The research objectives are to discover students' learning interest and to investigate students' creativity in creating mosaics, collages and montages by using leaves. These are quantitative and qualitative research. The participants were 25 students of grade IVA in an Elementary School. Data collection techniques employed questionnaires, interview sheets and students’ works. The results of the study demonstrate an increase in students’ learning interest, suggested by 22 students’ happy feeling (88%), student attention mentioned by 18 students (72%), and students' willingness, 20 students (80%) and 20 student’s knowledge (80%). In the effort to increase students' creativity in creating mosaics, collages, and montages, 21 students (84%) by using the media of leaves. The students’ works as well as show very variety. The conclusion is that students’ learning interest is high and students’ creativity is significant in creating mosaic, collages, and montages by using the media of leaves. It means using media in students’ learning activity particularly leaves has very important effects. To use an appropriate media in learning is one solution to resolve problems related to students’ interest and creativity.

Successful investigation in the laboratory was supported by a student worksheet. This study aims to measures the validity and effectiveness of laboratory worksheet on a topic the Excretory Systems in Humans that has been developed based on the Argument-Driven Inquiry Model. The result of the research shows that the laboratory worksheet is proper to use aslearning resource that validity average is 84.25% are considered theoretically feasible and student response average is 96.40% is considered very good. Improvement of argumentation skill is shown with gain scores of 0.43.

This paper reported the use of several quantitative analytic methods, including Rasch analysis, to examine teacher responses to questionnaire items probing opinions related to knowledge-based teacher, engagement, and expectation in Teacher Profession Education Program in Indonesia. While many reports have presented the impact of training-based teacher professional development program in Indonesia, the present paper improved on these outcomes by utilising Rasch analysis to identify items with orderly sequences of scores across response categories, and to subject these to fresh exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The resulting 3-factors (teacher knowledge, teacher engagement, teacher expectation) scale proved acceptable in terms of confirmatory factor analysis as well as in terms of Rasch item analysis. Furthermore, the paper briefly discussed the implications of these outcomes in relation to the refined instrument’s capacity to gather information about how teachers view and expectation about the Indonesian Teacher Profession Program, including gender disparity analysis.

—Integrating outdoor learning into indoor learning experience is excellent way to enrich students learning experiences in science and mathematics. To achieve the objective, professional development (PD) is conducted to 12 elementary school teachers to introduce outdoor learning. Teacher PD program consists of four stages: Workshop, Working in group, Schoolyard activities, Evaluation and Feedback. The effectiveness of PD is evaluated by employing a questionnaire following teacher PD program. The results indicates that (1) in term of lesson plan, teacher knowledge and skills in designing outdoor learning activities into classroom activities are enhancing; and (2) teacher skills in developing lesson plan and student worksheet inserting the outdoor learning activities improve.

In this 4.0 revolution era the cyber physical, internet of thing, big data and cloud computingeveryone will face disruptive era. A university as a producer of educated human resources should be able to produce a high quality graduates. One of the solutions to reach the goal is by using augmented reality and web-based blended learning. Augmented Reality technology is believed to have contribution in changing and being a future trend for learning. This study is a research and development study with ADDIE model involving 30 respondents and aimed at developing a blended learning model which based on web and augmented reality in a learning process. The data were taken by using interview, observation and questionnaire. This study was the initial (analysis) step of the study and was done by identifying the needs of the learning. The questionnaire data were analyzed by using Rasch Model. The results of the study show that the respondents agree on the development of the augmented reality blended learning since it contributes in giving freedom of time for learning, increasing the students’ discipline, honesty and responsibility. In addition, the use of augmented reality can increase the student’s technological literacy and help them in understanding a learning concept easily. In short, it can be concluded that the augmented reality and web-based blended learning can be continued to the next

This study I am instrument used for high-level learning at senior high school. Type of research is development of three stages, namely: initial development of instruments, content and empirical validation, and measurement. Instruments that have been validated by experts, tested on 95 students. The next instrument that has been applied to measure the ability of students. The number of students who use the total number of sampling is 148 students. The measurement results in this study were data analyzed by Rasch model using program Winsteps 3.37. This measurement is a model of suitability, degree of difficulty of grain, and characteristic curve. The results of this study indicate that the items are valid in content and then empirical. The empirical results showed that the MNSQ Outfit averaged 1.01 ± 0.22, ZSTD Outfit 0.1 ± 1.2. Referring to the lowest criteria of 0.5

Evaluation is difficult to realize by previous researchers by developing guidance and counselling service evaluation software. The aim of the study was to develop an evaluation of web-based results so that it would be easier to use by the counselor of guidance and counselling in the evaluation. This research will use research and development methods with the waterfall model or squinal linear model. This model has four stages: analysis, design, code, and test. Based on expert evaluation of content and design (media), the average test results stated that the Evalgo software already had 83 % and 67% or a good level. The conclusion of the study shows that evaluation software has a good category. Keywords—counselling; evaluation; program; software

Pedagogic competence is one of the competences that should be owned, comprehended, and mastered by teachers and lecturers to conducting professional job in Indonesian context and Bintan Regency particularly. It can be seen from their ability to help students to practice target language through pedagogical task. Therefore, the purpose is to explore the cognition, beliefs, and practice of state junior high school of English as a foreign language (EFL) teachers of pedagogical tasks in the classroom. The focus is on the cognition of the EFL teachers of pedagogical task in their classroom; the beliefs of EFL teachers of pedagogical task in the classroom; the practices of EFL teachers of pedagogical tasks in the classroom. The study is descriptive quantitative with survey method. The data will be collected through questionnaires for pedagogical task. The data will be analyzed with Likert scale through interpreting the data of cognition, beliefs, and practice of pedagogical task gathered from questionnaires. The findings showed that the teachers had good enough cognition, positive point of view and reasons to or not to use the pedagogical task in their EFL classroom. The teachers have had awareness of pedagogical task to try this in their teaching practice. Keywords—EFL teacher; pedagogical task; teacher’s competence

This study was aimed to examine the implementation of academic supervision planning program, including the follow-up activity of academic supervision and the constraints faced by principals in conducting academic supervision. This study was conducted at one elementary school in Bengkulu, Indonesia and used a descriptive quantitative method. The population was 208 teachers, and a random sampling technique was used to reach a total of 104 teachers as the sample. A questionnaire, observation, and documentation were used to collect the data which were then analyzed using percentage. The results showed that the academic supervision planning program scored 61.87 out of 100, while its implementation scored 57.59 out of 100, and the follow-up activities scored 49.93 out of 100. The constraints of the implementation process of academic supervision were time management, competences, teachers` perception, and commitment to quality.
