This paper is concerned with robust stability of linear sampled-data control systems with time-varying delay. Through using an input-delay approach, the system is transformed into a continuous time-delay system within a sampling period. A delay-dependent robust stability criteria is presented and sufficient conditions for the existence of state-feedback controller are obtained in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, the numerical example is given to illustrated the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this work, polyaniline - copper (PANI-Cu) and polyaniline/polyacrylic acid - copper (PANI/PAA-Cu) composites were synthesized by electrical explosion of wire (EEW) in the liquid. The PANI and PAA polymers in ethanol were stirred for 24 hrs. and sonicated for 2 hrs. The polymer solutions used as a liquid for explosion process to fabricate the Cu nanoparticle. X-ray diffraction (XRD) results of the composites showed that the Cu was polycrystal. Field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) was used to observe the microstructure of the composites. The PANI particles were in round shape and covered on the as-prepared Cu nanoparticles. The Cu nanoparticles were spherical and dispersed well in the polymer matrix. Crystalline size of the Cu nanoparticles was about 25nm. The obtained composites were extensively characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and electrical measurements.

Rare earth luminescent materials have become the main materials in information display, light engineering and here we describe a new approach to prepare the KMLaPO4: Ce, Tb. We take the X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrometer to study the structure and the morphology and elemental component, TG-DTA also used to investigate the sinter process. Our results indicate that the substitute of K+ and M2+ to La3+ can not change the structure of monocline. The SEM shows flaky morphology with average size about 1µm. The optical results suggest that KxMgxLa0.6−xPO4: Ce, Tb has highest photoluminescence intensity (PL), and the PL increase with the concentration of K+ and M2+ ions.

A physiological status and environmental condition monitoring system has been proposed to guard the aged-people who always live alone in this paper. The system includes sensor modules that can acquire the status of people living alone or empty nesters; the wireless transmission module passes the processed data from sensors which are space-distribution to the central unit. When the aged is under unusual condition, GSM alarm module timely acts on the basis of various alarm categories, and sends the alarm message which contains positioning information to the relatives of the aged or the health care. An interface which consists of LCD screen and keypad has been designed and programmed for the aged to use conveniently. In addition, a tumble decision algorithm based on acceleration sensor has also been present by experiments, which can improve the identification successity of the aged peoples' status, especially who is in danger.

With GDP per capita growing steadily in China's large and medium cities, credit consumption steps into its rapid growth period. Base on an analysis of current bank card business model and its data processing flow, a novel operation model—dual-account card model is proposed. This model is a financial transaction security solution with good usability. To be compatible with current bank card system, it also enjoys a low upgrading cost. Dual-account card model allows 2 accounts in 1 card: the basic account is an income account; the external account is an expenditure account and the only account at risk. In an case study, some credit cards with their transaction records are randomly selected to build a data cube, in which, 5 customer groups with notable features are found by clustering. For each group, a new operating strategy is proposed to make this business more profitable.

A technique based on infrared images acquisition from infrared thermal imaging technology combined visible-light images for image segmentation is introduced. Under the same hardware (infrared camera) acquisition devices captured the same point of the visible-light images and infrared images. The infrared image is used LOG operator to be objective edge. Then gets the original boundary to the larger lattice re-sampling, purpose to eliminate affected with infrared images by noise and ignores the breakpoints edge, the boundary chain code can be shorter. The boundary pixel record with 8 directions chain code. Use the chain code with the visible-light image from the same point of view for image segmentation. Thus, it can get the region of interest (ROI). Use to characteristics of infrared images low-resolution and less information, but sharp change on the edge. Ignore deal on the internal details of the object-region and focus to object-boundary. Use to characteristics of visible-light images color and texture information. Experimental results demonstrate that the Infrared images and visible-light images combined for image segmentation is effective and efficient.

During rover lunar exploration missions (such as China's “Chang'e”), rovers are required to move autonomously on the loose lunar soil. Control methods based on the rigidity hypothesis can hardly be expected to satisfy these requirements practically so wheel-soil interaction mechanics should be taken into account. The currently used integral model based on wheel-soil interaction mechanics, however, is complicated, and it cannot be directly applied to the design of a lunar rover's controller. This paper presents a new simplified method of determining the wheel-soil interaction of lunar rovers by introducing a normal stress factor and the ratio of the forward region to the rear region, based on an analysis of the integral model and lunar soil parameters. As an example, numerical analysis is performed for a lunar rover wheel with a width of 165 mm and a radius of 135 mm. Based on a slip ratio as high as 0.4 and an entrance angle that varies from 10° to 40°, the results show that the maximum errors of the model for the calculation of normal force and drawbar pull force are less than 2%, while the maximum error of resistance torque is approximately 5%. When designing a rover's controller, the relationship between the driving torque of wheel T and the drawbar pull of wheel FDP is T = FDPr according to the rigidity hypothesis, a relationship that contradicts the terramechanics model. The proposed simplified model, which is verified by experiments, provides an important basis for the design of a control algorithm for a lunar rover that takes into account lunar wheel-soil interaction mechanics.

A wind power generation control strategy, which is suitable for transmitting power to the grid, is proposed in allusion to the unstable characteristic of the output power. This control strategy captures wind power from a vertical axis wind turbine(VAWT), and a back-to-back PWM converter is applied to control the output power from permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) in order to make sure the wind power can be transmitted to the grid safely. Due to the characteristic of the traditional control method that the power factor is not the optimal by the side of motor, this paper presents a control method of unit power factor, so that the voltage and the current are controlled to the same phase by the side of motor as well as the voltage and the current are controlled to the opposite phase by the side of power grid in order to ensure the output reactive power is zero. The simulation results based on Simulink validates the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

Multi-channel media access control (MAC) now has been well understood in wireless sensor network (WSN) with the development of sensor device which is equipped with a single half-duplex transceiver with multiple-frequency support. However, peer-to-peer WSN causes much attention by researchers, while it is not suitable for lots of practical applications. In this paper, a new design of multi-channel MAC special for cluster-tree WSN, a typical asymmetric network, is introduced. Cluster-tree WSN has many special features in nodes distribution and data direction. According to these features, phase hopping (control channel and data channel coexist) is used to achieve multi-channel assignment and channel switch and time division multiple address (TDMA) mechanism is utilized to avoid data collision in the period of nodes' communication. The simulation results show that the scheme presented has advantages in providing higher maximum effective data transmission and smaller average packet delay and reducing energy consumption.
