The age structure of groups of technological equipment at technical service enterprises has been established. Characteristics of the distribution of the existing machine-tool fleet by accuracy classes, categories, degrees of automation and specialization were obtained. The research results will make it possible to determine the paths of modernizing the production areas of technical service enterprises and predict the needs in modern technological equipment.

The article deals with the practical results of technical diagnostics of diesel fuel equipment using vibroacoustic characteristics. The authors used given diagnostic matrix, Bayesian methods and sequential analysis to calculate the effect of reducing the elasticity of the injector spring on the performance of the fuel injector and the connection of the diagnosis “increased injector spring tension” with the sign “high amplitude at a frequency of 115 Hz”.

Modern technologies for cultivating potatoes involve performing a full range of work, including preparing fields for mechanized harvesting. Harvesting potatoes on heavy and rocky soil and under difficult climatic conditions negatively affects the performance of potato harvester. To increase the efficiency and productivity of the potato harvesters, a method is proposed for preparing fields by loosening and cleaning the soil from lumps and stones. This technological approach can simplify the use of potato harvesters on heavy and rocky soils and increase their productivity.

It has been established that two independent sources of genetic material of meat chickens have been preserved, providing industrial production throughout the world, including about 95% of broiler meat in Russia. To reduce such dependence, the subprogram of the FSTP is being implemented. The analysis showed that, as part of the implementation of the subprogram, initial lines have already been created, a center for their replication has been built, the reproducers for parent forms are being built, which should ensure import substitution of up to 50% of the current level.

Combining graphs of relative maintenance costs and the forced outage factor allows us to obtain the values of the optimal period for preventive maintenance. The rationale for the use of solar power plants for agricultural enterprises is given using the example of a poultry house for 6000 birds.
