This research is aimed at describing the meaning of the word “anuq” which is commonly spoken by Sasak people in SMP Negeri 2 Batukliang Utara using semantics theory. The source of data were the conversations among teachers and administrators of SMP Negeri 2 Batukliang Utara. The data were collected by applying listening, speaking, and introspection method. The result of the research showed that the word “anuq”has many meanings based on the context or topics of the communication. Sasak people in SMP Negeri 2 Batukliang Utara basically used “anuq” when the speaker forgot or lost the word to be spoken.
本研究旨在用语义学理论描述SMP Negeri 2 Batukliang Utara中Sasak人常用的“anuq”一词的含义。数据的来源是Negeri 2 Batukliang Utara SMP的教师和管理人员之间的对话。采用听、说、自省法收集数据。研究结果表明，“anuq”一词根据交际的语境或话题而具有多种含义。在SMP Negeri 2 Batukliang Utara，当说话者忘记或丢失要说的单词时，Sasak人基本上使用“anuq”。

Slavoj Žižek introduces definition of subject through the concept of The Real. He decribes it use the Lacan’s psychoanalys triagle. The process of reaching The Real causes the subject to do something that can be out of the symbolic. Therefore, the position of subject could be decided at this stage. This kind of subject is seen in The Help (2011) film. It is represented by Skeeter. She tries to out from the symbolic order to get the real. In her process to reach the real, she is unable to release herself from the symbolic completely because of her educational background, her thought, and her conscience. Therefore, Skeeter could not be defined as the radical subject based on the process. Still, her effort in order to out from the symbolic is never succeeded. It is because she always does everything with full consideration. In fact, she only moves to the new symbolic order.

This study aims to apply a number of language learning models in research-based tertiary institutions through framing analysis. Experimental learning models such as discovery learning, inquiry learning, dan problem based. The results of the teaching and learning process were responded well by a numbe r of students. The response, for example, is demonstrated through research (linguistic) using framing analysis for the final project preparation (thesis). Meanwhile, in the context of research: the methods used include: consider, record, with data analysis using framing analysis. The result: in framing both (Jokowi and Prabowo) there are similarities in terms of (1) protruding at the syntactic level, namely on the headline, (2) protruding on the script aspect, ie focusing on reporting, (3) highlighting on the aspect of the theme, namely in paragraphs, and (4) protruding on the rhetorical aspect, i.e. the photos displayed. In addition, there is a negative image of Prabowo more visible than in Jokowi.

This thesis is a study about types of interruption and functions of interruption in a television talk show named Indonesia Lawyers Club. This study aims to identify the types of interruption found in the Indonesia Lawyers Club. The main theory used in supporting this study is a theory of types of interruption proposed by Ferguson (1977). In conducting this study, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study found that there are four types of interruption found in the talk show. They are simple interruption (SI), overlap interruption (OI), Butting-in interruption (BI) and silent interruption (SLI). OI is the most dominant types of interruption found in the data. There are 9 occurrences of OI (36%), 8 occurrences of SI (32%), 5 occurrences of BI (20%) and 3 occurrences of SLI (12%).

Since the growth of the Indonesian press industry in the 1970s, popular novels have been carried away by the rapid development of the mass media world. Because, there are facts and data that most of Indonesia's popular novels were originally published as serials in newspapers and magazines. Convincingly people can classify certain novels into groups of literary novels or popular novels. The reasons that are subjective are not appropriate to be used as a criterion for determining certain novels as serious (literary) novels or popular novels, because the considerations used are only based on personal perception. Of course it is scientifically less accountable, because it is not based on clear theories and methods, for example by looking at intrinsic and extrinsic structures, or also its sociological aspects. Therefore, an inventory of the intrinsic features of popular novels is very important. These characteristics include romantic-sentimental, love and household themes, single channel, straight channeling, contemporary dialogue, physical background of a rich family environment, educated family, campus, spectacular and explosive disposition, anti-double meaning, no need for aesthetic understanding .

This article discusses the aesthetic assessment of the web series Sore which is done through a semiotic approach, as well as the beauty of delivering the moral message behind the purpose of the web series as advertisement. The first step on the research is to develop basic narrative scheme to guide the determination of the main signifiers in the web series. Next is to analyze the style of language contained in the dialogue that has a metaphor in it. And finally, the aesthetic assessment of the delivery of moral messages in the web series. After analyzing the authors found the hidden beauty of the web series Sore is the simple form of main signifier, the use of metaphors that have beauty as supporting the delivery of the meaning in some scenes on the web series, as well as the web series successfully deliver the moral messages with such a natural and beautiful scene that accordance with the purpose of literature to entertain and educate.

This research aimed on the responses from almuni of the UNS Faculty of Humanities to Indonesian poetry in Anggun C Sasmi's international song A Rose in The Wind. The agreement that used in this study is the synchronous acceptance of literary work. The researcher chosed and interviewed 5 respondents from alumni of UNS Faculty of Humanities. The result of interview resulting a data that used as material of research. The researcher found similarities and responses on the poetry tittle. There also different reason, which are some interpretation of the responded that related to feelings of regret, apologies, and nationalism. One interesting thing in this research is the shift in the meaning of natinoalism towards Indonesia. As it related to nationalism, it is not only given by the "indonesian citizen" but, it also given by "foreigner" through a love to Bahasa.

The title of the article "In Social Media is" Language Games "(?)" Departing from the purpose of proof that the existence of Social Media is a source of data "language games". Such statements are reasonable, because the actors, adolescents or who youthful, can present the desired content of the message regardless of the rules of the binding language.The application of theory combines the linguistic theory of semantics with sociolinguistic (theory), because between them are empirical sciences. The existence of both of them complement each other. The assessment phase starts from: 1. provision of data, 2. classification and analysis of data, and 3. preparation / writing.The data finding is more secondary, because the data is obtained from written sources, that is, as the facts of the text in Social Media. The findings of the form of "language games" are based on: 1. text typology, and 2. text content (messages).The results of the study based on the typology of the text produce: a. type of word alignment (in sentence form), b. dialog type, and c. type of poetry. While the results of the study based on the contents (message) of the text produce: a. `satire ', b. `invitation ', c. `warning, and d. `harassment and / or punching`.

This research is a qualitative descriptive study related to communication activities at the Confucian religious wedding ceremony in Jambi. The focus of this research is on communicative activities including situations, events, and actions of communication in wedding ceremonies with Ethnographic Communication studies. Data were obtained from observations, interviews, and supported by literature. The results of the analysis data show that during the Confucian ceremony there was a communicative situation which was conducive, sacred, familiar, and joyful. The process of marriage is sequentially described by communicative events from the beginning to the end of the procession. Communicative actions are characterized by verbal, non-verbal communication, and existing symbols. The three elements of the research results describe the communication activities which took place on the Confucian wedding ceremony. In addition, communication activities which occur have a close relationship with the concept of Confucian beliefs and teachings.

The purpose of this study is to find Rhoma Irama's views on the role of women in the public sector in the lyrics of the song he wrote in the 1980s, namely "Women's Emancipation". To study Rhoma Irama's view, structural and feminism studies are used. Based on structural studies, the lyrics to the song "Emansipasi Wanita" are very aesthetic because they are built by strong sound elements and proper diction. With that strength, Rhoma Irama managed to convey her expression about her anxiety about the role of women in the public sector. In the lyrics that confuse nature and gender it is revealed that if the role of women in the public sector is very dominant, then the position of the patriarchy will be threatened and family life will also be damaged.
