Purpose- This research examines how Ghanaian banks use change management strategies, communication, and employee involvement. The study examines the current practices, and challenges banks face when implementing these strategies and how they affect overall organizational performance. Design/methodology/approach- First, most respondents worked for banks listed on the Ghanaian stock exchange and had seven or more years of experience in the same bank. This experience is critical because it provides a solid understanding of the bank's goals and objectives, as evidenced by the high percentage of respondents who believe they understand the bank's goals and objectives. A qualitative research design was used, with in-depth semi-structured interviews with senior management and employees of the selected Ghanaian banks. The collected data were analyzed using a thematic approach to identify patterns and themes related to change management strategies, communication, and bank employee involvement. Findings- According to the results, banks face challenges in implementing change management strategies, including resistance to change, communication, and employee involvement. However, the study revealed that effective communication, employee involvement, and appropriate change management strategies could improve organizational performance and customer satisfaction. Research limitations/implications- Because the study was limited to a few banks in Ghana, the findings may not be representative of all banks in the country. The study's findings, however, have implications for organizations in Ghana and other developing countries, emphasizing the importance of effective change management strategies, communication, and employee involvement in improving organizational performance. Practical implications- The study's findings benefit banks in Ghana and other developing countries because they suggest that improving communication, employee involvement, and appropriate change management strategies can assist organizations in overcoming resistance to change and improving organizational performance. Originality- This study offers unique insights into change management strategies, communication, and employee involvement in Ghanaian banks, providing valuable information for organizations and policymakers in developing countries. The study emphasizes the importance of effective change management strategies and the role of communication and employee involvement in improving organizational performance.

One of the most common pollutants in healthcare facilities is X-ray radiation, which can seriously injure patients as well as staff members in the corresponding department if safety precautions are not taken and the risks are not sufficiently understood. To look at X-ray radiation pollution in radiology centers in Kabul, measurements were taken with Poly-Master detectors in several radiology center locations, including the control room, hallways, behind the gates, and in more than 12 radiology facilities. The dose data was then analyzed. The SPSS program was used to assess background, X-ray devices worker equivalent doses, ambient pollution, and surface pollution. The results demonstrate that, there is no surface pollution following exposure and that the background dose is typically normal. The X-ray device used by employees' equivalent dose was found to be slightly greater than the specified threshold in places where radiology criteria was not taken into account, but overall it was near to normal. The equivalent dose estimate for radiation workers indicates that, in terms of health impacts, the dosage is typically not more than the established limit and does not pose a significant risk to health. As can be seen from the spatial distribution, radiation risks are higher at sites with a higher volume of radiology services. However, these risks can be mitigated by having adequate knowledge and information about how the device operates.

Indonesia, like many developing countries, has been grappling with the issue of external debt. This study uses the Solow Growth Model approach to examine the relationship between external debt and economic growth in Indonesia. The study utilizes time-series data from 1970 to 2022. It includes Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as the dependent variable, while Debt Service, External Debt, Exports, Imports, Gross Capital Formation, and Population Growth are the independent variables. The ARDL method is used to analyse the data to determine whether there is a statistically significant relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The findings of this study reveal that External Debt, Debt Service, Exports, Imports, and Gross Capital Formation have a significant positive relationship with GDP, indicating that increased external debt can contribute to economic growth in the country. This suggests that the government can use external borrowing to increase investments, exports, and imports and ultimately drive GDP growth. These results have important implications for policymakers looking for strategies to promote economic growth in Indonesia. By focusing on measures that stimulate foreign investment, increase exports and imports, and enhance gross capital formation, policymakers can help the country move from a debt trap to economic prosperity. Using the Solow Growth Model approach, this study also provides a framework for other developing countries to examine the relationship between external debt and economic growth.

Using a qualitative exploratory methodology, within a constructivism paradigm, this study investigated the effect of a Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) project-based Learning (PjBL) with integrated elements of systems thinking model, through the affective lens of Self-Determination Theory (SDT), on participants’ self-determined behaviors at a junior high school in Antipolo City, Philippines. The research applied the theoretical perspectives of SDT and qualitatively examined its effect on students’ autonomy, competence, and relatedness. Subject narratives revealed patterns of their motivation progression on an established motivation continuum, and how the program, as designed, supported their acquisition of the various elements of self-determination after being exposed to the program. The research found out that the characteristics and nature of the model, in contrast to traditional interventions, reinforced students’ self-determination and motivation, not just in their academic outlook, but also their lived realities outside the school. Limitations, contemporary classroom implications, results, and the design of future studies are similarly discussed.
