Significant progress has been made on inclusive education for the visually impaired but achieving its smooth implementation remains a distant goal. This is the finding of the systematic review that examines the enormous difficulties that visually impaired students encounter in inclusive education environments in different locations. This paper argues that learners may experience challenges but more often, the visually impaired are the most vulnerable and often left behind, encountering multifaceted barriers that will hamper their ability to move freely and affect their quality of life. The systematic search method was employed to determine the challenges, responsiveness, and coping mechanisms employed by the visually impaired and this study involved a systematic review of qualitative. Three search engines used were– Elicit, Research Rabbit, and Semantic Scholar- resulting in reviewing 40 articles from a keyword search. Despite the different locale of the studies, the challenges encountered by the visually impaired students were almost the same. It is however worth noting that visually impaired individuals have been coping with the challenges they face in inclusive education.

A teacher is a key resource in a school and their job satisfaction depends on their level of motivation among other factors. A study was conducted to explore the relationship between teacher motivation and job satisfaction in private primary schools in Kawempe Division, Kampala District in Uganda. The study assessed relationships between (i) extrinsic motivation and teachers’ job satisfaction; (ii) intrinsic motivation and teachers’ job satisfaction; and (iii) personal factors and teachers’ jobs. A cross-sectional survey design was employed to collect data from 88 teachers of 6 private primary schools in Kampala district. SPSS software was used to analyse the data. The study findings showed a strong positive correlation between extrinsic motivation and teacher’s job satisfaction (r=.572**, p<0.01); and intrinsic motivation and teacher’s job satisfaction (r=.694**, p<0.01). Personal factors and teachers’ job satisfaction however had a weak positive correlation (r=.244**, p<0.05). It is therefore concluded that teacher motivation has a statistically significant relationship with job satisfaction. The school administrators are therefore urged to regularly motivate teachers through the provision of teacher houses, classroom expansion, continuous appraisals, regular training, certificate awards at school assemblies and inculcation of religious values to teachers.

Technology integration in chemistry education at the university level is increasingly recognized as a transformative approach to enhance teaching methodologies and improve student learning outcomes. This abstract provides a concise overview of the impact, challenges, and future directions of technology integration based on recent studies and empirical evidence. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of integrating technology, such as virtual laboratories, simulation software, and multimedia resources, in enhancing student engagement and learning in university-level chemistry education. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including surveys and interviews with students and faculty members from multiple universities. Quantitative data from pre- and post-assessments were analyzed to assess learning outcomes, while qualitative insights were gathered to explore perceptions, challenges, and recommendations related to technology integration. Findings indicate that technology-enhanced tools significantly enhance student understanding of chemistry concepts and improve problem-solving skills. Students and faculty members perceive technology as beneficial for creating interactive and dynamic learning environments. However, challenges such as technical issues and faculty resistance require institutional support and professional development initiatives to overcome. The integration of technology in chemistry education holds promise for transforming traditional teaching practices and preparing students for careers in scientific research and industry. Future research should focus on exploring emerging technologies and innovative pedagogical strategies to further optimize technology integration in higher education.

Presently, we are in an era marked by rapid technological advancement and the increasing digitization of processes across the world, the sphere of governance stands at the height of transformative change. Traditional legislative procedures relies on bulky paper-based workflows, are now undergoing a paradigm shift toward digitalization. This transition indicates a new period of efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in the management of legislative affairs. Legislative management is the administrative and operational support of the legislative process in involving lawmaking processes and the tools that make passing legislation possible. This research explores the current digital proficiency of the users of the Legislative Management System (LMS) of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) of Baguio and its effect to their performance in the use of said system. The SP-LMS was designed in the year 2013 and was implemented in the year 2015, particularly focusing on their evolution from traditional paper-based methods to modern digital solutions. Looking deeper into the advantages inherent in this transition, the researcher seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the transformative potential this system holds for legislation in the City. Up to this date, Baguio City is the only Local Government Unit (LGU) implementing the LMS among other LGUs in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

Organizational commitment among Job Orders significantly influences workforce stability and performance in an institution like PhilHealth-CAR. This study investigates the levels of affective, continuance, and normative commitments among JOCs through a quantitative approach. The findings revealed the existence of moderate affective commitment, which is driven by a sense of belonging and a good culture at the workplace. Perceived costs drove the continuance commitment due to leaving, and normative commitment reflected ethical obligations and loyalty. These vary from improving the culture in an organization to having a stronger affective commitment to aligning leadership with the employees' values to enhance normative commitment.

The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) for computer vision analysis is a significant trend in the current scenario. UAV technology is highly utilized for various purposes, including object detection, tracking, traffic management, environment monitoring, and agriculture sector, mainly due to the ease of data collection compared to conventional remote sensing methods through satellites. This study focuses on enhancing the YOLOv5 architecture to effectively detect small targets. The modifications made to the YOLOv5 framework specifically target the architecture, resulting in improved performance in object identification. The addition of a new feature fusion layer within the feature pyramid section of YOLOv5 plays a crucial role in achieving these improvements. To maintain resolution and prevent the loss of valuable feature information in the deeper sections of the network, a lateral connection is introduced, connecting this layer to an earlier part of the network. This addition ensures that crucial details and feature data are preserved throughout the network architecture. Additionally, data augmentation techniques such as image saturation and cropping are employed.

Wheat is one of the three most important cereal crop in Nepal. It has significant nutritional value and serves as a major source of food in this country. Though various improved varieties of wheat have been released over the years, production has not been able to fulfill the demand which necessitate importation. One of the major constraints for this problem is weeds. In order to address this predominant issue, this study has been conducted to unveil the most weed resistant varieties to the surface. Varieties used were Sworgadwari, Munal, Dhawalagiri and WK-1204 in a split plot experimental design. The total number of treatments and replications was 8 and 4, respectively. The plot was categorized by main plot and sub plot. Main plot was weeding and no weeding whereas, sub plot was variety. The total area of experimental plot was 481m2. There were total 32 plots and the area of each plot was (3m*4m) 12 m2. The space between the plots was 0.5m2. The research tool used was Microsoft excel and Gene stat. From the research experiment, Sworgadwari was better in performance and more weed competitive in comparison to other varieties as it excelled in several parameters like height, spike length, grain per spike and biological yield followed by Munal exhibiting superiority over number of tillers in meter square and grain yield. Weeding exhibited high numbers in several parameters in comparison to no weeding practices.

Effective linen management is important in maintaining hygiene and comfort for patients in institutions as important as the Benguet General Hospital. This study addresses a critical research gap in hospital linen management, offering valuable insights into the challenges and best practices specific to Benguet General Hospital. By focusing on both operational efficiency and sustainability, the study contributes to the broader body of knowledge on healthcare linen management and provides practical recommendations. Through interviews with key stakeholders, this qualitative study explores the practices and challenges associated with effective Linen management at BeGH. The findings suggest that strict sorting, frequent inventory, and hygiene procedures were the critical practices at BeGH toward ensuring the availability of clean linens and reducing infection risks. Nevertheless, considering the efforts made, challenges associated with the shortage of linens during patient transfers and the inability to trace misplaced linens persist and point out the need for improved operational strategies.
