Based on observations in the field, there are several services that have not been carried out properly, so that service users feel dissatisfied and uncomfortable while they are at the Bakauheni Ferry Terminal. The method used to analyze existing problems is the Customer Statisfaction Index and Importance Performance Analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the passenger satisfaction index was 64.9% and there were 4 service attributes in quadrant I that had to be improved and improved. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that there are several service attributes that do not run optimally, these service attributes include safety equipment facilities (APAR, evacuation route instructions), CCTV, waiting rooms, health facilities.

This study investigated to find out whether or not there were any significant differences of the second level cadets’ listening ability and listening attitude using video materials. By using questionnaire forty cadets were selected as the sample and equally divided into experimental and control groups. By applying pretest and post-test control group design the treatment was only given to the experimental group. The data were analyzed by using three techniques: they were the statistical analysis on measuring homogeneity and normality data, independent t-test, and two-way ANOVA. Due to the research findings, it was found that (1) there was significant difference in listening ability between positive and negative attitude students who were taught by using Video materials (0.000<0.05). (2) there was significant difference in listening ability between positive and negative attitude students who were taught by using conventional technique (0.000<0.05). (3) there was significance difference in listening ability between positive and negative attitude students who were taught by using video materials and those who were taught by using conventional technique (0.000<0.05). (4) there was a significant interaction effect of Video materials and listening attitude towards the listening ability at the second level cadets of D III Inland Water and Ferries Transport Palembang (0.020 < 0.05).

The Ulee Lheue Ferry Port is managed by the Department of Transportation port city of Banda Aceh. The crossing port serves two tracks with 3 Ro-Ro ship operating and ship jetfoil 2. One important component in ferry transport is safety. Safety is not only to the service user but also to the crew. On ships operating in the Ulee Lheue Ferry Port there are many safety devices such damaged lifejacket, lifebuoy, lifeboat and the number of safety devices that do not fit the needs of the vessel based on the Safety Of Life At Sea (SOLAS).The conditions and the amount of safety equipment must be considered in terms of both the feasibility of tools and appropriate equipment so that in the event of emergency safety tools that exist can be used with either as a form of implementation of aspects of the safety of passengers on board. The number and condition of safety equipment that does not comply with the requirements could endanger the safety of lives of the passengers in case of accident. The number of safety devices must be able to accommodate the number of passengers and crew on board.

In an effort to implement work procedures safely and avoid working risks to loading and unloading activities, awareness of the loading and unloading workers (TKBM) is required to apply Occupational Safety and Health (K3) rules through the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The fact that occurs when this, the application of the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in loading and unloading activities at the Port is still lacking, even though the loading and unloading activities are high operational activities that can cause various risks of accidents, especially risks to occupational safety and health. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the process of implementing Occupational Safety and Health (K3) to Unloading Workers at the Boom Baru Port of Palembang through the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The study used survey questions and direct interviews in the field, followed by identification of project locations, visual surveys in the project and documentation taking in the field. Implementation of the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). At the Boom Baru Port of Palembang, it has not been going well because of the lack of implementation of the supervisory function of the TKBM Cooperative and from the regulatory side of the Palembang Port Authority and Port Authority (KSOP).

Inland water harbor is a port located in the inland waters of a large river that can be navigated, canal / river or in a lake. The inland port can function like a seaport with various loading and unloading activities including container ships, tankers, roro ships and so on like the Boom Baru port in Palembang, Trisakti Port located in the suburbs of Banjarmasin, the capital of South Kalimantan Province, is located on the banks of the Barito River, about 20 miles from the mouth of the Barito River at position 03 "20" 18 "LS, 114" 34 "48" East. Banjarmasin port is a major supporter of sea transportation which directly or indirectly plays an active role in the economic development of South Kalimantan Province. Because through inland waters usually the draft ship is not too deep depending on the river being passed.

South Sumatra is one of the provinces that has a large area of water. Musi River is the main means of transportation in several sub-districts in South Sumatra. The problem discussed in this study is "What is the safety standard for river transportation passengers (speed boat) at Musi river Pasar 16 Ilir Palembang?" The purpose of this study was to determine the safety standards for river transportation (speedboat) passengers in the Musi River flow area at Pasar 16 Ilir, Palembang. The results of this study are expected to be useful for the teaching of literary readers, and for further researchers.1) for passengers, this research can be used as a reference in knowing passenger rights for safety in travel. 2) for the driver, this research can increase professionalism in driving, it can be used in increasing service to passengers and increasing professionalism of drivers and developing plans for the development of transportation infrastructure in the Musi River in Palembang. The method used by researchers is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Based on the results of research and discussion, safety standards for speedboat passengers in the Musi River flow area, there are several Minister of Transportation regulations that have not been implemented, such as emergency exits on large speedboats, the absence of traffic signs in the Musi River area which causes the speedboat driver to not know the state of the river like the presence of trees and stones in the water. Safety equipment such as life jackets or life jackets, and buoys amount to only around 10% per boat. There is no record of the passenger, the passenger pays the transportation fee directly to the driver.
