Metagenome-assembled genomes of bacterial communities in the eastern Southwest Indian Ridge, Indian Ocean. 印度洋西南印度洋海岭东部细菌群落的宏基因组组装基因组。

This paper presents high-quality metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) recovered from hydrothermal plume at the 67.67°E vent field along the eastern Southwest Indian Ridge. A total of 24 high-quality MAGs were obtained having 21 different genera. These MAGs, associated with chemosynthetic pathways including methane, metal, and sulfur metabolism, offer crucial insights into microbial transformation in deep-sea hydrothermal vents.

We report the whole-genome sequence of Bacillus subtilis strain NGII isolated from the rhizospheric soil. Genomic insights deepen understanding of the strain's potential as a biostimulant in plant protection. Sequencing and assembly yielded a 4.1 Mb genome for B. subtilis NGII with an average GC content of 43.5%.

We present the draft genome sequences of 19 Psychrobacter spp. isolated from the skin of Atlantic salmon raised in flow-through systems in Atlantic Canada. All of these salmon survived winter cold stress with or without clinical symptoms (lesions).

A strain from the Bacillus group isolated from rice that produced excessive biofilm on glass was identified as Bacillus pacificus. This strain has operons related to biofilm production in Bacillus cereus, such as sipW-tasA-calY and eps1, which may explain the biofilm formation.
