The essential language ability for communication is speaking, particularly in English, where it is necessary for two-way communication that both parties can understand. Despite this, many students need to utilize their opportunities to practice speaking English more. As a result, this study aims to investigate the problems and difficulties that students face when speaking English. The descriptive methodology used in this study is qualitative. Data from interviews and direct observation were used to learn more about students' challenges as they tried to improve their English. The three steps of analysis that come after data collection are data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The findings indicated that students found it challenging to practice English conversation because they lacked confidence and courage and were afraid to make mistakes. Also, they needed an intense environment and a suitable vocabulary. As a result, encouraging students to practice speaking English requires an effective teaching method.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought dramatic changes in education, transforming traditional learning into e-learning around the world. The use of e-learning has been used by almost all universities in Indonesia, such as at Jakarta State University, in several faculties and study programs have used e-learning in the learning process. However, it is very unfortunate that the e-learning material used looks unspecific, unfocused, and piles all the teaching material into one teaching material. This makes students easily bored with the teaching materials used and makes students not understand the teaching material presented because the amount of material will be a burden for students. The term blended learning emerged after the development of information technology so that sources can be accessed by offline and online learners. With the development of blended learning, it can facilitate the learning process for students without having to interfere with activities. The obstacles above make researchers think that this New Orientation course in Educational Psychology has the potential toprovide appropriate solutions and interventions. The intervention that can be done is to developBlended Learning with a Case Base Learning approach in learning the New Orientation course in Educational Psychology. The benefits that researchers hope with the development of Blended Learning for the New Orientation course in Educational Psychology can make it easier for students to master the concepts in the New Orientation course in Educational Psychology and can overcome student learning difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic

This study aims to determine the management function that is applied to the Santri Disciplinary Court Program at the Darul Ihsan Modern Islamic Boarding School. The management functions that will be examined include program planning functions, program organizing functions, program implementation functions and program monitoring functions. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The sources of data in this study are divided into 2, namely primary and secondary data sources. Primary data sources are Islamic Boarding School Leaders, Heads of Boys and Girls Care and students of OPDI administrators as enforcers of disciplinary courts. Secondary data sources are school documents, journals, field notes, and various other documentation. The procedure for collecting research data is through observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher used Miles and Huberman's data analysis techniques, namely reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. After that, a data validity test was carried out through Credibility, dependability, transferability, and confirmability tests. The results of this study indicate that the Darul Ihsan Modern Islamic Boarding School has implemented a management function in the Disciplinary Court Program which includes program planning by determining disciplinary rules that must be obeyed by students through a meeting mechanism and providing socialization to students about the rules that must be obeyed. Program organization is carried out by the parenting department and assisted by OPDI students. The implementation of the program was carried out by providing discipline coaching and imposing sanctions on violators and supervision carried out by the care section for OPDI students as well as evaluations from the Islamic Boarding School Leaders.
