Online learning during the pandemic makes students less understanding of mathematical concepts so that student learning outcomes decrease when learning is again carried out face-to-face. Therefore we need an approach that is able to make students understand mathematical concepts through meaningful experiences without depending on the teacher. Then the problem-based learning approach was chosen and carried out by means of group discussions. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research conducted through three cycles whose cycle has 1 meeting. The subject of this research are 10 students of class XI TKRO 1 of SMK Karya Bhakti Pusdikpal Cimahi. The data was collected by using a test and then analyzed using percentage techniques with a limit of 85% reached the lower achievement criteria which is 75. The results showed that mathematics learning, could improve student mathematics learning outcome. The average value of the final test given in each cycle has increased. The average value of the final test of mathematics learning outcomes for student in cycle I was 75,6; in cycle II was 82, and in cycle III was 85,3. So it can be concluded that the use of the Problem-Based Learning approach can improve student learning outcomes.

The question is in the form of a description test on the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic which shows that most students have difficulty answering questions about mathematical logic material, this underlies the research. This problem occurs because students do not understand the existing statements and the concept of determining the truth value of a compound statement. The purpose of the research is to find out more about students' mistakes when answering mathematical description questions through analysis and description of some students' mistakes when answering questions on mathematical logic material, therefore this study uses descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were students of class XI OTKP (Office Automation and Governance) at one of the Vocational High Schools in Cimahi with a total of 18 students. The stages in this research are planning, implementation, and reporting. The results of the student description test of three questions were used to collect data. The analysis technique used is data reduction, presenting the data and then drawing conclusions. The results and discussion of this study indicate an average of 33.33% of students with low abilities. The percentage of student errors is 44.44% with moderate criteria and 22.22% with low criteria.

The limitations of distance learning are thought to cause students to have difficulty understanding mathematics, especially statistics. This study aims to analyze the impact of distance learning on students' conceptions of statistical material. An exploratory case study was used in this study, with a single case and single analysis. In this study, students had difficulty in solving statistical problems during distance learning, while a single analysis was used to examine the factors causing difficulties from the impact of distance learning. The research subjects were 68 students in two class XII AKL at one State Vocational School in Karawang Regency. Test and non-test instruments were used in this study, five questions were explained in statistics material and structured interviews about the impact of distance learning. The indicator of difficulty on statistical questions with high criteria concluded that 73% of students had difficulty in explaining ideas, situations, and mathematical relationships orally and in writing on statistical material. This is because students find it difficult to understand the material, explain and analyze the data given in the problem or problem. These findings were obtained as a result of the lack of direct learning interaction in mathematical activities when online or offline.

Students often answer the question given by the teacher in a trial manner, in which when answering the question of students not understanding the question first, on the reason that the problem given is different from the problem studied so that the student assumes that math lessons are hard to understand and make the head dizzy, because it causes the obtained results to be wrong. Therefore, the study aims to describe the potential mathematical solution of class VIII MTs students in assembly material at one of the schools in the khanebic district. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The data analysis technique used was an interactive model of miles and hubermans. The subject used in the study is an eighth grader of 15 students taken under temptive sampling. The test instrument used is to describe the problem-solving and non-tes ability by conducting an interview. Results from the study indicate that the ability to solve a student's mathematical problem falls into three categories, with 26.7% of the student is high, 133% are moderate and 60% are low. The results suggest that students' capacity for mathematical problem solving is relatively low, which means there are several indicators of an optimum problem solving capability.

The significant influence of the Covid-19 pandemic on the education sector has changed the learning process from face-to-face to online learning. One of the tools used in optimizing the online learning process is the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS). Students' perception of moodle becomes data that is analyzed and interpreted during online learning of mathematics. There are 18 question items distributed via google form using a semantic differential scale of 1-7. Several aspects are examined from the questionnaire, including affective, cognitive and behavioural elements to students in SMP X, data analysis technique by calculating the average of each statement item with the criteria of an average score of <5 Negative response and an average score of 5 then the indicator has a positive response. In addition, the total percentage of students who fill out each indicator is also analyzed to compare the proportions. The data obtained from this study include the affective element of students choosing the benefits of LMS Moodle on a scale of 5-7 by 76%. From the cognitive element of students' perceptions, from 5-7, as many as 68% of students were motivated to learn to use the Moodle LMS during the Covid-19 pandemic. And from the behavioural aspect, 82% of students choose from a scale of 5-7 they choose the emergence of learning independence when using this Moodle LMS.
