Today, plastic waste and its disposal Such as wrappers of chocolate, chips, carry bags, cold drink bottles and all other forms of plastic create significant environmental and economic problems. These forms of plastic consume massive energy-depleting in the environment in various ways. So manufacturing firms and construction industries, the use of plastic is a priority to handle and pack things comfortable due to its lightweight, effectiveness cost, and strength. The plastic waste used is poly-ethylene, poly-styrene, poly-propylene, the temperature varying between 120oc 160oc gives the softening point of these plastics. The plastic waste is shredded & coated over the aggregate and mixed with hot bitumen and the resulted mix is used for pavement construction this mix will not only strengthen the pavement and also increases its durability. The main objective of this paper is to discuss the importance of plastic in terms of cost reduction, increases the strength and durability when these plastics are heated and coated upon the aggregates to reduce the air voids with plastic and binds with aggregate to provide stability. It’s economical and eco-friendly. Keywords—Flexible pavement, aggregate, plastic waste, plastic modified bitumen and plastic modified aggregate

In cloud data centre the VM scheduling technique is used to realize the energy efficient operation of servers and VM migration techniques provides multiple benefits such as resource distribution and energy aware consolidation. In VM migration while moving a task from one VM to another has various security threats. The security is more important during migration to protect the data from the hackers. In the proposed paper, illustrates the security features of energy efficient techniques when it performs live VM migration is the most vulnerable process in cloud for loss of data integrity, confidentiality, unauthorized access and authorization. In this paper we propose a secure energy aware provisioning for data centre resources on virtualized platforms. Energy efficient is achieved through VM scheduling, migration mechanism and ability to switch off resources of the physical machine that are not required by VM. Further we proposed solutions to security challenges occur during VM live migration. The implementation and verification of the proposed technique is evaluated using Cloudsim. The experimental results show that our approach reduces energy consumption in data centres.

Tridax procumbens (T. procumbens) Linn. is a medicinal plant found in tropical, sub-tropical and mild temperate regions around the world being used in Ayurveda treatment for liver disorders, boils, blisters, cuts, wound healing and as an anticoagulant, antifungal, and insect repellent. The plant is known to contain flavonoids, alkaloids, carotenoids, hydroxycinnamates, lignans, benzoic acid derivatives, phytosterols and tannins. The plant is also associated with endophytes to produce secondary metabolies by endophytes possessing antibacterial and antifungal activities. Different parts of this plant and essential oil are associated with ethnopharmacological properties like wound healing, antibacterial, immunomodulation, antiinflammatory, antidiabetic, vasorelaxant, antihyperlipidemic, anticancer, antiplasmodial, anticoagulation and antihepatic. Most of these studies validate the concept of earlier claims that T. procumbens’s potential as a medicinal plant. Further studies are required to unravel other pharmacological activities as well as the target-based mechanism of actions. The review also highlights the need for exploring lead molecules from these myriad of compounds that are of vital importance in drug discovery strategies.

The issue of visual impairment or blindness is faced worldwide. According to statistics of the World Health Organization (WHO), globally, at least 2.2 billion people have a vision impairment or blindness, of whom at least 1 billion are blind. In terms of regional differences, the prevalence of vision impairment in lowand middle-income regions is four times higher than in high-income regions.[6] Blind people generally have to rely on white canes, guide dogs, screen-reading software, magnifiers, and glasses to assist them for mobility, however, To help the blind people the visual world has to be transformed into the audio world with the potential to inform them about objects as well as their spatial locations. Therefore, we propose to aid the visually impaired by introducing a system that is most feasible, compact, and costeffective. So, we implied a system that makes use of Raspberry Pi in which you only look once (YOLO v3) machine learning algorithm trained on the coco database is applied. The experimental result shows YOLO v3 achieves state-of-the-art results of 85% to 95% on overall performance, 100% (person, chair, clock, and cell-phone) recognition accuracy. This system not only provides mobility to the visually impaired with that it provides the term that ahead is an XYZ object rather than a

As the world population continues to grow, so does the amount of garbage that people produce. On the go lifestyle requires easily disposable products , such as soda cans or bottles of water, but the accumulation of these products has led to increase amounts of plastics pollution around the world .As plastics is composed of major toxic pollutants, it has the potential to cause significant harm to the environment in the form of air , water, and land pollution. Hence we are going to reduce the usage of plastics by replacing it with the natural fiber. The fibers used are kenaf fiber , cocosnucifera sheath and carbon nano particles using various chemical treatment for the fiber and by having different composition. The kenaf fiber is chosen since it is available in large amount and the fiber obtained is twice the amount of jute , cotton etc. and the tensile strength is more in this fiber . And the cocosnucifera sheath also has higher mechanical strengths . the kenaf fiber is treated with NaOH chemical to further increase its strength. and both the fibers are reinforced with epoxy resin which is mixed with carbon nano tube particles which will again increase the strength of the composite . thus the composite is strong enough and can be used to replace the plastics.

Connected devices, sensors, and mobile apps make the retail sector a relevant testbed for big data tools and applications. We investigate how big data is, and can be used in retail operations. Based on our state-of-the-art literature review, we identify four themes for big data applications in retail logistics: availability, assortment, pricing, and layout planning. Our semistructured interviews with retailers and academics suggest that historical sales data and loyalty schemes can be used to obtain customer insights for operational planning, but granular sales data can also benefit availability and assortment decisions. External data such as competitors’ prices and weather conditions can be used for demand forecasting and pricing. However, the path to exploiting big data is not a bed of roses. Challenges include shortages of people with the right set of skills, the lack of support from suppliers, issues in IT integration, managerial concerns including information sharing and process integration, and physical capability of the supply chain to respond to real-time changes captured by big data. We propose a data maturity profile for retail businesses and highlight future research directions. Association Rules is one of the data mining techniques which is used for identifying the relation between one item to another. Creating the rule to generate the new knowledge is a must to determine the frequency of the appearance of the data on the item set so that it is easier to recognize the value of the percentage from each of the datum by using certain algorithms, for example apriori. This research discussed the comparison between market basket analysis by using apriori algorithm and market basket analysis without using algorithm in creating rule to generate the new knowledge. The indicator of comparison included concept, the process of creating the rule, and the achieved rule. The comparison revealed that both methods have the same concept, the different process of creating the rule, but the rule itself remains the same.

In general, Coconuts are de-husked manually using either a machete or a spike. These methods require skilled labor and are tiring to use. Attempts made so far in the development of de-husking tools have been only partially successful and not effective in replacing manual methods. Considering the drawbacks of manual de-husking methods, and existing automated de-husker, power operated coconut de-husking machine was developed. This power operated coconut de-husking machine operates on 3-phase, 2 hp electric motor. It mainly consists of parts like frame, electric motor, speed reduction unit and de-husking unit. Single person is required for operating the de-husker. During the tests, average time required for de-husking a coconut was found to be 25 second, and the machine can dehusk 120-150 coconuts per hour. Therefore by using this machine time and labor cost is saved to great extent.

AGC plays an important role in multi area power system to maintain system frequency and tie-line powers at their normal values. The performance analysis of AGC for two area power system done in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. The simulation results show that the Fuzzy-PID controller gives improved dynamic performance of system compared to conventional PID controller.
