O sistema publico de saude brasileiro tem por principio a igualdade de acesso. No entanto, nao sao poucas as desigualdades em sua pratica. Partindo da premissa de que surgem da hierarquizacao das diferencas entre os sujeitos, este artigo se dispoe a refletir sobre a importância da interseccionalidade entre raca, classe e genero quando a tematica e a saude sexual e reprodutiva das brasileiras. Com esse foco, destaca como essa articulacao analitica pode descortinar processos cotidianos discriminatorios. Para tanto, considera a etnografia de dois servicos de saude de Brasilia; entrevistas com gestores de saude local e federal e, por fim, blogs e plataformas feministas negras operantes na internet. Dessa maneira, procura compreender como o corpo negro feminino e pensado pelas mulheres assistidas, pelos profissionais de saude, gestores de politicas publicas e feministas negras.

This article aims to discuss the functioning of the first Brazilian AIDS Mortality Committee based mainly on the concept of readability of Scott. Based on ethnographic observations and in-depth interviews with the members of the Committee, held in 2014-15, the processes of governance and public policy formulation in the newly created institutional space of the Committee are discussed. The members of the Committee, in relationships that may be collaborative or divergent, use different tools to map and document the processes that resulted in a preventable and early death of people living with AIDS in Porto Alegre, RS. The legible trajectory of patients on the margins of the State allows for the formulation of recommendations of the Committee on the functioning of health services, but does not assure suggestions of more direct and direct actions on the social conditions that engender the marginal situation of those who died.

Brazil has been experiencing a growing process of socialization in the management of old age, which has become a public issue. Within this process there is also the increasingly growing phenomenon of the feminization of old age. In this article, we discuss how the demands of older women are built and represented in the spaces of social participation that are part of the decision-making process of public policies targeted at women and the elderly. From the problematic of a possible depoliticization of the elderly women, the guiding question here is: "How are the elderly women represented in the deliberations of the national conferences of Politics for Women and Rights of the Elderly? From the documents analyzed with the qualitative feminist content analysis method, four main axes were evidenced, in relation to the elderly women: demographic, health, care and intersectional.

The theme of assisted housing is recent in both public debates and Brazilian legislation. With an ethnographic work carried out in the city of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, together with mothers of adults with cognitive disabilities who organized themselves as a movement to fight for the cause of assisted living, I propose, in this work, a reflection on disability and care from your practices and speeches. After all, in seeking other arrangements than the family, these women bring up and are subjected to judgments that say a lot about the disability experience. I focus, therefore, my analysis on the tensions, controversies and moral charges that permeate this litigation, in order to draw attention to the ways in which its trajectories are permeated by regimes in which both deficiency and care work are devalued. I argue, finally, that discussions about the promotion of rights, autonomy and independence of people with disabilities should be accompanied by a reflection about the experience of caregivers, especially mothers. An experience that allows a better understanding of the ways in which cognitive deficiency is dealt with in, in and by our society.

Considering the centrality that the notion of relatedness or relationality (Carsten, 2000 and 2004) have acquired in contemporary research that deals with family and kinship, as well as the important analytical yields of the notion of care (HIRATA and GUIMARAES, 2012), we propose to make a balance on the relations between gender, care and families, having as a guiding line our own academic trajectories as researchers in these fields of study. We argue that the discussion of care may be in line with the recent debates around family / kinship as relationality, since it brings to the fore the dimensions of affections, reciprocities as well as the dimensions of class, race, generation, and intertwining between family , market and State.

The objective of this article is to analyze how the processes of globalization of the contemporary world that permeate daily life have repercussions on the construction of individual and collective identities from the phenomena that occur between interstate borders, such as the circulation and control of the flows of people. It carries out a bibliographic review which mainly prioritizes some approaches on the emergence of new identity configurations and the intensification of the movement of people within the territorial borders, relating these two issues to the dimension of immigration control laws. From an interpretation supported by some cosmopolitan perspectives, he considers that such a context of transnational space, in which multiple possibilities of identity configuration occur, is marked by a tension between the nationalist perspective of politics, which operates in the legal and institutionalized domain, and the reality of the experiences and conflicts between the various worlds that intersect.

The article presents reflections about the theme care and family considering the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren. It explores the way in which the justice system produces rules and seeks to discipline this relationship in a context marked by the constitution of new subjects of rights, backed by specific statutes such as the Statute of the Child and Adolescent and the Statute of the Elderly. Based on a qualitative analysis of judicial decisions as well as news published by the media on the subject, a plethora of values are presented in which the laws and avoenga food responsibility are interpreted according to specific situations, marked by arenas of conflicts involved in the attribution of the duty of the grandparents of food provision. This is to show how the politicization of justice in guaranteeing the rights of groups considered as dependent and discriminated leads to a process of judicialization of relations between relatives.

O objetivo deste artigo e analisar a diversificacao de posicoes sociais concomitantes com os cargos dentro do espaco politico . Neste sentido, elencou-se um universo de pesquisa com 235 casos que tivessem ligacao com atividades economicas e que tambem desempenhassem a funcao de Deputado Federal, entre 1990 e 2010, no Brasil. As informacoes permitiram categorizar: a longevidade das carreiras politicas, a posse de patrimonios economicos, os recursos escolares disponiveis e as logicas das apresentacoes ocupacionais e profissionais condicionadas por estes recursos anteriores. Por fim, foi possivel demonstrar que existe uma estrategia de reproducao social , fundada nesta diversificacao e mobilizacao de recursos como trunfos sociais , ou seja, a logica destes casos nao e se fechar no espaco politico , mas sim ocupar diferentes posicoes em espacos distintos para alem da politica.

The municipality of Campinas is recognized for its mental health care network built in partnership with the Dr. Cândido Ferreira Health Service (SSCF). The anthropological literature on research ethics points to a relation of submission of the way of doing ethnography to the biomedical norms that base the evaluation of researches of the human sciences in health institutions. The objective of the article is to show the authorization process for the realization of my field research in the Residential Therapeutic Service (SRT), managed by the SSCF. With this, I present the current problematic about research ethics, the negotiations of the beginning of my field research and how the production of an anthropological knowledge is implied in an ethical relationship with the research interlocutors.

The ethics of care emerged, in the 1980s, as a feminist reference for the understanding of care in our societies. Throughout this text I analyze how the care ethics provides an inadequate theoretical framework for the analysis of care work, and I try to offer some clues for a more appropriate understanding of the theme. To this end, I place the work of care at the center of discussions on social inequalities and power relations, and I turn to intersectional empirical research on the subject.
