Cooperative Question Answering for the Semantic Web 语义网的协同问答

In this paper we propose a Cooperative Question Answering System that takes as input queries expressed in natural language and is able to return a cooperative answer obtained from resources in the semantic web, more specifically DBpedia represented in OWL/RDF as knowledge base and WordNet to build similar questions. Our system resorts to ontologies not only for reasoning but also to find answers and is independent of prior knowledge of the semantic resources by the user. The natural language question is translated into its semantic representation and then answered by consulting the semantics information sources. If there are multiple answers to the question posed (or to the similar questions for which DBpedia contains answers), they will be grouped according to their semantic meaning, providing a more cooperative and clean answer to the user.

In our long-term research we have created a new management and leadership methodology, which can be used for strategic management purposes to manage change and to lead the company resources efficiently and effectively towards the new future. Our research methods are based on management and leadership ontologies, with which we can capture the current and future views of personnel for use in strategy making and strategic management. The evidence we have obtained originates from our research with our ontologybased research instruments and test runs with fuzzy logic based computer applications.

Measuring the Impact of Knowledge - A Comparison of Web of Science and Google Scholar 衡量知识的影响——Web of Science与Google Scholar的比较

Assessing the quality of the knowledge produced by management academics is increasing being metricated. Moreover, emphasis is being placed on the impact of the research rather than simply where it is published. The main metric for impact is the number of citations a paper receives. Traditionally this data has come from the ISI Web of Science but research has shown that this has poor coverage in the social sciences. A newer and different source for citations is Google Scholar. In this paper we compare the two on a dataset of over 1200 publications from a UK Business School. The results show that Web of Science is indeed poor in the area of management and that Google Scholar, whilst somewhat unreliable, has a much better coverage.

Distributed Allocation of a Corporate Semantic Web 企业语义网的分布式分配

This paper outlines a general method for allocating a document collection over a distributed storage system. Documents are organized to make up a corporate semantic web featured by a graph 1 G , each of whose nodes represents a set of documents having a common range of semantic indices. There exists a second graph 2 G modelling the distributed storage system. Our approach consists of embedding 1 G into 2 G , under space restrictions. We use a meta-heuristic called “Ant Colony Optimization”, to solve the corresponding instances of the graph embedding problem, which is known to be a NP problem. Our solution provides an efficient mechanism for information storage and retrieval.
