The documentary Martirio (2017) directed by Vicent Carelli and co-directed by Ernesto de Carvalho and Tatiana Almeida focuses on narrating to the viewer the effects and transformations of this event, in the sense elaborated by Stengers (2002) in the lives of the Kaiowa and Guarani in Mato Grosso do Sul. O descaso induzido: o desterro dos Tapayuna e dos Panará 诱导的忽视:Tapayuna和panara的流放

O presente artigo tem como finalidade analisar a trajetoria do contato e remocao compulsoria, no periodo da Ditadura Militar (1964-1985), de dois povos indigenas de lingua je: os Tapayuna e os Panara. O contato de ambos os povos com as frentes de expansao no estado do Mato Grosso, entre as decadas de 1950 e 1970, teve um impacto nefasto em suas vidas. Eles foram vitimas de processos genocidas, etnocidas e de espoliacao territorial. Foram removidos compulsoriamente para o Parque Indigena do Xingu: os Tapayuna foram transferidos em 1970, os Panara em 1975. Apos 22 anos, os Panara lograram retornar a uma porcao de seu antigo territorio. Os Tapayuna de hoje se espelham no processo panara, pleiteando o reconhecimento do esbulho sofrido e a reconquista de sua autonomia territorial. O texto apresenta os eventos vividos por cada povo e discute as possibilidades de uma justica de reparacao no pais.

Da TV à segunda tela: Análise comparativa das estratégias empregadas pelos candidatos a prefeito de Curitiba no horário eleitoral e nos websites em 2012 从电视到第二屏幕:2012年库里蒂巴市长候选人在选举时间和网站上的策略比较分析

O artigo tem como objetivo verificar se existem proximidades ou diferencas no conteudo disponibilizado em dois espacos distintos de campanha eleitoral: nos websites de candidatos e no Horario Gratuito de Propaganda Eleitoral (HGPE). Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, optou-se por fazer um estudo de caso sobre as eleicoes municipais de Curitiba, em 2012. A metodologia empregada e a analise quantitativa de conteudo e parte-se da hipotese de que os conteudos disponibilizados nos dois espacos sao distintos, o que da a ideia de independencia entre os diferentes meios de campanha. Os resultados mostraram que parte da hipotese se confirma, mas que existem pontos de aproximacao entre os dois espacos, como deixar de lado a formacao da imagem do candidato e procurar abordar o cenario da campanha.
本文旨在验证候选人网站和选举宣传免费时间(HGPE)这两个不同的竞选活动空间提供的内容是否相似或不同。为了开展研究,我们选择了2012年库里蒂巴市选举的案例研究。所使用的方法和内容的定量分析是基于两个空间中可用的内容是不同的假设,这给了不同媒体活动之间的独立性的想法。结果表明,部分假设得到了证实,但这两个空间之间有一些相似之处,比如抛开候选人形象的形成,试图接近竞选场景。

O Território Terena: Da Expropriação E Formação Das Reservas Ao Movimento Das Retomadas Terena领土:从征收和储备的形成到恢复运动

At the end of the 19th century, waves of extractive and agropastoral colonization intensified in the south of the former state of Mato Grosso, present-day Mato Grosso do Sul. For the Terena, this process resulted in the expropriation of territories of traditional occupation, in the compulsory recruitment of men and women as labor in private enterprises, and in the gradual loss of political autonomy of the communities. In the early twentieth century, reserves were created, with areas much smaller than traditionally occupied lands. Even so, the Terena reorganized themselves in these spaces, and, at the end of the 20th century, taking advantage of the process of redemocratization of Brazilian society, they started to lead new forms of claiming the demarcation of their traditional territories. In this new context, it is evident the warrior awakening, which starts to live side by side with diplomatic conduct, which until then characterized the way of being tender. The warrior awakening is marked by an increasing participation of women, also warriors, expanding female participation in public spaces and in the political sphere.

“As leis são uma invenção”: Por uma racionalidade epistêmica protagonizada pelos Akrãtikatêjê (Gavião da Montanha) “法律是一种发明”:由akratkateje(山鹰)领导的认识论理性

Este trabalho opera com algumas categorias para problematizacao do Estado a partir de dados etnograficos sobre os Akratikateje, trazendo a tona as contribuicoes de uma antropologia que dialoga com a possibilidade de um rompimento epistemico. Para tanto, sao necessarias algumas reflexoes que nos apontem para esse caminho, entendendo a efetiva participacao dos sujeitos que estao acumulando experiencias em suas trajetorias de luta, dando sentido ao lugar de pertencimento e expressando as implicacoes que o Estado traz atraves de sua forma de atuacao desencadeada pelos processos de colonizacao.

This article narrates, through official and written sources, the debris of the Maraiwatsede dos Xavante Indigenous Land that was privatized and transformed into the agricultural company Suia Missu in the 1960s. The colonizing businessman Ariosto da Riva acquired an area of more than 695 thousand hectares, sold to him or to third parties, by the state of Mato Grosso itself, who was aware of the presence of the Xavante in the commercialized area. The Federal Government, through the SPI, supported the removal of the Xavante from the area, including supplying FAB planes. These actions, both by the State and Federal Government, took place during a period of “expansion of the agricultural frontier”, with incentives to the private sector, through tax incentives and financing, as in the case of Suia Missu, which in addition to exploiting labor Xavante also expropriated its lands in 1966.

O Marco Temporal para demarcação de Terras Indígenas, memória e esquecimento 土著土地划界、记忆与遗忘的时间框架

Today, indigenous peoples have constitutionally guaranteed their original right to the lands they traditionally occupy, endorsing the institute of indigenate. However, the Supreme Federal Court has been restricting this right by establishing the so-called time frame for demarcation of indigenous lands and, more recently, the Executive with the approval of the AGU Opinion, which intends to link the entire Federal Public Administration to this understanding. These actions contradict the conclusions of the National Truth Commission, which pointed to a systematic picture of forced evictions and expulsions in the period preceding the 1988 Constitution and neglect the transitional mechanisms for the restoration of truth and the rescue of memory, representing the implementation of true forgetfulness policy by the Brazilian State.

Remoções forçadas de grupos indígenas no Brasil Republicano 在共和巴西强制驱逐土著群体

Em 2017 completam-se 50 anos da conclusao do Relatorio Figueiredo, um extenso conjunto documental produzido durante o regime militar (1964-1985) pelo procurador Jader Figueiredo Correia, em atencao ao pedido do ministro do Interior, general Afonso Augusto de Albuquerque Lima. Nesta importantissima fonte para diversos tipos de pesquisa constam, cruamente expostos, varios relatos de acoes genocidas promovidas contra comunidades indigenas. Sao atividades que marcam profundamente a historia recente do Brasil, sobretudo a politica indigenista oficial em parte do periodo republicano. Todos os tomos do Relatorio ultrapassam a 7 mil paginas, nas quais plasmam relatos de massacres, esbulhos, arrendamentos ilicitos de terras, intimidacoes, ameacas, torturas, envenenamentos, estupros, assassinatos, trabalho escravo, fraudes e roubos do patrimonio indigena, dentre outras formas de violencia promovida contra os povos originarios. Os crimes aconteceram em todo o territorio nacional, de Norte a Sul, e os fatos revelam muito sobre a origem da propriedade privada da terra em vastas extensoes do Brasil e o enriquecimento de certas elites locais.

Marcelo Zelic, active defender of indigenous rights, with intense participation during the work of the National Truth Commission, was in Curitiba in May 2017, at the event promoted by the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology at the Federal University of Parana (MAE / UFPR), during the 15th Museum Week. The motto suggested by IBRAM (Brazilian Institute of Museums) was to say the unspeakable in museums, from which, locally, the theme developed was precisely violence against indigenous peoples. Thus Marcelo's participation was fully justified. Helpful, always crowded with documents on his electronic supports, which he generously distributed, Marcelo also shared his ideas with us, in the interview that is published here.
