In order to more accurately calculate the starting characteristics of the high-voltage motor and determine the impact on the grid, this paper establishes the dynamic model. The starting characteristic of the high-voltage motor is calculated based on the numerical method. In addition, this paper analyses the influence of the load changes on the starting characteristic. Compared with the steady-state characteristic curve, the result is much closer to the practical situation. This method provides more accurate references for the high-voltage motor design and the determination of starting mode.

This paper introduces the basic principle and basic structure of Microgrid, and brittleness evaluation indexes cited fully instructions. Brittleness theory has been applied for the brittle analysis of Microgrid and the according algorithm has also been presented for the study of the recessive fault. Given the difference between Microgrid and traditional power grid, this paper gives the definition of stand-alone Microgrid's brittleness, and develops a brittleness assessment method based on risk theory for Microgrids.

In this work the study results of nanopowders properties produced by electrical explosion of titanium wires in various medium (air, oxygen-argon mixture, and water) are presented. It was observed that the phase and size composition of nanopowders depends on the synthesis conditions: energy consumed by wire before explosion, material of wires, kind of working medium. Detailed study of the reactions mechanism of nanoparticles formation of chemical compounds under EEW was carried out.

Impending inevitable coupling of Russian power grid with national power grids of contiguous countries demands creation of special test power network models to investigate beforehand various dynamic phenomena which will take place in such immense power grids. In the view of such prospect, power grids of China and European Union (EU) can evoke special attention. For the present there is not possibility to create the detailed power network models of the trance-national power grids, which could be available for open access, because of the well-known national safety reasons. This paper illustrates the way to overcome partly the barriers for team-work of experts from different countries by the example of EU-Russia power network model. The main goal of the investigation in this paper is creation of a test power network model and then the demonstration of this power network model utilization for integration of emergency control in smart super grid containing both of virtual power plants and wind farms.

A study on analysis of stress intensity and stiffener debonding damages is presented for stiffener bonded composite laminate with multiple site damages using complex potential solutions. It revealed that the stiffener debondings made a significant influence on significant increase of stress intensity near crack tips and/or slits, which can be led to a catastrophic failure of stiffened composite plates.

Social network is a one of complex network, with the characteristics of complexity and dynamic. We can know obviously the characteristics of different network structure by social network pattern. Information clustering method in social network, according to distinction of basic solving strategy, it is divided into two types: optimization based method and heuristic method, making generalization and conclusion.

Creep behavior of PPF and PC/ABS was studied which are widely used plastics in automotive instrument panel. Material properties were obtained for various temperatures from tensile tests and three point bending tests were performed for different loadings and temperatures. Time-hardening version of power law creep equation were obtained from the experiment and creep behavior each plastic could be represented in simple form. FE creep analysis results matched well with the experimental results while the difference between numerical and experimental results became larger as load increased.

Comparing with commonly used sine-wave pulse-width modulation(SPWM) method, Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) method has higher utilization rate of DC voltage and smaller output waveform distortion. This article introduced SVPWM control technology into three-phase grid-connected inverter, created a main circuit mathematical model of three-phase grid-connected inverter and detailed the implementation of SVPWM modulation method with Matlab software. Through the establishment of a complete closed-loop system to simulate and research, giving the simulation waveforms and output grid-connected current waveform. The simulation results showed the advantages of SVPWM technique are more suitable for high-power applications.

This paper is focused on the design of the network video terminals based on the S3C-2410 of SAMSUNG as the core processor. And the operating system is embedded Linux which source code is open. In addition, it selects QT to design the streaming media player. With a real-time streaming transmission technology, the play, pause, stop and other functions of streaming media are implemented in this paper. At the same time the player can remote control the streaming media server.

Geological distribution and geotechnical characterization of expansive soils in Mongolia were summarized. Expansive soils are distributed in around 35% of total area of Mongolia. Distribution of expansive soil is illustrated in a geological map and the engineering geological and geotechnical properties are given for each region in a table. For the geological period, it was noted that expansive soils in Mongolia formed in the end of Cretaceous, Mesozoic era, to Neocene or Quaternary of Tertiary era. Swelling potential is high in Dundgobi-Sainshand region and Baganuur region, is medium in Gurvan Saikhan, Zaamar and Orkhon-Selenge region and is low in other areas.
