SPECTROSCOPIC EVIDENCE FOR STERIC ENHANCEMENT OF RESONANCE IN RHODIUM (III) CHLORIDE COMPLEXES 氯化铑配合物中共振立体增强的光谱证据

The assignments reveal that the carboxyl substituted complexes are isolated as facisomers and all the remaining seven complexes are having mer-octahedral configuration. Using these sulphides as ligands Rhodium (III) chloride complexes have been synthesized and analyzed. The infrared spectra of these complexes have been recorded in the region 600– 200 cm -1 . Generally the electron releasing group in Benzene ring decreases the v(Rh-S) stretching frequency value from the present one where as the electron withdrawing group increases the v(Rh-S) stretching frequency value form its parent one. Otherwise the electron donor exerts a weakening effect on the Rh-S band and the electron acceptor removes from the metal. The appearance of –OH bond in the complexes of carboxylic substituted ligands shows the absence of intra molecular hydrogen bonding between –OH of carboxylic group and chlorine. The carboxyl frequency of meta and para carboxylic groups gets increased when compared with the ligands. But in the case of higher stability of the meta and para isomers. In recording the electronic spectra the same solvent was used both for the complex and ligand. Generally the bathochromic shift is observed when there is an electron releasing group present in the benzene ring and the presence of electron withdrawing group or steric inhibition results in a hypsochromic shift. The complexes involving p-NO2 and p-COOH substituted phenyl methyl sulphides have the absorption bands almost identical with those of ligands. DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF ARTEMETHER & LUMEFANTRINE IN PHARMACEUTICAL DOSAGE FORMS 药物剂型蒿甲醚和甲苯曲明的开发与验证

The developed method was validated for parameters such as System suitability, Precision, Accuracy, Linearity and Robustness for the assay of Artemether + Lumefantrine. Hence the method is suitable, linear, precise, accurate and robust for the assay of Artemether and Lumefantrine. Precision and Accuracy are the major control parameters of the whole validation procedure were within the acceptable limits. The experimental data makes a relevant contribution to the understanding of validation parameters.The present work shows a validated, highly sensitive and selective method for determination of Artemether (20mg) + Lumefantrine (120mg) in tablet dosage forms. Key Word: Precision , Validation, Dosage Forms INTRODUCTION Chromatography is a technique by which the components in a sample, carried by the liquid or gaseous phase, are resolved by sorption-desorption steps on the stati onary phase. [1-3] HPLC is a type of liquid chromatography that employs a liquid mobile phase and a very finely divided stationary phase. In order to obtain satisfactory flow rate liquid must be pressurized to a few thousands of pounds per square inch. The HPLC is the method of choice in the field of analytical chemistry, since this method is specific, robust, linear, precise and accurate and the limit of detection is low and also it offers the following advantages.Speed (many analysis can be accomplished in 20 min or less), Greater sensitivity (various detectors can be employed) Improved resolution (wide variety of stationary phases), Reusable columns (expensive columns but can be used for many analysis), Ideal for the substances of low viscosity, Easy sample recovery, handling and maintenance. PHARMACOGNOSTIC AND DRUG EVALUATION PARAMETERS OF PINUS ROXBURGHII SARG 刺梨松生药学及药物评价参数

The Pinus roxburghii Sarg (Pinaceae) is commonly known as chir pine. It is a large tree up to 28-55 m in height. The bark is red-brown, leaves are needle-like, in fascicles of three, very slender, distinctly yellowish green. The P.roxburghii is an economically valuable species, balancing the ecosystem of the Indian mountains. The plant have their own pharmaceutically importance. In traditional system of medicine different parts of the plant have been used for cough, cold, influenza, tuberculosis, bronchitis antiseptic, diaphoretic, diuretic, rubefacient, stimulant and vermifuge. Bark paste is used in burns. Resin is used to relieve cough and gastric troubles. Plant is used as intestinal antiseptic, hypolipidimic, antioxidant property. The present study was undertaken to assess pharmacognostic parameters and phytochemical screnning of bark of Pinus roxburghii Sarg. Organoleptic evaluation of bark were done by studying organoleptic features like shape, size,colour, odour, taste and fracture In microscopy the bark was soaking into water filled beaker so that sufficient moistening is obtained for microscopy. In powder microcsopy dried powdered material was obtained by grinding bark and visual under microscope taken at 100x .To evaluate the Physico chemical property the crude dried plant material was subjected to study the various parameters such as extractive value using different solvent pet ether, chloroform, methanol and water, also calculate the percentage yield of moisture content, ash value including acid insoluble, water soluble ash, fluorescence analysis and loss on drying etc were evaluated by using standard procedures. To evaluate the phytochemical screening of extracts the different solvents were used such as Sodium hydroxide, Chloral hydrate, Ferric chloride, Sulphuric acid, Iodine, Lead acetate, Magnesium, World Journal of Pharmaceutical Research SJIF Impact Factor 7.523 Volume 6, Issue 10, 1756-1770. GARBHINI PARICHARYA: FOR BETTER DEVELOPMENT OF PROGENY Garbhini paricharya:为了后代更好的发展

Pregnancy is the beautiful phase in life of every women. Ayurveda, a holistic way of living, discusses the details of pregnancy under Garbhini Vyakarana. Ayurveda has a well-documented description of caring for pregnant women called Garbhini Paricharya. Ahara (diet), Vihara (lifestyle) and Vichara (Psychological aspect) with respect to each month is given which should be followed during pregnancy as these have a direct effect on health of both mother and the child. The care of pregnant women reflects by her ability to withstand the strain of labour and health of the child. Nowadays, cesarean section deliveries are gaining more importance as the pregnant ladies have not enough strength to bear labour pain which occur during normal delivery. On the other hand by following proper dietary regimen, pregnant woman become physically and mentally strong to withstand the pain of Normal delivery. In aspect of foetus, chances of congenital anomalies are less if dietary regimen is followed. Hence, an attempt is made through this article to highlight the importance and review the concept of Garbhini Paricharya.

IMPACT OF CONTRACEPTIVE USE UPON WOMEN’S HEALTH STATUS ATTENDING HEALTH FAMILY PLANNING CENTERS IN KUT CITY 使用避孕药具对库特市保健计划生育中心妇女健康状况的影响

Background: Contraceptives have been widely used since the mid19th century for a reason including the prevention of unwanted pregnancy. In family planning (FP), contraception is the main component of health services and it is beneficial to the health and wellbeing of women, men, children and families And their communities. Objective To identify the effect of using of contraception on physical, psychological and social women health,. Subject and methods: A cross-sectional study on impact of contraceptive methods use was conducted among women collected using structured and in-depth interview questionnaires. Information gathered included four dominoes socio-demographic characteristics, reproductive information and medical health history, information on the use of contraception method and impact of contraception method on women's health (physical, psychological and social impact) done at health centers in kut city. The study conducted from1st December 2016 to 28 February 2017, The sample size was (238) women attainting to family planning units. Results It was found that (20-24) years the age at marriage were (42.0%), (1924%) were getting the first pregnancy (56.3%), 13 of the sample were gravida (34) and (60.5%) of the sample using contraception pills. the purpose of using contraception was mostly to reduce number of children (49.8%), according to physical impact of contraception it was found that fatigue show high assessment. The others were between moderate to low, regarding to psychological impact of contraception it was found positive impact in the patient with high assessment. Subject and methods: A cross-sectional study on impact of contraceptive methods use was conducted among women collected using structured and in-depth interview questionnaires. Information gathered included four dominoes socio-demographic characteristics, reproductive information and medical health history, information on the use of contraception method and impact of contraception method on women's health (physical, psychological and social impact) done at health centers in kut city. The study conducted from1st December 2016 to 28 February 2017, The sample size was (238) women attainting to family planning units. Results It was found that (20-24) years the age at marriage were (42.0%), (1924%) were getting the first pregnancy (56.3%), 13 of the sample were gravida (34) and (60.5%) of the sample using contraception pills. the purpose of using contraception was mostly to reduce number of children (49.8%), according to physical impact of contraception it was found that fatigue show high assessment. The others were between moderate to low, regarding to psychological impact of contraception it was found positive impact in the patient with high assessment. EFFICACY OF SIDDHA MEDICINE AND VARMAM THERAPY IN PAKKA VATHAM (HEMIPLEGIA) - A SINGLE CASE STUDY 悉达药物和瓦曼疗法在pakka vatham(偏瘫)中的疗效——一个个案研究

Siddha system of medicine is the most primitive medical system. This system has a vast range of external therapies for health management. Varmam one of the branches of siddha system helps human society in curing the disease. Varmam means vital life force in the body. In Yugi vaithiya chintamani, Yugi munivar classified the vatham disease as 80 types and “Pakka vatham” is one among them. In Yugi as per the text, the signs and symptoms of pakkavaatham may be correlated with Hemiplegia in modern science. Several converging lines of contemporary evidence suggest that weakness presents a more serious compromise to movement function in post stroke Hemiplegia than spasticity. This review examines the clinical and functional phenomena of weakness in post stroke Hemiplegia, currently available evidence identifying physiologic substrates contributing to weakness, and reports of early investigations involving highresistance training targeted at improving strength and the transfer of strength to improvements in functional capacity.

AM1 STUDY ON THE CONFORMATIONS OF ZWITTERIONS OF BENZYLPENICILLIN LACTIM TAUTOMER 青霉素乳酸互变异构体两性离子构象的研究

The conformation and electronic structure of zwitterions of benzylpenicillin lactim tautomer have been optimized and calculated in the gas phase by semi-empirical molecular orbital AM1 method usually considering an isolated molecule surrounded by vacuum. The formation of zwitterions of benzylpenicillin lactim tautomer has been studied by comparison of the different positions of net charges on nitrogen atoms in the molecule. In this connection, the heats of formation (∆Hf o ), dipole moment (μ), full atomic charges and energies of frontier molecular orbitals (EHOMO and ELUMO) have been performed and discussed. The effect of conformational changes and their stabilities have been determined.

ASSESSING THE KNOWLEDGE ON SELF-MEDICATION AMONG MEDICAL STUDENTS OF BANGLADESH 评估孟加拉国医科学生关于自我药疗的知识

Self medication is one of the most practiced worldwide issues and can cause both benefit also with harmful effect at a time, when if it is not properly mentored by experts of drugs. Bangladesh is a south Asian developing country, where self medication is highly practiced. The aim of the study was to examine the knowledge and practice of self medication among the medical students in Bangladesh. The study was done among 731 medical students of both public and private medicals in Bangladesh. 92% of the medical students of both government and nongovernment medical colleges self-medicate and they get the drugs from local pharmacies, family, friends and neighbors. More than 60% of the population suffered from mismanagement of self medication and more than 30% know about the harmful effect of self medication but till they are practicing self medication.

TAXONOMICAL STUDY OF ACACIA NILOTICA (LINN) WILD (A DYE YIELDING PLANT) IN CHURU DISTRICT 楚鲁地区产染料植物野生金合欢的分类研究

The genus Acacia belongs to family Mimosaceae. Acacia Wild is a very large genus containing trees, shrubs and climbers. Acacia nilotica (linn), Wild is known in India as babul, kikar, babur (Hindi). It is a moderate sized tree with a spreading crown. It is indigenous to the Indian Sub-continent as also in Tropical Africa, Burma, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and in West and East Sudan. In India, natural babul forests are generally found in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Rajesthan, Haryana and Karnataka. A. nilotica is truly a multipurpose tree. Its timber is valued by rural folks, its leaves and pod are used as fodder and gum has a number of uses. It tolerates extremes of temperature and moisture. It is suited for planting on marginal lands and can survive both drought and flooded conditions.This article briefly reviews the Taxonomical as well as economic importance of Acacia nilotica with plant description.

Pharmacognosy is the study of medicinal drugs derived from plants or other natural sources. The American Society of Pharmacognosy defines pharmacognosy as "the study of the physical, chemical, biochemical and biological properties of drugs, drug substances or potential drugs or drug substances of natural origin as well as the search for new drugs from natural sources."A crude drug is any naturally occurring, unrefined substance derived from organic or inorganic sources such as plant, animal, bacteria, organs or whole organisms intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in humans or other animals.The plant Euphorbia hirta is commonly called as Asthma weed. It belongs to the family Euphorbiaceae. The present study is detailed out to complete the evaluation which included chemical tests, physicochemical parameters like total ash, water soluble ash, acid insoluble ash, extractive values & TLC. The study will provide proper identification of crude drug i.e. Euphorbia hirta plant.
