DIY Photometer for Night Sky Brightness in Earth & Space Laboratory 自制地球与空间实验室夜空亮度光度计

A photometer is a tool that can be used as a medium for learning, practicum and research to study the quality of the night sky in Astrophysics courses. The photometry practicum provides work principles, tool settings and data collection knowledge. Currently, the Earth and Space Laboratory of the Department of Physics Education has only one photometer. When used, it must be connected to a computer because there is no internal power, and it can not store data. This resulted in the photometry practicum failing to run optimally. Therefore, it is necessary to have the right solution to maintain the essence of practicum as the basis of knowledge, namely, to make your own photometer called Do It Yourself (DIY). The method used in this study is an experimental method with data collection. Starting with a needs analysis, then the design of the photometer is carried out. This was followed by making a photometer and conducting a limited trial by measuring the Night Sky Brightness (NSB). The results showed that DIY Photometer functionally has a good ability to measure the quality of the night sky. Also can show the same pattern as the measurement results using the manufacturer's SQM-LU so that the DIY Photometer that has been made can be used in photometry practicum activities in Astrophysics courses or other similar subjects.

The electrical productivity of Arabica coffee grounds battery based on electrode distance and dryness level 基于电极距离和干燥度的阿拉比卡咖啡渣电池的电生产率

Bio-battery is an alternative natural energy source that utilizes organic compounds to generate electricity. This research uses coffee grounds as an environmentally friendly electrolyte paste. This study aims to identify and analyze the current and voltage produced by the bio batteries with the durability of bio batteries made from Arabica coffee grounds based on electrode distance and dryness level. The method used is a direct measurement of coffee grounds using copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) as electrodes, further testing of the output current and voltage is carried out every 24 hours. The results showed that Arabica coffee grounds produce a maximum voltage of 1.01 V, a current of 0.49 mA and a power of 0.42 W. Based on these results, Arabica coffee grounds have the potential to be used as bio batteries.

Development of Arduino Uno-based real learning media for measuring density of objects 基于Arduino的物体密度测量实学习介质的开发

The purpose of developing Arduino Uno-based physics learning media to measure density is to determine the level of feasibility based on the assessment of media experts and material experts, as well as to determine student responses to the development of learning media carried out. This study uses the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the validation of the Arduino Uno-based physics learning media by two media experts obtained an average percentage score of 92.08% with very decent criteria and by two material expert validators obtained an average percentage score of 88, 75% with very decent criteria. Student responses to the Arduino Uno microcontroller-based physics learning media obtained an average percentage score of 84.58% with very decent criteria. The implication of this research is that teachers and students can use tools developed digitally and can compare them with manual experiments.

System analysis and testing of the benefits of online learning based on madrasah e-learning on physics subjects at MAN 2 Semarang City 基于伊斯兰学校物理课程在线学习的系统分析和测试

This study aims to analyze the application of online learning systems in Physics subjects and test the usability of online learning systems in Physics subjects at MAN 2 Semarang City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The questionnaire was created using the PIECES framework and the USE Questionnaire, modified using google forms. The research results show that implementing online learning based on e-learning madrasah has been well. All aspects, including performance, information, economics, control, efficiency, and service, show good categories. The usability test with the USE Questionnaire shows a good level of Usability or Usability in all aspects. This study indicates that the e-learning system of MAN 2 Semarang City is feasible and good to use for online learning.

Utilization of PhET simulation in flipped classroom to improve students' critical thinking skills 利用PhET模拟在翻转课堂中提高学生批判性思维能力

This research was conducted at Supra Talibura Junior High School, Sikka Regency, NTT, to determine the effect of increasing students' critical thinking skills after being given treatment using PhET Simulation in a flipped classroom setting. The trial sample used was 50 students divided into two classes. Each class was 25 people with purposive sampling. Data was collected by giving tests and questionnaires. Students are given apperception in videos a week before the learning takes place during the learning process. Giving videos aims to build students' initial learning knowledge to find out for themselves about learning topics: test t and N-gain analysis. Research results have been obtained; namely, there is an effect of using PhET from hypothesis testing and N-gain. At the same time, the results of the percentage of student response questionnaires indicate the level of student acceptance of the media used in learning.

Exploring students' argumentation skills using Instagram-based learning 利用基于instagram的学习探索学生的论证技巧

Instagram is one of the most popular social media for teenagers to get information through pictures and short videos. Instagram users often provide comments in response to the information obtained. Instagram can be used in online-based learning during the Covid 19 pandemic. This study aims to explore students' argumentation skills using Instagram-based learning and measure student satisfaction responses in using Instagram as a learning medium. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. Respondents used in this study were 25 students of SMA Multazam IBS Semarang. The results of the study that obtained argumentation skills after learning to use Instagram were 56.13 with the indicator giving support getting the largest value of 82.00 and refutation having the smallest value of 44.00. The percentage of students who argue is 76%. Student responses to learning using Instagram 53% strongly agree, 40% agree, 6% disagree, the remaining 1% disagree.

Identifikasi penggunaan EDP (Engineering Design Process) dalam berpikir engineer siswa SMA melalui Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) 确定高中工程设计理论中使用的EDP(学生工作表)

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah peran EDP dalam proses berpikir engineer siswa melalui LKS sebagai bahan ajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus tunggal. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji kredibilitas menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan member check . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan profil berpikir engineer masing-masing siswa berbeda-beda. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan siswa dapat memberikan pemecahan masalah hingga memberikan desain solusi pada sintaks EDP. Siswa memberikan pemecahan masalah terjadi dalam sintaks EDP pada ruang lingkup masalah yaitu tahap define, dan learn . Sedangkan pada tahap plan, try, Abstract. This study aims to determine how the role of EDP in the thinking process student’s engineers through student worksheets as teaching materials. This type of research is qualitative using a single case study method. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. Test using triangulation technique and member check. The results of this study show that each student’s engineering thinking profile is different. The data obtained shows that students can solve problems to provide design solutions to the EDP syntax. Students provide solutions to problems that occur in the EDP syntax in the scope of the problem, namely the definition and learn stages. While at the stage of the plan, try, test, and decide students can generate ideas that are used as problem-solving solutions in the form of engineering designs by providing a clear explanation of how the solution can work optimally for use.

Uji kredibilitas menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan member check . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan profil berpikir engineer masing-masing siswa berbeda-beda. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan siswa dapat memberikan pemecahan masalah hingga memberikan desain solusi pada sintaks EDP. This type of research is qualitative using a single case study method. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. Test using triangulation technique and member check. The results of this study show that each student’s engineering thinking profile is different. The data obtained shows that students can solve problems to provide design solutions to the EDP syntax. Students provide solutions to problems that occur in the EDP syntax in the scope of the problem, namely the definition and learn stages. Penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik SMAN 1 Kembang 扩展基于问题的学习模式,以提高学生在SMAN 1开发中的学习成果

. This study aims to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of students using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted online through Google Meet and Whatsapp Group for two cycles. The research activities include planning, implementation, observation/evaluation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIPA-3 SMAN 1 Kembang. Data collection techniques using tests and interviews are then analyzed qualitatively. The results obtained are that in Cycle I there are 57% of students who reach the criteria of completeness and an increase in Cycle II as much as 77% of students who have achieved the criteria of completeness. The increase in the criteria for completeness can occur because the teacher provides interesting motivation so that students are more focused on participating in learning. Then, the teacher monitors the activities of students in groups and coordinates students to contribute to the group. In addition, it also provides additional time for presentation of the results of the discussion so that students can discuss again if there are differences of opinion. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students in class X MIPA-3 SMA N 1 Kembang.

Pengembangan media pembelajaran fisika berbantuan javascript pada materi pokok listrik statis 利用javascript对静态主题的物理学习媒体开发

. This research is motivated by the application of Industry Revolution 4.0 that demands ICT-based learning, which uses computer-based learning media specifically in the physics learning process so it makes it easy for learners to understand the concept of abstract physics. The study aims to design a physics learning media on a static electricity subject using JavaScript and verify its validity and practicality. This research is a Research and Development method developed by Borg and Gall but it is limited to only five stages. Its results are; First, JavaScript can easily be used to design a physics learning media on the subject of static electricity because the language is open source, high-level language, offering ease and flexibility. Second, results of validity analysis using the index proposed by Aiken stated that the results of the validity of Material Experts have shown an average score of "0.82" categorized as "Very High" and "0.78" on "High" category from IT/Media Experts. Third, limited result tests shown the percentage of learner's response by 86.56% on the "Excellent" category, and the educator's response obtained an average of 3.42 in the "Good" category. We concluded that "physics learning media development on the subject of static electricity using JavaScript" has successfully become a learning medium with valid and practically used as a learning medium.
