SIOP-LEGIS: Thesaurus for Selection and Management of Brazilian Treasury Domain SIOP-LEGIS:巴西财政领域的选择和管理词典

This work presents the approach used to select documents from the Brazilian Official Gazette for Federal Treasury domain and manage the explicit knowledge through a thesaurus according to ISO Standard 2788. The goal of the SIOP-LEGIS project joint with Department of Treasury is to facilitate search and retrieval of documents semantic related through hierarquic terms defined in the Thesaurus. The paper also presents a brief case study to demonstrate how the ontology domain evolution ocurrs in accordance with the legislation, case law and administrative acts in constant changes.

A Project Manager Skill-up Simulator Towards Problem Solving-based Learning 面向基于问题解决的学习的项目经理技能提升模拟器

This paper addresses a project manager skill-up simulator which aims to provide problem-solving learning environment. Project management is inherently human-centric activities, and research work for education has been done by using simulation. The proposed simulator environment is designed to provide well-configured functionalities that make it possible to generate high fidelity scenario on project situation with event rule firing mechanisms, evaluation on a learner’s operations as to the system development progress management phase. The proposed environment realizes effective scenario generation and well-insighted evaluation along with a learner’s interactive operations.

Efficient adaption of a company’s business and its business processes to a changing environment is a crucial ability to survive in today’s dynamic world. For optimizing business processes, a profound analysis of all relevant business data in the company is necessary. We define an extended data warehouse approach that integrates process-related data and operational business data. This extended data warehouse is used as the underlying data source for extended OLAP and data mining analysis techniques for a comprehensive business process optimization.

Communities of Practice and the Challenge of Management Support 实践社区和管理支持的挑战

Communities of Practice (CoP) are a strategic asset for innovative organisations. However, managers have problems to manage and facilitate CoPs, and therewith to harvest the benefits of these communities for the organisation. The goal of this research is to supply managers with a support framework to facilitate the development of CoPs, the CoP activities, and their contribution to the organisation. A design science study is conducted, which comprises of a literature research to develop a knowledge base and a study of cases to develop an environment base. Combined these sources are used to create a support tool, which was then evaluated by an expert panel.

This paper presents a novel process for formalizing UCM notation as an executable formal specification described in the Maude language Strategy, a recent extension of Maude. The main motivation of our work is essentially to provide a sound and rigorous description of complex systems described by UCM, which can help analysts, designers and developers, to automating their verification and validation processes and to assuring their quality.
