Independent rate-distortion optimization (RDO) is tractable to implement in video coding, but it cannot achieve global optimal rate-distortion performance. In this paper, we convert the problem of dependent RDO into the form of independent RDO by adjusting the Lagrange multiplier of a coding unit, and present a Lagrange multiplier adaptation method for versatile video coding (VVC). Firstly, the current frame is preencoded by an integer-pixel inter-picture prediction with the size of 32×32 to obtain the coding distortion and motion compensation predicted (MCP) error. Secondly, a distortion effect factor is estimated with the coding distortion and MCP error according to the location of the current frame in group of picture (GOP). Finally, a Lagrangian factor is introduced based on the distortion effect factor to adjust the Lagrange multiplier at coding tree unit (CTU) level. Experimental results show that, on the platform of VVC test model (VTM17.0), the proposed algorithm obtains 3.03% and 2.34% coding gains in terms of Bjøntegaard delta bitrate (BDBR), respectively, under the configurations of low-delay B and P slices.

The rapid growth of short-form video and the emergence of a large number of video entertainment applications have placed greater demands on video delivery and video caching, and video streaming analytics is of great value in scenarios such as smart surveillance, smart cities, and autonomous driving, but the high computational load, high bandwidth demand, and strict latency requirements make it difficult to deploy video streaming analytics through the traditional cloud computing paradigm. The recent emergence of the edge computing paradigm, which sinks computing tasks from the cloud to end devices and edge servers located at the edge of the network, can effectively solve these problems, which makes mobile edge computing (MEC) important. As a result, many edge computing studies for real-time video streaming analysis are emerging. However, existing techniques rarely consider digital twin (DT) technology. Therefore, in this paper, on the one hand, we study the problem of intelligent offloading of video stream cache (VSC) in mobile edge server cluster (MESC). On the other hand, Digital Twin Collaborative Caching (DTCC) algorithm is used to selectively store computation results of tasks and reduce system consumption.

At present, Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) has attracted the attention of the industry since its birth, which has the characteristics of low power consumption, low cost, and easy deployment and is even considered as the the most promising technologies for 6G. This paper proposed a RIS-aided high-speed railway communications scheme, which firstly compensates the Doppler shift of LOS component in the cascade channel by adjusting the phase of the RIS reflected signal, and then improves the received signal quality by maximizing the LOS path beam shaping gain, and coherently superimposes the RIS reflected signal and the base station transmitted signal at the receiving end. The simulation results show that the deployment and optimization system for RIS-assisted high-speed rail wireless communication system can effectively reduce the fast fading effect of high-speed mobile on wireless channels, and the system bit error rate performance has also been significantly improved compared with the scenario without deploying RIS.

Nowadays, multimedia data are often produced by various sources, e.g., Internet of Things (IoT), social media, customer databases, etc. As tremendous multimedia data are produced every day, users or E-commerce customers cannot infer information from such data by themselves and therefore recommender systems have been developed to help users to select the products or services which better fit users’ preferences or requirements. Nonetheless, there exists few works on the incorporation of side information or multiple attributes about items into the design of a more robust recommender system. In this work, we propose a novel approach based on the third-order tensor singular-value-decomposition (T3-SVD) to design new personalized multimedia recommender systems (PMRSs) for internet users. A PMRS can dynamically adjust its recommendation strategy subject to a particular user’s on-line transaction behavior. To evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed PMRS based on T3-SVD, we compare the performances of our proposed new PMRS and two other existing tensor-based recommendation systems over realworld data in terms of normalized root-mean-square error (NRMSE). As a result, our proposed new PMRS greatly outperforms the other two existing systems.

With the acceleration of China’s aging process, the number of urban empty nesters has increased sharply, and there are great safety hazards in kitchen use, such as fire or even explosion caused by gas leakage, overload operation of kitchen appliances, etc. In order to ensure the safety of the life and property of empty nesters, this paper integrates sensor technology, embedded technology and WiFi communication technology to design a new intelligent kitchen safety protection system to protect the life and property safety of the elderly. In the event of a fire, gas leakage, etc. in the kitchen, the system will make an audible and visual alarm to the parties, and automatically ventilate and extinguish the fire. At the same time, ESP8266—WiFi module is selected in combination with Alibaba Cloud platform and APP to realize remote transmission and alarm to the elderly and children. Meet the function of visual display and management of collected data on the mobile APP side, realize remote real-time data monitoring, and the system will send alarm messages to the community property in real time through GSM, which is convenient for property personnel to rush to the elderly in time for emergency treatment, playing the role of triple protection. After testing, the system achieved the desired goal, providing the elderly with convenient access to the modern kitchen while providing security.

This paper first introduces the time synchronization, time triggering, redundant communication and other characteristics of TTE time triggered Ethernet, and then presents the telemetry communication architecture, system synchronization capability and system synchronization characteristics of the traditional telemetry system, as well as the shortcomings of the traditional telemetry system. The telemetry system is proposed based on TTE time triggered Ethernet, which not only has the characteristics of time synchronization, time triggering, high-speed transmission and double redundancy of the TTE network, but also is compatible with the traditional telemetry system. The "two-level data integration" is adopted to solve the problems of incomplete telemetry frame data and ground demodulation lock loss that may be encountered when the telemetry system applies TTE time triggered Ethernet, and the utilization rate of telemetry bandwidth is 99%, which is equivalent to the effective telemetry bandwidth of traditional telemetry systems. After TTE time triggered Ethernet is applied to the telemetry system, the ground software processing needs data processing to recover telemetry data step by step to ensure compatibility with traditional telemetry systems.

In order to make full use of data resources and enhance the transaction frequency of data trading market, we propose a cloud service architecture of data products, make data products available to the public as a cloud service, moving from a procurement system to a procurement data service. Data cloud services have several advantages. 1) It comprehensively integrates the data of government, enterprises and individuals, and promotes the integration and application of multiple data. 2) Data cloud services are inexpensive, easy to use and maintenance-free, which can greatly reduce the procurement costs for those who require data products. Since the issue of data right confirmation and data pricing is involved in the process of data circulation and fusion, we also propose a method of data right confirmation based on blockchain. This enables the transfer and trading of different rights to data by NFTs such as data ownership, data use right, and data revenue right. In addition, we analysis the data pricing ideas that should be adopted in the data trading market at different times and under different circumstances, and give the corresponding methods for calculating the price of data products. Finally, we introduced the actual application scenario of data products cloud service architecture.

Nowadays, the popularity of Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) based services is growing rapidly. For cost and deployment time, radio communications for UAVs would derive enormous benefits from widely distributed cellular network coverage. 5G New Radio (NR) support for UAVs is one of the vertical services recently addressed in the 3GPP standardization activities. This paper briefly describes the interference and mobility issues that NR needs to address in order to support UAV scenarios. Then we sketch some potential solutions for enhanced interference and mobility management. Finally, we describe the direction of future work to enhance NR to support UAV services.

This paper proposed and realized a speech-based digital human driving system in Unreal engine. Based on blendshapes, this paper proposed a micro-expression driving algorithm to realize the change of expressions dynamically. In order to drive lip shapes efficiently, shape libraries are used to cache basic facial data instead of storing animations, which can reduce additional overhead of hardware resources, and can also achieve reuse and expansion of data. Moreover, this paper introduces the proxy middleware into the architecture, which can reduce bandwidth consumption. This system can be applied in intelligent services such as tour guiding, educational counseling, exhibition interpreting and other scenes, which does not affect the experiences of activities, but can greatly reduce the cost in terms of transportation, time and financial resources, and has broad application prospects.

Based on blendshapes, this paper proposed a micro-expression driving algorithm to realize the change of expressions dynamically. In order to drive lip shapes efficiently, shape libraries are used to cache basic facial data instead of storing animations, which can reduce additional overhead of hardware resources, and can also achieve reuse and expansion of data. Moreover, this paper introduces the proxy middleware into the architecture, which can reduce bandwidth consumption. With the rapid development of information technology, broadcasting services provide a lot of convenience for people's life. The way people obtain information services has become more and more abundant, the penetration rate of broadcasting services has increased and the number of multimedia applications has increased day by day, and the scale of the number of network users has been significantly improved. However, there are still some obvious new pain points in today's multimedia broadcasting service system. This article will combine actual needs, use blockchain technology, and use smart contracts as the support to design a future broadcast service system. Relying on emerging technologies, the system deeply optimizes the relationship between traditional content distribution and users, and can be more suitable for a new generation of future broadcast services.
