This paper describes a new approach to analyze road images which often contain vehicles and extract license plate (LP) from natural properties by finding vertical and horizontal edges. In this paper, initially, segmentation technique named as sliding concentric windows (SCW) on the basis of a novel adaptive image segmentation technique for detecting candidate region. Color verification for candidate region by using HSI color model on the basis of using hue and intensity in HSI color model verifying green and yellow LP and white LP, respectively. Tilt correction in horizontal direction by the least square fitting with perpendicular offsets (LSFPO) is proposed and implemented for estimating rotation angle of the LP region. Then the whole image is rotated for tilt correction in horizontal direction by this angle. Tilt correction in vertical direction by reorientation of the titled LP candidate through inverse affine transformation is proposed and implemented for removing shear from the LP candidates. Finally, statistical based template matching technique is used for recognition of Korean plate characters. Various LP images are used with a variety of conditions to test the proposed method and results are presented to prove its effectiveness.

Mold filling and solidification of ZM5 shell were numerically studied by commercial software MAGMASOFT™. Casting parameters were optimized to reduce the extent of shrinkage porosity in the solidified shell. Calculated results show that the simulation results of the casting process with chills have a large amount of shrinkage porosity defects. Optimized casting process without chills can effectively eliminate shrinkage porosity defects, shrinkage defects can be effectively reduced.

This article introduced a digital switching power supply system based on the DSC control, focuses on the control unit of the digital power system and software function realization. The main circuit of power system uses the isolated-type Half-Bridge topology. The processor of control unit selects TI, PICCOLO Series DSC chip, and the model is TMS320F28023. This system software uses the voltage closed-loop control method and the PID algorithm governing system output. This digital switching power supply system's output voltage and maximum output current can nimble adjustable. This system has many features, such as fast response, low ripple factor, remote communications and intelligence protection. It has very good application value.

The real time property of fieldbus is very important to industrial control system. The transmission time delay is an important factor that influences the real time property of fieldbus. Starting from the medium access control mechanism of PROFIBUS, the PROFIBUS simplified transmission time delay formulas were given, and one of the important factors that influence message transmission time delay—message block time, has been deeply analyzed. According to the relation of the address of the node which tries to send message with the node which owns the token, PROFIBUS message block time mathematical model was proposed, and the correctness of the mathematical model has been validated by the simulation. The conclusion of this paper will provide the theoretic reference basis for the further study on the real time property of PROFIBUS.

On the basis of Internet communication, this paper puts forward a kind of combination virtual private network VPN technology equipment remote monitoring solutions. In remote client build Server services and use SSL technology and VPN technology build C/S mode network structure, and control access permissions, protect data security transfer. Expound the general structure design of the VPN security gateway. In SSL VPN use a series of cryptogram knowledge related, including symmetric encryption, asymmetric encryption, digital signatures, digital certificates and message digest,this paper careful analysis the principles of relevant cryptogram technology, and the application of direction, and combine them, not only protect the safety but also enhanced the performance of the system. Experiments show that the VPN Gateway enhances the ability that VPN client securely and credibly accesses the protected network. Demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of the design.

Application of distributed generation to supply the demand of a diverse customer base has been gaining popularity. There will have a great impact current when distributed generation parallel to power grid, and the impact current have a significant effect on distribution system. According to the radial distribution system, the simulation model of distribution system which contains distributed generation was founded and the effects of impact current on voltage of distribution system were deeply studied in this paper. The results show that the voltage of distribution system will fluctuating follow impact current and maybe beyond the lower limit of safe operation. So the effects of distributed generation interconnections on voltage of distribution system should be considered when planning distributed generation and the margin of feeder voltage should be improved.

The wind power is a kind of clean and renewable energy way of generating electric power. In the wind turbine technology, the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) drive is one of the most frequently applied variable speed generator drive concepts. In terms of the basic principles of the DFIG, the mathematical model of DFIG is founded. Then the control strategy based on the stator voltage directional vector control is primarily analyzed. According to the mathematical model, the simulation based on Matlab is done, and provides the theoretical basis for the future experiments. The simulation result verifies that the theory is accurate and efficacious.

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy as an experiment method is adopted in this research. Combining the experiment of the lithium ion battery's cycle life span, the measure is done to get the SOH of the lithium ion battery by definition. Measure the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy of battery through electrochemical instrument and get the data of impedance by the impedance spectroscopy data which is got and analyzed by the special electrochemical software Zsimpwin, then the impedance model parameters can be obtained. According to the experimental results, study on the correlation between lithium ion battery's impedance and its SOH.

In the CuCGA (Cu column grid array ) package, the failure occur first in the solder fillet at the solder/copper column interface and the crack propagates along the periphery of the copper column. So we have improved Cu column's shape by making the two bottoms of copper column into funnel-shape. Based on the reliability evaluation of interconnect, we established three-dimensional models of the double funnel-shaped CuCGA and analysed the influence of solder volume on strain distribution of double funnel-shaped CuCGA solder joint through finite element analysis software. The results indicate that, when the Cu column is made into double funnel-shape, the peak strain of solder fillers obvious decreases compared with that of conventional CuCGA. And the designed CuCGA interconnect has good comprehensive properties when the solder volume changes in a certain range. The reliability of structure can also be improved.
