Chen Duxiu is a leading figure in the early Marxist group. His traditional cultural view in leading the new cultural movement has the outstanding characteristics of being old and innovative. Chen Duxiu advocated democracy and science as the goal and devoted himself to the profound criticism and transformation of Chinese traditional culture represented by Confucianism. The first is to expose the relationship between Confucianism and the feudal autocratic monarchy, strongly flog the decadent act of respecting Confucius and restoring the ancients advocated by the Beiyang government and its spokesmen in the early Republic of China, and call on the people to first clean up all the old ideas against the Republic in their minds to consolidate the revolutionary achievements of the Democratic Republic. Second, we should advocate the cultural value orientation of democracy and science, and take thoroughly criticizing all the old ideas, morality and literature as the path to spread modern civilization concepts such as Democratic Republic, freedom and equality, and scientific progress. Third, it uses the Marxist position, viewpoint and method to make clear the attitude of criticizing Chinese traditional culture in two parts, and affirms the great contribution of Chinese excellent traditional culture in inheriting Chinese civilization. His traditional culture view in the May 4th new culture movement reflects the inevitable trend of historical development and the practical requirements of realistic politics, and explores the important path of Sinicization of Marxism.

With the rapid economic and social development, the country has a growing need for innovative and well-educated generalists. In this context, it is of great academic value to focus on public art education in higher education and to explore the role of aesthetic education for individuals, society, and the nation, and is conducive to innovative university public art education work practice paths. This paper takes the current situation of public art education in colleges and universities as a starting point and proposes the significance of public art education in colleges and universities by analyzing its problems in order to justify the necessity of its practical innovation. Finally, a countermeasure consistent with the characteristics of university public art education is proposed.

A position often reflects a view of what reality is and how we understand it. It is seen as a discussion of philosophical underpinnings when social researchers clarify their methodologies. However, relating methodologies to the theoretical assumptions often bewilders social researchers, educational researchers particularly (Crotty, 1998). The study contrasts ontological and epistemological positions from the perspectives of positivism and interpretivism and evaluate positivist criteria in educational research. It indicates that a critical awareness of current debates concerning the purposes and interpretation of educational research requires further research.

Firstly, the paper introduces the abnormal rise of pork price in China in 2019. And then, it analyzes the reasons for rising pork prices from the demand side and the supply side. Through analyzing data and reviewing literature, it was found that the demand side was generally stable, and the problem was mainly due to the substantial reduction in the supply side. The specific reasons are as follows: the outbreak of the Infection with African swine fever virus(ASF), unreasonable promotion of local environmental protection policies and large-scale breeding policies, endogenous promotion of "hog cycle" and the imported pork can’t make up the shortfall. This triggered our thinking in terms of market allocation of resources, policy formulation and implementation, and government regulation.

The current study examined the associations between depression and several potential predictors: intolerance of uncertainty (IU), mindfulness and stress between two different cultures (US America and China). US American participants reported higher levels of depression and stress compared to their Chinese counterparts, and stress was strongly and positively associated with depression for both cultural groups. These results suggest that stress fully mediates the cultural difference in depression. Contrary to our hypotheses, however, there were no cultural differences in IU nor mindfulness. These findings have implications for counseling practice and future research.

As the crises happened in political area became much more frequently and intensely in recent decades, there are more and more people starting to reflect on the legitimacy of the modern politics. They wish to diagnose the diseases of our era and give their own prescriptions. Hannah Arendt was one of the greatest one in these thinkers. Since she started her political thinking, the modernity had been in her core topics in a very long time. On Revolution , her book published in 1963, was one of her prescriptions to solve the problems. This article would talk about the positive factors she considered the American Revolution had revealed in building up a new Constitution for freedom and those negative factors she thought that led the French Revolution fell into failure. Through filtering out these core factors from her majestic and complex articulation, we can have a clearer picture of what kind of new order was praised by her. Then, we will also point out the problems inside her articulation about the new order to have a deeper understanding of her reflection on the political reality.

The advent of communication technology has posted great challenges to conventional media. The traditional mainstream media are accordingly faced with fierce competition under the flourishing media convergence. People’s Daily, as the representative of mainstream media in China, has accomplished media transformation. Within embracing various technologies and engaging with the audience, it earns great attention and credits. By carrying out a case study on the media transition of People’s Daily, this research reveals the influence on the storytelling of People’s Daily, from content to perspective, and amplifies on how the transition impacts news value. The results of this study indicate that People’s Daily wins favor from people by adopting the perspective of the masses, developing audience-focused awareness and labeling itself as an indispensable key opinion leader. Simultaneously, the news value is challenged, as People’s Daily presents the audience with brief and emotional content. Accordingly, people could be easily irritated without understanding the whole story and crucial reasons behind the information, besides the tendency of adapting to fragmented information is problematic. Suspicion of unifying public opinions also exists as People’s Daily frequently select favorable comments below controversial issues.

In order to meet the growing demand for big data talents, colleges and universities have set up data science and big data technology majors. Taking the construction of data science and big data technology specialty in Chengdu University of Information Technology as an example, it is introduced that how to establish a scientific curriculum system to achieve the training goal of application-oriented big data talents in local universities under the new engineering education background. The content and connotation of general education courses, basic courses and professional courses are expounded. The role of big data engineering courses is emphasized in talent training. Preliminary practice shows that the setting of the curriculum system fully considers the needs of the industry, its own positioning and the requirements of engineering education. It has a positive reference for the construction of data science and big data technology majors in related domestic universities.

With the development of society, community social organizations play an increasingly important role in the life of ordinary residents, which has a crucial role in the innovative community management mode and the improvement of the community's well-being. At present, our government attaches great importance to its development, and promotes the growth of community social organizations through the linkage of the three social organizations. Although community social organizations have played a positive role in enriching residents' lives and promoting community residents' participation in community governance, their problems in organization management, organization operations, and community service effects cannot be ignored. To promote the healthy development of community social organizations, the government needs to increase its support to community social organizations and improve the supervision system; professional social work organizations should use their professional advantages to guide the development of community social organizations on the right track. At the same time, we should give full play to the social contact role of the three social linkages to jointly promote the sustainable development of community social organizations.

The origin of Hanfu is very early, but the development of Hanfu has gone through a long process from rebirth to symbolism. It witnessed the prosperity and decline from the Yellow Emperor period to the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, along with the common growth of the Chinese nation. From the Yellow Emperor's accession to the throne to the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, in the main residential areas of the Han nationality, the Chinese etiquette culture was the center, which affected the whole Han culture circle. Nowadays, we are looking back to Chinese culture and reshaping the "Hanfu fever" of Chinese civilization, so that people can gradually understand what is the deep dress and the right lapel. Hanfu has become an indispensable part of Chinese civilization which has been passed down for thousands of years.
