Poverty has made millions of people unable to get a quality education, difficulties in financing health care, lack of savings and no investment, lack of access to public services, lack of employment opportunities, lack of social security and protection for families, increased migration flows to cities, and more severe, poverty causes millions of people to meet their limited needs for food, clothing and boards. Social welfare problems that are currently developing indicate that there are citizens whose rights to their basic needs have not been properly fulfilled because they have not received social services from the state. Thus, social welfare development, as well as development in general, cannot be carried out by the government alone. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the Family Hope Program assistance fund can improve people's welfare in Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is to use qualitative methods. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the assistance from the Family Hope Program had not been comprehensive and the level of poverty in Bandar Lampung City was not yet complete.

Many companies do tax avoidance in order to decrease the tax burden. Tax avoidance can be done in various ways. This research is to discover the impact of return on assets, firm size, and firm leverage on tax avoidance, partially and simultaneously. The author uses data collection methods by utilizing secondary data from the oil and gas companies’ financial statements which can be downloaded on the website. The research data was processed using analysis of multiple regression, and Eviews. This research reveals that simultaneously firm size, return on assets, and leverage have a significant and positive effect on tax avoidance. This research also shows that the company's leverage significantly gives an effect on tax avoidance activities. It means that the higher the leverage of a firm, it will affect the company's ability to avoid its taxes. Meanwhile, firm size and return on assets partially gives no effect on tax avoidance activities.

This research aims to analyze how much motivation students have towards entrepreneurship and find out what factors are related to and influence motivation towards entrepreneurship among students. The method used in this study is a quantitative analysis method using primary data. The primary data was obtained from data collection by distributing questionnaires with a total sample of 120 students. Data analysis techniques in this study used instrument and classic assumption test, descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and multivariate analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the empirical mean value is greater than the theoretical mean value for each variable (50.60 > 39), so descriptive analysis can interpret that the entrepreneurial motivation of Suherman Medika University students tends to be good. Furthermore, the results of the factor analysis in this study obtained a Kaiser Meyer Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy (KMO MSA) value of 0.661 > 0.50 and Bartlett's Test of Sphericity value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that the variables referred to in this study did not correlate with one another in the population. In addition, based on factor analysis found that self-efficacy, attitudes and social support are factors that influence entrepreneurial motivation. Then, the results of the multivariate test show that the significance value for Pillai's trace, Wilk's lambda, Hotelling trace, and Rpy's largest root is less than 0, which means that there is a partial effect on self-efficacy, attitudes, and social support on entrepreneurial motivation. Based on multivariate testing, it shows that the value of the self-efficacy determination coefficient is 0.740, Attitude determination coefficient value of 0.811, and the value of the Social Support determination coefficient is 0.536. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that later both institutions, student organizations and the campus environment will be able to facilitate student needs better.

The method used in this study is a quantitative analysis method using primary data. The primary data was obtained from data collection by distributing questionnaires with a total sample of 120 students. Data analysis techniques in this study used instrument and classic assumption test, descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and multivariate analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the empirical mean value is greater than the theoretical mean value for each variable (50.60 > 39), so descriptive analysis can interpret that the entrepreneurial motivation of Suherman Medika University students tends to be good. Furthermore, the results of the factor analysis in this study obtained a Kaiser Meyer Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy (KMO MSA) value of 0.661 > 0.50 and Bartlett's Test of Sphericity value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that the variables referred to in this study did not correlate with one another in the population. In addition, based on factor analysis found that self-efficacy, attitudes and social support are factors that influence entrepreneurial motivation. Then, the results of the multivariate test show that the significance value for Pillai's trace, Wilk's lambda, Hotelling trace, and Rpy's largest root is less than 0, which means that there is a partial effect on self-efficacy, attitudes, and social support on entrepreneurial motivation. Based on multivariate testing, it shows that the value of the self-efficacy determination coefficient is 0.740, Attitude determination coefficient value of 0.811, and the value of the Social Support determination coefficient is 0.536. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that later both institutions, student organizations and the campus environment will be able to facilitate student needs better.","PeriodicalId":194186,"journal":{"name":"J-MAS (Jurnal Manajemen dan Sains)","volume":"139 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121617335","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
