If a lecturer applies a less precise and boring method, the teaching and learning process will not go well. Thus, it is necessary to improve the teaching of English for students by developing more appropriate learning model focusing on learners' needs. It is in line with the application of the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) approach in which learners and their needs The main purpose of learning with this approach is to help learners to master English according to their respective knowledge and needs. The method used in this study is research and development methods or better known as Research and Development (R & D). Based on the results of preliminary observations in ESP Geography learning, it has not yet reached conformity. The percentage of student responses reached 57.4% with an inappropriate category because the learning process is still general. The learning model resulted from the development has been improved and adapted to the learning environment and emphasizes the Reading Guide learning model. Thus, the results of the second stage, most students (85%) give a positive response to the learning process of reading. For this reason, it can be concluded that the description of the ESP Geography learning model results is good enough even if with improvements. Keywords—development; ESP; geography

One of significant keys that contribute to the success of preserving the unity in cultural diversity of multiculturalism is to build respect and tolerance. This study aims at investigating the implementation of multicultural-based theological education and the barriers of its current practices at Sint Carolus Senior High School. Moreover, the possible efforts in overcoming such issues are also extensively discussed. This study is a qualitative study, a study which produces narrative description as the results of the data collected from the captured phenomenon of people and/ or their behavior both in written and oral form. This study reveals some evidences related to the implementation of multicultural theological education. First, multicultural theological education consists of several dimensions such as dimension of beliefs, dimension of religious practices, dimension of religious appreciation, dimension of religious knowledge and dimension of religious experiences. Meanwhile, the barriers to the multicultural theological education do not appear significantly since its practices do not take side only on one particular religion, yet the classroom instructions are universally made. However, the external barriers are still found such as people with lack of knowledge of multicultural theological education, habits and/or tradition, and low economic level. Therefore, such aforementioned issues can be solved by reemphasizing the multicultural theological education itself during the process of teaching and learning as well as during the process of extracurricular in school. Keywords—multicultural education; theological education

Learning motivation is very necessary as an encouragement for someone to do learning activity so that learning achievements can be achieved and it can be influenced by the method or learning strategy used, and then previous research examining the learning method of Example and NonExample had never discussed how the student learning motivation, so this study wants to show that Example and NonExample learning can foster learning motivation and students’ understanding of concept. Data was taken through observation, questionnaire, and test that were given to forty students who took part in statistical study. The results of observation in the class showed that students were very active in discussing, and communicating analyzing concept presented in the form of drawings and diagrams and being able to think critically. The results of the questionnaire showed that their learning motivation was high, the majority of students said that learning was very interesting, fun and not stressful. Students also revealed the learning must be maintained especially in statistical subject that were difficult for them to learn so far. The understanding of concept of material was also more improved and based on the test result have been completed. Keywords—learning; motivation; examples and non-examples

The aim of this study was to find out the effect of internet utilization media as a learning resource on the academic of student’s achievement in Educational Administration Study Program. A quantitative method with a survey design was employed in the study. The population used in this study was the of Educational administration students for the academic year 2015, 2016, and 2017. The total sampling techniques was used in this study by involved 100 students as participants. Also, primary data and secondary data were used as data collection techniques in this study in the form of questionnaires and transcript value documents. Furthermore, simple regression analysis was used as data analysis technique in this study. The results of the study showed that there was the effect of internet media on the academic achievement of students of the educational administration study program at Jambi University. According on the results of the t-test, it was found that internet media tcount was 5,002, while ttable was 1,984, it was obtained that 5,002 > 1,984, then Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Hence there was a significant partial effect between internet media (X) on academic achievement (Y). Based on the result of the study, it is suggested to be more wise in using internet media, besides the many benefits of the internet, it also has negative impacts. Keywords—internet; achievement; academic

The research design used in this study was the only matching pretest posttest control group design. The population of this study were all fourth grade elementary school students Bengkulu in the academic year 2017/2018. The research sample was fourth grade students of two of the public elementary school in Bengkulu, Indonesia. The instrument used in this study was a test sheet to measure students' knowledge about My Living Place. The research data were analyzed inferentially by independent sample t-test. The results obtained a significance value (2-tailed) which is 0.000 <0.025. The conclusion of this study has shown that there is a significant influence on thematic learning based on rural and urban environments on the elementary school students' knowledge in Bengkulu about My Living Place.
