Molecular characters of Hantaviruses, epidemiology and pathogenicity 汉坦病毒的分子特征、流行病学和致病性

The year 2020 has indeed been a year of crisis after the outbreak of Novel Corona virus there was another virus that showed its presence, it was Hantavirus. Several Chinese news channels reported death of a man due to hanta virus and the other 32 people were tested along, those who were in contact. There was indeed a risk of another outbreak while the whole world was still suffering from the COVID-19 crisis. Several novel Hantaviruses with unknown pathogenic potential have been identified in a variety of insectivore hosts. With the new hosts, new geographical distributions of Hantaviruses have also been discovered and several new species were found in Africa. Hantavirus infection in humans can result in two clinical syndromes: haemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) and Hantavirus cardiopulmonary syndrome (HCPS) caused by Old World and New World hantaviruses, respectively. This review focuses on the molecular properties of Hantaviruses that were found in the recent outbreaks, with a focus on epidemiology, the pathogenicity is described in relation to human as a host also diagnostic and possible treatment approaches have been described, microbiology remains a choice of interest as it is important to know complete structural components of the virus in order to tackle and block the lethal pathogenic abilities. The pathogenesis is likely to be a complex multifactorial process that includes contributions from immune responses, platelet dysfunction and the deregulation of endothelial cell barrier functions. This review summarizes recent data documenting interactions established by pathogenic Hantaviruses with their natural or human hosts that could highlight their different outcomes.

A cross-sectional study on the prevalence and associated risk factors of Rumen and Reticulum foreign bodies of cattle slaughtered at Wolaita Sodo Municipal abattoir, SNNPRS, Ethiopia 埃塞俄比亚SNNPRS Wolaita Sodo市屠宰场屠宰牛瘤胃和网状异物患病率及相关危险因素的横断面研究

The objective of present study was to determine prevalence of rumen and reticulum foreign bodies, type of foreign bodies and associated risk factors at Wolaita Sodo Municipal Abattoir, Ethiopia. Ante mortem and postmortem examination was done for assessment of age, sex, body condition and recovery of foreign bodies respectively. From total of 384 cattle examined 66 (17.02%) were found positive for the occurrence of foreign bodies. The results showed statistically significant difference (p< 0.05) in prevalence among different sexes, age groups and body condition scores and higher prevalence was observed in female (20.7%), old animals (19.8%) and medium body conditioned (23.3%) animals respectively. Therefore sex, age, and body condition score can be considered as potential risk factors and it was concluded that continued awareness creation should be instituted to avoid the risk of foreign body ingestion by animals and appropriate solid waste disposal system need to implement in the study area.

Surgical management of cherry eye in a cocker spaniel dog 可卡犬樱桃眼的外科治疗

A two year old intact male cocker spaniel was presented with a history of pink coloured mass on the medial side of right eye from last 10 days. After clinical examination the condition was diagnosed as prolapse of third eye lid gland. The condition was corrected by using Morgan’s pocket technique. The pocketing technique does not alter the tear production and morphology of the third eyelid gland ducts.

Comparative study of essential oil of clove and oregano treated edible film in extending shelf life of paneer 丁香精油与牛至精油处理食用膜对延长印度奶酪保质期的比较研究

The present study was conducted to compare the effect of clove and oregano essential oil treated starch and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) based edible packaging film in extending the shelflife of paneer. The edible packaging film was prepared by adding starch (5 g), carboxymethyl cellulose (15% W/W starch) and glycerol (40 ml/100 g starch) in distilled water (100 mL). Freshly prepared paneer sample was evaluated for physico-chemical, microbiological and sensory properties at (4±1 °C) till spoilage. The sample of paneer packed in oregano essential oil treated edible packaging film showed better and significant physico-chemical, microbiological and overall sensory properties as compared to paneer wrapped in clove essential oil treated edible packaging film. Both the paneer samples was found bland on 10 day of sensory evaluation but found microbiologically fine at 12 day of storage. The results revealed that both the samples of paneer packed in edible film treated with oregano and clove essential oil was found microbiologically safe for at least 12 days as compared to 5-6 days for normal paneer sample at 4±1 °C and oregano essential oil is more effective than clove essential oil in same concentration for preserving paneer sample.

Concurrent process validation: A case study for Artesunate and Amodiaquine tablets 并发工艺验证:青蒿琥酯和阿莫地喹片的案例研究

Process validation is a requirement of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The essence of process validation is to ascertain the quality of a product throughout its production life cycle. The various steps in manufacturing processes must be validated as it is essential for quality to be built into the manufacturing processes of drugs. In this study, we discuss the Process validation of Artesunate (Art) tablets and Amodiaquine (Amod) tablets. The following critical tests were performed on the blend; Assay, blend uniformity studies, blend characteristics and flowability properties (Bulk Density, Tap Density, Compressibility Index, Hausner Ratio), resistance to Segregation studies, Loss on Drying and Blend hold-time studies. The following analytical tests were performed on the compressed tablets; Identification, weight variation, Disintegration, Hardness, Average weight, Loss on Drying, Friability, Assay, Dissolution, Thickness and Uniformity of Dosage Unit. The following were performed on the packaged finished products; leak test, Print quality, carton seal integrity. Percentage yield was also determined. The following statistical tools were used in the data evaluation; F-test, Shapiro-Wilk test, Kurtosis, Skewness, T-test emanating from regression analysis, Tests for Normality and Tests for Significant differences. Results indicated an acceptable level of homogeneity within a batch and a high level of consistencies between batches. The manufacturing process was concluded to be capable and stable to assure quality and safe products.

TRP channels in uterine pathophysiology- A short review 子宫病理生理中TRP通道的研究综述

Calcium ions are major upstream signalling molecules to initiate myogenic contraction. TRP (Transient receptor potential) proteins belong to cation channel protein family and are localized in the cell membrane. The most perform of TRPC is to control the inflow of Ca / Na batting on PKC pathway activation evoked by G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR). TRPV6, is mostly expressed in pregnant uterus in human, mouse, rat and pig. TRPV6 and TRPC1 are related to embryo implantation. Upregulated TRPC3 urged to play an important role in LPS-induced preterm labor. TRPC1 and TRPM7 are rumoured to related to abnormal uterine fibroid contraction. TRPV4 channels are present within the pregnant and nonpregnant mouse uteri, and their activation by prostaglandin increases myometrial contractility. TRPA1 over activity could also be related to pre-eclampsia and connected cardiovascular diseases. So with growing evidences of upregulation of varied TRP proteins in several pathological conditions of the uterus in human and experimental animals signifies TRP proteins rising as a new therapeutic target in uterine pathophysiology.

The most perform of TRPC is to control the inflow of Ca / Na batting on PKC pathway activation evoked by G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR). TRPV6, is mostly expressed in pregnant uterus in human, mouse, rat and pig. TRPV6 and TRPC1 are related to embryo implantation. Upregulated TRPC3 urged to play an important role in LPS-induced preterm labor. TRPC1 and TRPM7 are rumoured to related to abnormal uterine fibroid contraction. TRPV4 channels are present within the pregnant and nonpregnant mouse uteri, and their activation by prostaglandin increases myometrial contractility. TRPA1 over activity could also be related to pre-eclampsia and connected cardiovascular diseases. Insights into the miracle plant Moringa oleifera 对神奇植物辣木的深入了解

Moringa oleifera is native to India and is one of the most useful tree with an enormous amount of benefits in the world. Numerous research reports have appeared in different national and international scientific journals by studying its nutritional and medicinal properties over the past decades. Different reports also show that due to its multipurpose uses, it has recently got attention in different countries. It is a tree that is sometimes called a miracle tree as all its parts are used for nutritional and pharmacological properties. It is a very valuable food tree which is highly nutritive, grows very fast and having drought resistant characteristics. It can also play an important role in soil and water conservation and is very helpful for mitigating climate change. This study provides a brief overview about the multipurpose uses of Moringa oleifera and its implication in climate change mitigation.

Principal component analysis for yield and quality traits of coloured rice (Oryza sativa L.) 彩稻产量与品质性状的主成分分析

The present investigation was undertaken with 33 coloured and white rice genotypes to estimate genetic divergence of the genotypes for yield and quality traits. The study involved seven red pericarp, eight black pericarp and 17 white rice genotypes, in addition to the check, BPT 5204. Principal component analysis was utilized to evaluate the variation and to estimate the relative contribution of various traits for total variability. Results revealed five principal components with eigen value > 1. These components contributed for a total variability of 78.2632 per cent. Component 1 (PC 1) had contributed maximum of 34.9423 per cent while PC 2 had contributed to 18.7909 per cent, PC 3 had contributed 11.2637 per cent, PC 4 had contributed 6.9756 and PC 5 had contributed to 6.2906 towards the total variability. The characters, namely, milling per cent, iron content, plant height and head rice recovery were observed to explain maximum variance in PC 1. The results of 2D scatter diagram revealed Kakirekalu and BPT 5204 genotypes to be most diverse. Hybridization of these diverse genotypes is therefore predicted to result in desirable coloured transgressive segregants.

An incubation experiment was conducted during Kharif, 2018 on bahour soil series of puducherry to study the influence of various fertilizer doses and Soil Test Crop Response (STCR) based Integrated Plant Nutrient System (IPNS) on soil enzymatic activity. The incubation experiment was carried out with ten treatments and three replications. The soil samples were drawn at 0th, 40th and 80th day of incubation and subjected for urease, phosphatase and dehydrogenase enzyme analysis. The results revealed that the application of STCR + IPNS – 180 q ha-1 treatment has improved the activities of Urease (12.08 µg NH4- N g-1h-1), Phosphatase (13.65µg PNP g-1h-1) and dehydrogenase (2.48µg TPF g-1day-1). All the three enzymes activities were increased from the Initial day of incubation to 40th day and later showed decrease at final days.
