Studying the relationship and interactive mechanism between family socio-economic factors, family cultural resources, extracurricular tutoring, and students’ academic performance can provide theoretical support and direction guidance for optimizing the allocation of educational resources and promoting the improvement of students’ learning quality. This study used PISA China (2015) data to select a sample of 9,841 students from 268 schools covering dozens of districts and counties, and explored the impact of family socio-economic factors, family cultural capital, and extracurricular tutoring factors on students’ academic achievement through a three-layer linear regression model. The study found that when only demography variables were included, it had no significant effect on predicting students’ academic achievements. When adding family socioeconomic group variables, family socioeconomic factors have a significant positive predictive effect on students’ academic performance, with family wealth contributing the most; After adding cultural resource group variables, the explanatory power of the model increased by 40.2%, indicating that cultural resource factors have a significant positive effect on students’ academic performance. Increasing cultural resource investment can have a positive effect on improving students’ academic achievement.

The human race came from one blood (Acts 17: 26). The abilities of the soul and spirit of each person are laid down by the Creator for research. The human spirit reflects and fixes the qualitative properties of the perceived environment. The human mind cognizes and explores the observed reality. Through linguistic interpretation and functional formalization within the framework of a theory built with the help of axioms and concepts, it captures the results of research. The functional law of thinking Dao, Chinese philosophers proposed as a law of formalization and quantitative representation of the material world as follows: Dao generates 1, 1 generates 2, and so on; The Dao gives rise to plus, minus, multiply, divide, and other functions. Linguistic thinking generates an interpretation of what is happening in the observed reality. Functional thinking is formed and developed within the framework of axiomatic theory. A theory is built on the basis of axioms and concepts. The theory describes the phenomena, processes, essence of the material world and provides an opportunity to conduct research based on its facts and results. When a person focuses his attention on the relevant research, this indicates that he has the knowledge and skills to work in this area, perceiving the living information of nature and the noosphere. Complex formalization and interpretation of the surrounding reality have led to artificial intelligence, which develops new practical results for a person. Interdisciplinary research provides a more holistic view of the Universe. Actual research at the current time is the construction of the theory, detection, identification and use of natural technologies.

Textbook is one of the “three teachings”, and it is an important basis and carrier of teaching. The new form of textbooks is a product of the intelligent age and an important embodiment of the modernization of teaching materials. In the context of the intelligent era, the development of new forms textbooks is an important content of academic concern. We found that there are not many studies on new forms of international Chinese textbooks, and most of the textbooks have not yet entered the stage of integrated construction. The three-dimensional textbooks such as Great Wall Chinese are still an exception. In this regard, we believe that it is necessary to take the creation of three-dimensional teaching materials as the course, closely follow Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education, and multi-party construction teams go hand in hand to implement the dynamic update of international Chinese teaching materials resources.

This paper takes a look at China’s “double reduction policy” of recent years, which restricts the out-of-school tutoring services, and analyses the characteristics of China’s working and middle classes in terms of educating the next generation and accessing education, as well as the differences between these groups in terms of external factors, including economic and cultural capital, and internal factors, mainly habits. In this way, it is possible to investigate whether the “double reduction policy” introduced by the Chinese government to safeguard the rights of students and parents to an equitable education can really safeguard the development of an equitable education in China’s complex social environment, or whether the forced banning of out-of-school tutoring services has a more negative impact on the disadvantaged classes. In addition, based on the analysis of the characteristics of the different classes, some suggestions are given to guarantee equity in education and the rights of different classes.

This study sought to examine senior mathematics secondary school learners’ perceptions and attitudes towards the learning of Calculus in a selected district of the Northern Province in Zambia. The research design was Analytical and descriptive. Therefore, quantitative and qualitative data were collected from 400 learners using a questionnaire. The Relative Importance Index (RII) guided the identification and determination of factors influencing learners’ perceptions and attitudes regarding the learning of calculus. The data collected were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20.0. It was established that the majority of learners perceived calculus to be an important subject as it encouraged them to think deeply thus improving their ability to make daily life decisions. Consequently, learners have a positive perception of calculus and an equally positive attitude towards calculus. Furthermore, it was established that apart from learner effort, parental, peer and teacher support were identified as key drivers in positively influencing students’ learning of Calculus in secondary schools under the study.

College English in China is an intricate subject. Besides helping their students to learn and eventually understand English, teachers must expose their students to their upcoming standardized test(s) which they need to pass to graduate. Thus, making the balance between teaching the language and teaching the test much more complicate. Suggested by many researchers (Li, 2009; Zhan & Andrew, 2014; Jin & Yan, 2006), a college English teacher need to truly be aware of what one is teaching, what does one want his or her students learn from this course are the critical issue while composing one’s lesson plan. This research aims to figure out how does college teachers think about those standardized tests, such as CET-4, and how do they adapt their teaching methods and process according to the complicated circumstance under the system. Supported by the theories and conclusions of many other researches on this topic, this research would like to go over and discuss some phenomenon with actual college English teachers in Guangzhou. By interviewing with some college English teachers and going to their classes, the discussions and observations are valuable to solve the issue of what is the most optimal way to design and teach a college English course.
