The using of solar energy is very vital for ecological architecture. At present, the rich solar energy in China has not been brought into fully application in most cities. The investigation indicates that the application of solar energy technology in construction is a very efficient method, and we can make full use of solar energy technology by initiative means and passive means.

In this paper, according to the characteristic of blood flow in microvasculature, a method is employed to track cell movement using histogram enhancement, threshold segmentation and updated template match in image sequences. In order to calculate blood flow, the updated template matching method is applied to image sequences. The experimental result indicates that this method can accurately track movement of inner cell mass and estimate the motion of blood flow as well.

In the paper, polyimide/Multi-walled carbon nano-tubes hybrid films were prepared from polyamide acid precursor and Multi-walled carbon nano-tubes (MWNTs) through ultrasonic blending and in-situ polymerization. The surface morphology of the films was characterized by SEM. The influence of MWNTs on the electrical property was researched, which showed that with the increasing content of MWNTs, the volume resistivity declined. The corona-resistance of the hybrid films was higher than the pure polyimide films which time was 4h. When the doping content of MWNTs was near to 0.34wt%, the time of corona-resistance reached the maximum of 7.75h.

Hafei SaiBao ISG hybrid electric car is taken as the research object, on the basis of analyzing system configuration and operating mode, vehicle controller based on torque-sharing strategy is designed through the fuzzy algorithm design, variety of operating modes such as engine start-stop, hybrid-driven, engine independent drive and energy feedback are realized. Test results of prototype show that vehicle controller can meet the requirements of control function for ISG hybrid electric vehicle in variety of working modes.

Stock price prediction is a challenging problem in the machine learning area due to a great noise in the stock market. In this paper, we propose a novel stock prediction method based on a multilayer feedforward neural network. To reduce the effect of noisy trends, it employs the piecewise linear representation which transforms the original time series of the stock price and the trading volume into a set of time segments. The transformed information is served as the input variables in the neural network for prediction. We tested the proposed method annually from 2001 to 2009. It showed a good performance of about 55% accuracy on average in predicting the price direction. It was also successful in making more profit than the buy-and-hold trading strategy.

A novel theoretical analysis and a practical technique to model the reflected wave in PWM ASD-Motors is present. This technique could be used to evaluate the risk of motor insulation deterioration due to over-voltages in ASD system. It concerns especially lower or higher than 2pu over-voltages at motor terminals caused by the PWM switching patterns. It is shown that, theoretical peak voltage of 3pu and 5pu may be reached for some switching conditions with long motor leads. The simulation that PWM switching patterns result in lower or higher than 2pu over-voltages at motor terminals is validated by PSpice software.

Transformer failure makes the power system blackout,and the number of transformer failures is very large every year. Finding the spread source of transformer brittleness can avoid the transformer failures. In this paper, the method and step of building the brittle model based on the chart theory are brought forward. Building a model of 7 nodes to transformer and analyze it. Obtaining the layered electric power system brittle model and the brittle source. The fuzzy analytic hierarchy process is applied to build a three-layer brittle model for transformer. The relative important degree order vector of transformer failures is obtained for certain factor in certain layer. The high danger degree spread sources are found by defining the danger degree of the spread sources. As long as they are monitored intentionally, the transformer brittleness can be avoided from happening to the maximal degree. Verifying this method is usefulness to the analysis of electric power system.

Speech recognition is a computationally complexity process and it is suitable for battery powered devices like mobile phones and other personal PDAs. Particularly the parts of mel-scaled frequency cepstrum coefficients (MFCCs) are a process of dimension reduction for reducing resources to accurately describe speech samples. The optimized algorithm was applied to a binary-search-based look-up table to take place of original Taylor expansion algorithm, and it reduced the time of execution frames to meet real-time speech recognition system. The look-up tables were established by analysing the pseudo code to reduce the memory size in this paper. The transition algorithm of floating-point MFCCs to fixed-point ones was investigated to reach a higher precision in the first order approximation of linear interpolation of Log algorithm. The Hidden Markov Model Toolke (HTK) was applied to training the speech samples of Texas Instruments and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (TIMIT). The rate of speech recognition improved 12.02% by the optimized algorithm in the system of speech recognition.

As a new environmental management tool, the research and practice of Enterprise environmental performance evaluation are still at an early stage. The study of Power Generation Enterprise's environmental performance evaluation index system can provide universal evaluation theory for power generation enterprise environmental performance. According to the characteristics of power generation enterprise and its environmental pollution status, this paper establishes appropriate environmental performance evaluation index system, which involves two categories: basic indicators and reference indicators. And the article proposes promoting application recommendations of index system; it helps power generation enterprise improve environmental performance, forms the core competitiveness of enterprises and achieves sustainable economic development.

With the development of high power LED technology, junction temperature as a key factor constrains the performance and the service life of LED, and the main parameter of junction temperature is thermal resistance. Therefore, how to measure the thermal resistance of high power LED quickly and accurately plays an important part in improving the performance and the service life of LED. Based on the study of high power LED thermal resistance and its basic measurement principle, this paper provides an analysis of the different measurement methods for thermal resistance, including of infrared thermal imaging method, spectra method, electrical parameters method, and so on, then compares and analyses their merits and shortcomings, applicable areas and improvement measures that provide the reliable basis for measuring the thermal resistance of high power LED.
