This paper aims to describe locality satire of Minangkabau in the humorous prose of Minangkabau language by Heru Joni Putra. This research is descriptive qualitative with data in the form of words that can be formulated as locality satire of Minangkabau. This study uses an anthropological approach to explain the language, society, and culture that is told in the story. Based on the results of data identification, the locality satire of Minangkabau in Minangkabau prose by Heru Joni Putra is a critical attitude towards human behavior, political systems, culture, and so on, which is mediated by language. The criticism of these weaknesses is stated in order to remind those who are criticized to make improvements ethically and aesthetically to the things intended by the author. Wise readers will assume that literary works, including HJP's Minang humorous prose, are fictitious stories that basically do not contain only realist content. Through a pralogical and satirical way of expressing, the author as a creator has the right to convey his ideas through the creative process he does, as well as the function of journalists when writing essays, articles, or the like.

This article discusses the personal conflicts between five characters in the film Gohatto. Gohatto is a film by Japanese director, Oshima Nagisa, released in 1999. Director Oshima is one of the legendary directors in Japan who is famous for his works that elevate the uniqueness of the human personality. Likewise, with Gohatto's work, Oshima raises the fluctuation of human desires that clash with tradition and morals, and in the end meet death. The film is set in the bakumatsu era (1853-1869) and tells of the lives of swordsmen in the Shinsengumi group whose job is to protect the Tokugawa shogunate. The uniqueness of this film is that it does not exploit the heroics of samurai who express themselves under the shackles of bushido morality, but rather presents homosexuality in the lives of the swordsmen in this group. This paper will also discuss personal conflicts in five major characters, through a review of the characters’ actions based on the drive that emerge from both the conscious mind and unconscious minds. The method that will be used is psychoanalysis which refers to the theory of Sigmund Freud. The id drive which is the cause of the conflict appears dominant in the five characters and overcomes the bushido morality which is the sublime characteristic of the samurai.

Language errors often occur when communicating, both oral communication and written communication. This happens because of the lack of understanding of the communicator in delivering messages to the communicant or the author's lack of understanding in providing information to his readers. In addition, language errors also often occur due to spoken language factors, so that when applied in written language, there tend to be errors. Language errors at the semantic level still often occur in written language, especially articles in the Riau newspaper. These errors can be in the form of errors due to confused pairs, errors due to incorrect choice of words, and errors due to cognate pairs. This study uses a prescriptive content analysis method with the data source from the newspaper Koran Riau. Data is collected by means of documentation with data collection techniques including, collecting error samples, identifying errors, explaining errors, classifying errors, and evaluating or correcting errors. Based on the results and discussion, there are two errors in the language of the semantic level in the Riau Koran newspaper article. First, the fault of a confused partner.
