Unemployment problem in Bangladesh is considered as one of the major obstacle for development and highly educated unemployed population is growing every year. Market experts are indicating that lack of skills of the graduates is causing such scenario while academicians and employers are having separate preferences over employment skills. According to this study, twenty fundamental employment skills are selected and both academicians’ & employers’ opinions are measured by ranking the skills according to their preferences. Three scales are created and university graduates’ skills are measured by each scale. After the skill measurement analysis, it’s found that the academician’ and employers’ skill preferences have no significant differences. So, the employers’ demand for skills is not causing the high number of educated unemployed graduates. As the academicians’ skill preferences is not much different than the employers’, the problem may lies in the curriculum of the universities.

The purpose of this, study was to examine the relationship between workplace design or layout and work effectiveness of employees 300 worker drawn from the 25 functional manufacturing industries located in the Calabar free trade zone, Nigeria, constituted the population of the study. A sample of 200, which was representative of the various cadres of workers, was carved from the population randomly. Data was gathered with questionnaire from 200 respondents and hypothesis tested with Pearson product-moment correlation analysis at 0.05 level of significance and 118 degree of freedom. Findings indicates that most workers were dissatisfied with their offices or factories physical design, such as the circulation of gangways/walkways, the articulation and functional relationships between spaces, ventilation and the manner in which equipment/workstations are arranged and fitted. Sexual harassment has really become a matter of worry in today’s world. The current report shows an in-depth analysis of sexual harassment of female at different workplaces. In India, in the seminal judgment of the Supreme Court in Vishaka v. State of Rajasthan, the basis for the Sexual Assault at Workplace Act was laid down in (1997). Sexual abuse resulted in a breach under Article 21 of the Constitution of the major human rights given to female, in particular the precise to freedom in Articles 14 & 15 of the Indian amendment and their right to live life with pride. The present research offers an intensive history on sexual abuse faced by women in their respective workplaces in India. Workplace sexual assault is common. Why are women supposed to sacrifice on their hard work, self-respect and opportunities in a generation where dignity and standards are yelled loud regardless of gender inequality. The cruel motives of male domination are frequently pressurized and suppressed by women. Sexual harassment has revealed a uniform rise from past era to the current situation which give rise to violation of basic liberties of female at work. About 70-80 percent of the group of working women have been confirmed to face sexual assault incidents, unwilling or powerless to ask for a strict legislation to curtail these actions. Even after being familiar with the policies and practices followed by an organisation to address the issue of sexual harassment females are not able to raise their voice against the harasser. Sexual harassment has really become a matter of worry today as the cases are increasing at a very high pace. The ultimate goal of the study is to highlight the types of sexual harassment faced by female at work, what females do when they were sexually harassed and what are the procedures and practices followed by the organisations to resolve the issue of sexual harassment.
