Libraries are depositories of print and non-print information resources, vital in any institution for preserving and conserving human knowledge. As a result of the pandemic, many libraries were forced to close, significantly impacting how people utilized libraries. The primary purpose of the study is to determine the level of utilization of BC Main Library Information Resources by fourth-year undergraduate students amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the study attempted to identify the information resources available at BC Main Library, identify the problems impeding optimal utilization of library information resources during the pandemic, and offer solutions to the challenges discovered. This employed a descriptive quantitative survey method, with respondents receiving questionnaires online. Findings revealed that the majority of respondents acknowledged the availability of information resources in the Bicol College Main Library, and they utilized these resources even amidst the pandemic. Due to the limits imposed by the pandemic, students had challenges using these resources. The suggested measures are critical in addressing students' difficulties when using these resources. More studies on improving awareness should be performed, and the provision of orientations, training, and capitalizing on new technology was highlighted as measures to promote library awareness and utilization.

The education disruption has had and will continue to have substantial effects beyond education. The closure of schools worldwide became a signal to implement distance or remote learning. However, online learning modalities were associated with positive impact and effectiveness due to their feasible variables, such as assessment and interaction. Most learners still choose modular distance learning modality due to the lack of available materials and internet access. This study aims to develop an educational manga series in Mathematics that will minimize the learning gaps and create a pseudo-interactive effect on learners to increase their interest in reading and understanding printed modules. Mixed-Method Research Design, specifically sequential explanatory design, was used to ensure the successful implementation of the intervention continually. Data was collected and interpreted using google forms and a focus group discussion (FGD) afterward via google meet. Based on the findings, it was found that manga can help the learners grasp the meaning of the text better; as learning material, it can enhance understanding of the Mathematics concept and instruction better. The illustration and story help the learners increase their motivation and excitement due to their pseudo-interactive effect. This effect is described as the feeling of being part of the story. Therefore, it is recommended to use educational manga as learning materials in flexible learning options (FLOs) and courses that require practical experience.

Public school teachers are role models who mold students into better citizens, and teachers are regarded as the epitome of education and career success. Delivering financial education will be the pinnacle of absurdity if teachers do not practice personal financial management. This study investigated public school teachers' knowledge and practice of personal financial management and entrepreneurial competencies. The study employed the descriptive-correlational method, administered to 229 selected teachers in the Cebu City Division. The main instrument, which consists of three components, was adopted and modified. The data were collected, arranged, tabulated, and interpreted using a statistical technique like weighted mean and Pearson r Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The study revealed that public school teachers were moderately knowledgeable and practiced personal financial management. Also, they moderately manifested all the entrepreneurial competencies identified in the study. Using the Pearson Correlation Coefficient, the level of knowledge and practice of personal financial management are significantly correlated. As a result, it was concluded that public school teachers need to enhance their knowledge and practice of personal financial management, especially knowledge and practice of investing, and the other areas of entrepreneurial competencies uncovered as weak. Subsequently, the principal researcher crafted a comprehensive action plan to help public school teachers enrich their knowledge and practice of personal financial management and entrepreneurial competencies, scaffolding their financial resilience and gently nudging them to entrepreneurial ventures.

The study aimed to derive a faculty development model based on the interrelationships of individual and organizational variables and work-related behaviors. It involved two-hundred four or 69% of the permanent faculty of Palawan State University. A modified questionnaire adapted from western studies with Cronbach’s alpha of 0.91 measured the respondents’ levels of commitment, job satisfaction, citizenship behavior, and perceptions of support, climate, and justice in the university. Statistical analysis revealed that perceived organizational climate predicts commitment, citizenship behavior, and job satisfaction, while perceived support and justice predict job satisfaction. The derived model may guide administrators in formulating policies in the university that would motivate faculty members to improve their performance and engender their sense of obligation to contribute to the accomplishment of the goals of the university. Faculty members who experienced job satisfaction, and perceived higher levels of support, ultimately become committed to their teaching, research, and community service functions. The faculty development model suggests that promoting motivation and hygiene factors in the university will actualize the norms of reciprocity between the university and its faculty. Thus, it is beneficial to foster activities in the university from which the faculty feel a favorable organizational climate, support, and justice.

The majority of global sectors were affected by the pandemic caused by a Coronavirus outbreak. This includes the academic world, which consists of millions of enrolled students and active teachers who previously had regular classes in their institutions but were forced to stay home due to the pandemic. To continue the educational process, most countries implemented online classes. Both teaching and learning take place in this mode using electronic devices and different online platforms relatively new to the teaching-learning community. The study used a quantitative method where the researcher surveyed the IBEd Faculty at St. Mary’s College of Baliuag to determine the frequency of educational technology tools such as Google Workspace for Education. A survey was conducted to evaluate the frequency of utilization and problems encountered by the Faculty in utilizing the Google Workspace Educational Tools. Results showed that the faculty were unfamiliar with some of the tools in Google Workspace and rarely used them in their classroom discussion. Teachers' responses revealed that they still need time to explore more of the different tools in Google Workspace and attend different pieces of training that will teach them how to use the tools. The results of the survey will provide valuable information in the design of professional training programs.

Childhood educators are adjusting as they transition from the global pandemic to the new normal. This qualitative study explored the learning processes facilitated by teachers for children in a group childcare center in British Columbia, Canada, during the new normal. The case study identified six teachers who were purposefully identified based on the following criteria: being licensed childhood educators, teaching in the facility, and showing a willingness to participate in the study. The twenty young children were likewise chosen considering these conditions: they are enrolled in the facility, aged three to four, and their parents gave their written consent. In-depth interviews, classroom observations, photographs, and field notes were utilized. Trustworthiness was also observed in the study. Findings reveal three emerging themes: engaging children in deliberate play-based activities streamlining classroom management, and challenging and rewarding learning. The study concludes that the teachers’ learning process is characterized by high learner engagement in deliberate play-based activities. The facilitators of learning have to streamline their classroom management through creative scaffolding, collaboration, and modifications in their teaching and pacing. Facilitating learning is a confluence of challenges, job fulfillment, and positive impact. Thus, further investigation may be conducted to verify the findings in other childcare centers in British Columbia, Canada.

This research used a quasi-experimental research design during COVID-19 distance education. It utilized a comparison and experimental group of learners at Parian Elementary School, Schools Division of Calamba City. Based on the results of the study, there is evidence to support that the experimental group performed better than the comparison group in the formative test. Likewise, the result of the Independent Samples t-test result reveals a significant difference between the Posttest Mean Scores of the Comparison and Experimental groups. Hence, the hypothesis, which states no significant difference, is rejected. Further, there is an improvement in the score of the comparison group from the pretest to posttest. However, a great improvement in the mean score of the experimental group. In conclusion, the Reflective and Integrative (RAI) video lessons successfully enhance the academic performance of Grade 2 Araling Panlipunan learners. The study recommends that Education Officials and School Administrators are encouraged to support the teachers in implementing technological pedagogical innovations in delivering 21st-century quality education. They are also encouraged to conduct seminars and workshops on technological pedagogical innovation in the new normal education. Future researchers may identify and test other factors or variables that can further define the effectiveness of the RAI video lesson. Similar study may be conducted to explore the variables not included in this study, such as classroom.
