The number of grains and the mass of grains per plant are morphological characteristics that directly affect the achieved soybean yield. The aim of this research is to examine the influence of year and different varieties on the number of grains and grain weight per plant. In 2017 and 2021, the number and weight of grains per plant were statistically significantly lower compared to other years of research. The observed morphological characteristics have the highest values in the soybean variety with the longest vegetation period, the number of grains per plant was statistically significantly higher in the Rubin variety compared to the Sava and Galina varieties, while the grain weight per plant was statistically significantly higher in the Rubin variety on the Galina variety and statistically significantly higher in relation to the Sava variety.

The subject of this paper is the production characteristics of plum in Republic of Serbia: harvested area, annual production and yield in the period 2005-2020. The aim of this paper is to create a basis for planning the structure of plum production in the coming period, based on adequate analysis in the past, as well as determining the trends of the given parameters in the future. Based on data taken from official publications of the Statistical office of the Republic of Serbia for the period from 2005 to 2020, applying the calculated annual rate of change in %, the tendency of the observed phenomenon in the analyzed period was determined and on the basis of it a quantitative prediction of production characteristics for the period of five years, 2021-2025 was made. According to the obtained results, it is possible to implement adequate measures that could result in the improvement and increase of competitiveness of plum production in Serbia.

Local populations of two species of entomopathogenic nematodes Steinernema carpocapsae andS. feltiaewere tested in laboratory conditions with the aim to evaluate their reproductive potential on the larvae of grate wax moth (Galleria mellonella). The optimal productivity of infective dauers was obtained with the dose of 60 and 120 nematodes per larva, of 285.283,3 and 114.018 nematodes per cadaver, or 1.506 and 546,7 nematodes per mg of an insect. Both strains revealed high virulence and good reproducibility and present potential for application as biological control agents.

Milk production in dairy cows has increased significantly in the last few decades and continues to increase. The beginning of lactation requires extremely great effort from cows to overcome metabolic stress, so the frequency of cows' illness is the most intense in this period. Significant variations in the adaptive responses to lack of energy and nutrients in this period occur in the body of cows, with numerous endocrine, hematological, immunological and other changes. Therefore, cows should be provided with adequate nutrients for a balanced meal, both in the period of drought and in all phases of lactation.

This study was undertaken to determine the effects of humic acid on the growth seedling of two tomato cultivars CeylandoF1 and RallyF1, under greenhouse conditions. Treatment with „Humistar“ was started in the two-leaf stage of the plant. One level of humic acid of 20 ml l-1 was applied to the seedling growing media and each seedling of the species was treated every ten days until transplanting directly into the soil in greenhouse.The higest growth rate: leaf (weight), stem (diameter and weight) and root (weight and lenght) growth were optained in cultivar RallyF1 as compared to the control and leaf, stem and root weight compared to Ceylando F1 cultivar.General, the results showed that humic acid influenced better root development in both examined tomato cultivars.

Overall sheep production is influenced by certain factors, genetic and paragenetic. Fertility traits of sheep are more influenced by non-genetic systematic factors, whether they are discontinuous in nature (year of birth, season of birth and lambing, partus in order, type of birth, sex of lambs) or continuous (age at first insemination, etc.). The research included 180 sheep of the Pramenka breed, Sjenica pramenka in the breeding areas of three municipalities: Priboj, Prijepolje and Nova Varos. Data on the growth of lambs in the lactation period were analyzed, as follows: weight at birth, weight at the age of 30 and 90 days of age. The influence of fixed paragenetic factors such as: breeding area, year of birth of ewes, lambing in order, type of lambing, sex on the manifestation and variability of the observed characteristics of lamb growth in the lactation period was observed. The breeding area and type of birth had a significant effect (P <0.01) on the weight of lambs from all three age categories. The year of birth of lambs and the interaction of the breeding area and type of birth had a highly significant effect (P <0.01) on the mass of lambs at birth and at the age of 90 days, and significantly (P <0.05) on the mass of lambs at 30 days of age. Lambs in a row and a half of lambs did not significantly affect any trait of lamb growth in the lactation period. The coefficients of determination for the observed traits were high and very significant and ranged from 0.775 (77.5%) in the mass of lambs at birth to 0.397 (39.7%) in the mass at 30 days.

According to official statistics, the Rekovac municipality is underdeveloped and one of the five oldest municipalities in Serbia. Negative demographic trend of frequent migration, and the declining number of population are a big problem. In order to analyze state of agriculture and rural development in the area of Rekovac, a SWOT analysis was performed. Also was conducted survey in order to assess the attitudes and opinions of residents. The aim of this artical is to point out the development potentials and the necessity of connecting the agricultural and non- agricultural sectors, as well as the negative tendencies and risks.

Potato is one of the staple cultivated species and according to the area planted, forth crop after wheat, maize, and rice. Trough selection of the appropriate variety and application of modern cultivation technology it is possible to achieve high yields. Research with five commercial potato varieties (Agria, Faluka, Kennebec, Kuroda and Desiree) was conducted in 2016 and 2017 in field conditions in three localities (East Sarajevo, Bijeljina and Rogatica - Borike). The obtained results were processed using Analysis of Variance in the three-factorial design Variety, location and years significantly influenced the yield of tubers. Sufficient and evenly distributed precipitation in 2016. years influenced the formation of a higher number of larger tubers, while the deficit of precipitation in 2017. years affected the lower presence of this fraction and lower tuber yields.

The results of isolation and identification (API test-systems) of the cultures of Enterobacteria and “non-fermentating” microorganisms from water, zooplankton (protozoa, cyclopes, daphnias), chironomids larvae of natural and anthropogenic water reservo- irs are produced. Spectrum of potentially pathogenic bacteria in water and in the hydrobionts was rather wide (16 genera) and of similar composition. Microflora of chironomids proved to be less heterogenous than that of zooplankton. The most frequently observed microbes were found to belong to Klebsiella, Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter, as well as to Actinomyces and Candida. Both aquatic and overground ecosystems can be a habitat of microorganisms that are potentially pathogenic to man and animals.

The most frequently observed microbes were found to belong to Klebsiella, Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter, as well as to Actinomyces and Candida.
