This research was conducted from July to September 2023, with the aim of analyzing the relationship between oceanographic parameters and yellowfin tuna catch. The use of experimental fishing method with regression analysis and geographic information system is expected to answer the research objectives. Based on the results of the study, it was found that simultaneously oceanographic conditions have a significant effect on the catch of yellowfin tuna in Ternate Island waters with a calculated F value of 12,449 and a significance of 0.000, then with the backward method it was found that individually only sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a concentration parameters were closely related to yellowfin tuna catches with a coefficient of determination (r2) value of 0.581 and 0.461, respectively. It is necessary to conduct further research with different fishing locations in order to determine the potential of fisheries, especially yellowfin tuna.

Most people are only familiar with functions that have been formulated explicitly y=f(x)) or implicitly (f(x,y)=0) However, functions obtained by researchers and engineers based on experimental data or field observations often do not have a known formula, and are therefore only represented in the form of tabulated discrete points. To determine the continuity of a tabulated function obtained from observational data, a function formula from the data is required. Consequently, the condition for the continuity of a function, where 〖lim〗┬(x→c)〖f(x)=f(c)〗cannot be met. The problem in this research is to utilize data on the number of poor people from 2015-2021 and predict the monthly number of poor people using the Newton polynomial interpolation method with Maple. It also aims to prove the continuity of functions represented by tabulated discrete points by showing whether 〖lim〗┬(x→c)〖p(x)=p(c)〗 or 〖lim〗┬(x→c)〖p(x)≠p(c)〗. Based on the research results, it was found that Newton polynomial interpolation can be used to estimate the monthly number of poor people based on annual data, provided the conditions are met: the data represents a function, and the data table interval is changed to (1 )/12. The estimated function (Newton polynomial) p(x) obtained, in the form: (0.0121666) x^5-(122.7059942) x^4+ ( 4.950193546*〖10〗^5 ) x^3-( 0.985008654*〖10〗^8 ) x^2+(1.0070 35027*〖10〗^12)x-(4.062567218*〖10〗^14 ) has been proven to demonstrate the continuity of a function represented by tabulated discrete points by showing that 〖lim〗┬(x→c)〖p(x)=p(c)〗 for each point.

The aims of this research are 1. To find out the factors that cause wall damage to student flats (rusunawa) at the Muhammadiyah University of Maluku Mtara. 2. To find out ways to repair wall damage due to seepage in student flats (rusunawa) at Muhammadiyah University, North Maluku. 3. To find out the estimated cost of repairing the walls of the student flats (rusunawa) at Muhammadiyah University, North Maluku. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The qualitative method is a method of collecting data using observation, namely by examining an object by making observations about the situation, conditions and events that occur, so that the characteristics of the conditions of the research object can be clearly described according to the facts obtained. 1. Factors that cause damage to occur a. Mechanical Damage b. Physical Damage c. Chemical Damage d. Biological Damage e. Damage due to user factors 2. How to deal with damage to building walls a. This research was conducted at the Fishery Product Technology Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University of North Maluku (UMMU) Ternate. In January 2023 with the aim of knowing the effect of adding the concentration of tuna and kite meat to the meatball products produced and the best quality value of tuna and kite meatball products. This study used a completely randomized design, with the types of tests, namely organoleptic test, bite test, folding test. The results showed that tuna meatball products from all test parameters that gave an effect only on the Taste parameter, for the Appearance, Odor and Texture parameters did not give a real effect. While meatball products from fly fish from all tested parameters including Appearance, Odor, Taste and Texture all give a real influence on the quality of the meatballs produced.

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Ternate, Provinsi Maluku Utara pada bulan April 2023 dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penanganan yang diterapkan pada kapal penangkap madidihang di PPN Ternate, menentukan pengaruh penanganan terhadap mutu madidihang yang didaratkan di PPN Ternate dan menentukan bentuk penanganan yang tepat pada kapal penangkap madidihang di PPN Ternate. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus yang dilakukan di PPN Ternate, studi kasus yaitu pengujian secara terinci terhadap suatu objek dengan memusatkan perhatian pada suatu kasus secara intensif dan rinci. Pada kasus ini mengamati pengaruh penanganan madidihang yang dilakukan saat di laut dan saat pembongkaran dilakukan terhadap mutu madidihang dengan pengamatan dilakukan pada dua kapal yaitu: kapal hand line dan kapal long boat. Hasil Penelitian didapat bahwa Penanganan yang diterapkan kapal hand line lebih baik, berdasarkan pada tampilan ikan madidihang yang didaratkan, lebih cemerlang serta kurangnya goresan pada bagian tubuh dan proporsi cacatnya (berdasarkan pada bobot madidihang kurang dari 17 kg) lebih kecil (5%) daripada kapal pancing tonda, tampilan kurang cemerlang dan terdapat banyak goresan pada tubuh madidihang yang didaratkan dan proporsi cacatnya lebih besar (berdasarkan pada bobot madidihang kurang dari 17 kg), sebesar 27%.

Salah satu alat bantu penangkapan yang ada dan sangat populer serta diminati oleh para nelayan bagan perahu adalah lampu celup bawah air (Lacuba) yang berfungsi untuk penerangan dalam proses penangkapan ikan dan sebagai penarik perhatian ikan berkumpul mendekati cahaya lampu, memudahkan menjaringnya dan nelayan dapat meningkatkan hasil tangkapannya. Sejalan dengan perkembangan teknologi seluruh nelayan bagan perahu di Desa Toniku telah menggunakan lampu listrik dan lampu celup dalam air untuk mengumpulkan ikan di bagan yang mereka operasikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama perendaman lampu terhadap hasil tangkapan bagan perahu di Desa Toniku Teluk Dodingga Kabupaten Halmahera Barat, Maluku Utara. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan sebagai sumber informasi bagi nelayan bagan perauhu di Desa Toniku, sekaligus sebagai bahan kajian ilmiah bagi pengembangan ilmu perikanan tangkap. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2016, bertempat di Desa Toniku. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktor tunggal, dengan 3 perlakukan perendaman yang diulangi sebanyak 3 kali yaitu perlakuan A (lama perendaman 2 jam), B (lama perendaman 3 jam sebagai kontrol), dan C (lama perendaman 4 jam).Hasil analisis sidik ragam secara manual mendapatkan bahwa lama perendaman tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil tangkapan terlihat pada nilai Fhitung untuk lama perendaman lampu sebesar 0,418 < Ftabel sebesar 6,94 pada taraf α = 0,05, sedangkan untuk perlakuan terlihat pada nilai Fhitung sebesar 0,295 < Ftabel sebesar 6,94 pada taraf α = 0,05. Ini menunjukan bahwa lama perendaman lampu celup tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata pada hasil tangkapan ikan teri pada bagan perahu.

Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan sebagai sumber informasi bagi nelayan bagan perauhu di Desa Toniku, sekaligus sebagai bahan kajian ilmiah bagi pengembangan ilmu perikanan tangkap. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2016, bertempat di Desa Toniku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Implementasi Peraturan KepMen No 57 Tahun 2014 terhadap aktivitas bongkar muat ikan Tuna di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Ternate sebelum dan setelah dijalankan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi mengenai dampak penerapan Implementasi Peraturan KepMen No 57 Tahun 2014 bagi kegiatan bongkar muat Ikan tuna di PPN Ternate. Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Ternate Propinsi Maluku Utara memegang peranan penting sebagai basis perikanan dalam menunjang perkembangan usaha perikanan terutama penagkapan ikan yang semakin berkembang. Transhipment di bidang perikanan adalah kegiatan pindah muatan hasil tangkapan di tengah laut dan sekarang dilarang bagi kapal penangkap ikan yang ada di Indonesia.Metode pengambilan data ini dilakukan dengan menghubungi kantor PPN Ternate sebagai penyedia data. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran pengambilan data dilakukan juga wawancara langsung dengan staf pendataan pada PPN.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Ternate layak untuk dikembangkan baik dari aspek fasilitas pokok, maupun berdasarkan letak lokasi pelabuhan. Produksi ikan tuna madidihang sebelum kebijakan transhipment diberlakukan pada bulan November 2013-Oktober 2014 mencapai 306.735 ton dan nilai produksinya Rp 6.768,89 Miliar. Setelah kebijakan transhipment diberlakukan pada bulan November 2014-Oktober 2015 produksi ikan tuna madidihang mencapai 187.408 ton dan nilai produksinya Rp 4.246,70 Miliar. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan keputusan Kementerian Kelautan Perikanan mengenai transhipment tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap produksi tuna yang didaratkan di PPN Ternate. Diduga ada faktor yang lain yang memberikan pengaruh lebih terhadap penurunan produksi dan nilai ikan tuna yang didaratkan di PPN Ternate seperti pengalih bongkar muatan ke PPS Bitung dan musim penangkapan.

This study aims to find solutions to the problem of the increasing spread of unhealthysnacks that contain ingredients that are not needed by the body. This study uses naturalfood coloring that is often found but rarely known, namely coloring derived fromcoechineal insects, namely carmine, and uses extracts from betel (Piper betle Linn) as aningredient that contains antibacterial and antioxidant properties that are good for the bodybut have a smell and taste that is less liked by the current generation. Therefore, betel leafextract which has a pungent aroma is turned into candy which is a snack that is liked by allcircles. In this study, an organoleptic test was carried out on the sample to determine thelevel of preference of the samples for candy with 4 different compositions.Keywords: Carmine, Betel leaf extract, Candy, Organoleptic test.
