From the requirements of inquiry ability in the informational era and new curriculum reform, this article analyzes the deficiencies of scientific inquiry in college, and then introduces the concept of cognitive tools and their features. In the end, it puts forward to the design of a web-based inquiry learning platform for college science education, which could provide references for similar researches.
从信息时代和新课程改革对探究能力的要求出发,分析了高校科学探究的不足,介绍了认知工具的概念及其特点。最后,提出了基于网络的高校科学教育探究学习平台的设计,为类似的研究提供参考。

The analysis of mood taxonomy comparision between chinese and western music 中西音乐情绪分类比较分析

Automatic discrimination of music mood is one important field of MIR. Considering the difference of Chinese traditional music and Western classical music, it is necessary to study these two kinds of music's mood taxonomy. In this paper, the mood taxonomy models of Chinese traditional music and Western classical music are implemented, and then three content feature sets are extracted directly from the waveform audio clips. Finally, music clips are classified by three feature sets and their combination using Bayesian network classifier. The experiment results indicate that the detection rate of Chinese traditional music mood taxonomy is lower than that of Western classical music mood taxonomy no matter using single feature set or their combinations, that is to say the contribution of different feature set to music mood taxonomy is different, and the detection rate improves obviously when combining three feature sets both for Chinese traditional music and Western classical music.

Improved Hough transform for fast Iris detection 改进的Hough变换用于快速虹膜检测

Objectives: an important part of digital image processing is recognition of patterns. Iris recognition is an important application of the same. As a result of the fact that CHT lacks speed due to its high time complexity, it is useful to recognize valid regions and make these regions the only regions to process. Extracting a valid region from the image not only reduces the image storage and the quantity of operations, it also improves the speed of the process. The objective of the work is to describe a method for enhancing the speed of extracting circle i.e. iris from the image without compromising the accuracy of the technique. A modified version of Hierarchical Hough transform is also proposed which further reduces the time taken to detect iris. An exhaustive analysis is conducted for a large number of iris images and comparison results are shown. Method: The HT space is limited by dividing it into nine equal parts and then the center most space is extracted as the valid region. Then CHT and HHT transformations are applied on the valid region. Results: About 88.77% of maximum improvement and 87.989 % of average improvement is recorded in time of execution of proposed CHT in comparison to existing CHT. Whereas, run time of HHT and proposed HHT when compared, results show that the maximum performance rate is 86.649% and average performance rate is 46.81%. Conclusion: in case of HT base detection methods, execution speed is directly proportional to the number of edge pixels in input image. Restricting the number of pixels provides the advantage of considerably simplified computations, and hence faster algorithms. The work documents that an aggregate comparison of proposed transformations with existing transformations has achieved a faster yet accurate method to recognize iris.

A lung cancer lesions dectection scheme based on CT image 一种基于CT图像的肺癌病变检测方案

A new computer-aided detection (CAD) scheme for detecting lung nodules is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the lung region is segmented from the CT data using adaptive threshold algorithm etc; Secondly, building active contour model to segment and remove lung vessel accurately in the lung region; Next, suspicious nodules are detected and omitted renal vessel is filtered using a selective shape filter; Finally, nodule features are extracted and rule-based classifier is used to distinguish true or false positive nodules. Experiment results indicate that this scheme can help radiologist improve the diagnosis efficiency.

Improved image mosaic method of ScanSAR 改进的ScanSAR图像拼接方法

For ScanSAR the mosaic of subswaths' images is very important. An improved method for scanSAR to process the mosaicking by using Range-Doppler location model is proposed in this paper. It is based on the precision of the R-D location method. This method avoids the pixel defocused and the simulation results are satisfied in practice.

A DSP-based integrated starter/generator controller for single-axle parallel hybrid powertrain 基于dsp的单轴并联混合动力系统起动机/发电机集成控制器

The controller design is a challenging task for the electric propulsion system (EPS) of the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), which influences the economical efficiency and emission performance of HEV significantly. A single-axle parallel hybrid powertrain configuration for the IVECO vehicle is described firstly. Secondly, a DSP-based controller design procedure including hardware and software is given in detail. Finally, the controller with the integrated starter/generator (ISG) is tested in the test bench. The test data shows that the controller works well together with ISG and the controller satisfies the performance requirements of the single-axle hybrid powertrain.

Calculation and analysis of ACPW and UWB ACPW-slotline transition ACPW和超宽带ACPW-槽线转换的计算与分析

The paper calculated the dispersion characteristic of asymmetrical coplanar waveguide (ACPW) using FDTD method. The results of theoretical calculation show very good agreement with XFDTD formulation and experimental data over a wide frequency range. And the time of the FDTD calculation is about one fourth of XFDTD formulation. On this basis, a novel approach for designing a UWB ACPW to slotline transition is presented. A slotline hollow patch creates open circuit conditions on one arm of the ACPW and resonates the transition so that maximum power transfer may occur. The S-parameters of ACPW-Slotline transition was calculated using FDTD method based on Mur-PML absorbing boundary condition. The results agree well with available theoretical and experimental data over a wide frequency range. It is shown that ACPW is easier to connect with slotline in circuit structure and impendence match compare with symmetrical CPW.

Model-driven data cleaning for signal processing system in sensor networks 传感器网络信号处理系统的模型驱动数据清洗

The recent advances in sensor technologies have made these small, tiny devices much cheaper and convenient to use in many different applications, for example, the weather and environmental monitoring fields, the hospital and factory operation sites, on the traffic road and moving vehicles and so on. Data loss and corruption is inevitable in wireless sensor networks due to the wireless interference, limited sensor power and outlier from malicious electronic devices and so on. Therefore, before processing sensor data in different wireless sensor network applications, certain data cleaning steps need to be performed to ensure the data quality, such as dealing with outliers, missing sensor readings, and noisy data. In this paper, we discuss the issues need to be considered in the data cleaning steps of this integrated data cleaning model for signal processing in wireless sensor networks. We also present an integrated model for data cleaning on signal processing systems in wireless sensor network to deal with different data cleaning problems.

A broadband beamforming method based on microphone array for the speech enhancement 一种基于麦克风阵列的宽带波束形成语音增强方法

A broadband beamforming method based on wavelet filterbanks and adaptive beamforming is proposed for speech enhancement in this paper. First, using the wavelet analysis filterbanks, noisy speech signals are transformed into wavelet domain with wavelet coefficients as output. Then the beamforming based on generalized sidelobe canceller (GSC) operates on the wavelet coefficients. Finally, the enhanced full-band speech signals were finally reconstructed by synthesizing the enhanced subband speech signals by used of the wavelet synthesis filterbanks. Simulation results demonstrate its effect.
提出了一种基于小波滤波器组和自适应波束形成的宽带语音增强波束形成方法。首先,利用小波分析滤波器组,将含噪语音信号转换成小波域,输出小波系数。然后对小波系数进行基于广义旁瓣对消的波束形成。最后,利用小波合成滤波器组合成增强的子带语音信号,重构增强的全带语音信号。仿真结果验证了该方法的有效性。

Research and implementing of remote update for network telephone system program based on Ethernet 基于以太网的网络电话系统程序远程更新的研究与实现

In order to overcome the problem that the high cost of system maintenance is brought by DSP and MSP430 emulator debugging in field. Based on research of the system structure and the procedure bootstrap principle, adopt the module design method, the software system of remote update for DSP and MSP430 system program based Ethernet is developed on the hardware platform of VOIP telephone communication system, and realized the TCP/IP protocol to embed DSP. The flexible use of external memories address remapping makes system programs could be loaded selectively and realizes the self-loading of the DSP and MSP430MCU programs.
为了克服DSP和MSP430仿真器现场调试带来的系统维护成本高的问题。在研究系统结构和程序自引导原理的基础上,采用模块化设计方法,在VOIP电话通信系统的硬件平台上开发了基于以太网的DSP远程更新软件系统和MSP430系统程序,并实现了TCP/IP协议嵌入DSP。外部存储器地址重映射的灵活使用使得系统程序可以选择性加载,实现了DSP和msp430单片机程序的自加载。
