Of the more than 400,000 Chinese students who now study abroad; 235,000 came to the US; 25% of University of Washington Undergraduate enrollment for Spring 2013 were Asian. Other countries share this upward trend also. Chinese nationals comprised the largest percentage of international students at UW – my research location. In 2015 on the UW Seattle campus 3,845 international Chinese students enrolled. The study was designed to help create more useful and enlightened programs for Chinese students pursuing degrees abroad as well as for those striving for vocations within global industries by identifying best practices and support programs for Chinese students, universities and other institutions. This study employed a qualitative research method and in-depth interviews designed to examine the academic and overall experience of Chinese international students, domestic students, faculty and staff members at the University of Washington (UW). Research revealed five major obstacles influencing Chinese students’ perception of their academic and overall well-being on campus: language, loss of filial emotional support, lack of critical and creative thinking skills, culture shock and time management inadequacies. This study recommends to both countries toward developing a more holistic approach in preparing Chinese international students and those seeking global vocations. More intensive language, emotional intelligence and inter-cultural training is vital. Partnership programs between American students and Chinese students should be established to assist in these goals.

Realizing decent employment for the new generation of migrant workers can alleviate labor-management conflicts and promote harmonious social development. This paper uses the 2017 database of the Chinese General Social Survey (CGSS) to analyze the relationship between the human capital of the new generation of migrant workers and decent employment. The research shows that: human capital and the realization degree of decent employment are positively correlated. The gender, age, education, health, and labor migration of the new generation of migrant workers have a significant impact on decent employment. The standardized coefficients of age, education, health, and labor migration in the model are 0.131, 0.273, 0.193, 0.460.It shows that for every increase of age by 1 unit, the realization degree of decent employment increases by 0.131 units; for every unit of academic qualifications, the realization degree of decent employment increases by 0.273 units; for every 1 unit of health status, the realization degree of decent employment increases by 0.193 units; For every increase of 1 unit of labor migration, the realization degree of decent employment increases by 0.460 units.

Drawing ability is the common among the kids in primary school. Usually they use the pen or pensile as a tool to draw the image. This can help the kids to form a basic knowledge about the 2D scene. With 3D printing pen the kids can not only learn knowledge but also construct the 3D models in their mind. Meanwhile their character can be built from the courses. To do so we design the various courses relating to the school books. This paper reports on the results of research efforts in investigating and developing the children’s ability. We describe the designed courses on a constructive task with 3D printing pens.
