The heritage buildings from Dutch colonial period in Indonesia had sustained transformation in pursuit to survive. Formerly space designed for the activity needs at that time, changed the architectural and interior functions into commercial space. Despite the fact that the shape of the building does not change, the function transformation is required since it must be adapted to today needs as the changes of time. In De Tjolomadoe, the role of colonial building is revitalized, which consumers can enjoy even though it means altering the meaning of origin. This new settings become popular visual backgrounds to occupied the needs of self-actualization in social media. Consumers that were born from the present day, are trying to feel the sensation of moving to the past through colonialism atmosphere. There were changes in the identity space, exploration of memory in the development of social media makes this building continues to survive and sustainable. This research focused on how transformation is taking place on conservation building's identity when it is converted into a commercial space and why this change is accepted by society.

The present study examines the negotiation of gender identity in the Japanese YAOI genre by focusing on the YAOI doujinshi (fan-made manga consisting of love stories between two male characters) titled, Love Heat at Tropical Island. More specifically, based on Kitzinger’s concept of heterosexuality and Yomota’s basic manga character codes, this study performs a textual analysis of the comic panels in order to determine how the authors (in this case, the Indonesian fujoshi) depict their vision of gender relation negotiation. The findings show that the negotiation of gender relation in the work is transnational, i.e., the acculturation of Japanese, Indonesian, and Western gender identity.

Songs and music for human life have economic value, so songwriters and music have the right to benefit from the economic value. The creator or copyright holder often cannot maintain his own rights and submit to the Collective Management Organization whose duty is to collect royalties and then distribute to those who are entitled. The collection of existing royalties is still done manually with a wholesale system so that it often causes problems between song and music users and Collective Management Organization. With the presence of digital technology, it will certainly be easier to determine the amount of royalty that will be collected and distributed. By using digital technology, collecting royalties can be more transparent and provide legal certainty. As the results, it is found that song and music users prefer to use digital technology because it is clear that the obligation must be paid by the user, and transparent to the creator or copyright holder.

The grants violating legitiemeportie is sometimes canceled by a judicial institution such as in the Medan District Court verdict No. 506/Pdt.G/2008/PNMdn. One of its decisions states that the grant deed becomes null and void by the law. Therefore, it is necessary to study the rights of heirs to their parents' assets that have been granted and have been renamed on behalf of the recipient of the grant, and to determine the legal consequences due to the cancellation of the land right transfer certificate. This research is a legal research. The method used is a normative legal research with a descriptive analysis. The findings show that the heirs are allowed to file claims to calculate or return all the properties previously received from the dead during his lifetime into the origin wealth (boedel) calculation to be shared with other heirs. In this case, the family relationship between the heirs and their stepmother (the wife of the owner) is in a conflict. The object being sued is a house which is neglected thus disturbing the surrounding housing complex.

The body of knowledge on Corporate Social Responsibility has grown tremendously over the past few decades. However, there are still gaps in the literature regarding CSR and its role in enhancing corporate strategy. This article aims at filling some of those gaps on whether CSR do enhance Brand Image and Corporate Reputation and influence Purchase Intention. List of questionnaires were distributed across Jabodetabek area with total respondents of 440. This study only considered respondents with knowledge on CSR activities performed by selected companies, and with that consideration 267 respondents were screen out from this research. Covariance Based SEM was performed as the statistical analysis since no significant deviation from normality was found on the data. This study found that CSR significantly influence Brand Image, Corporate Reputation and Purchase Intention. While the factor of Brand Image and Corporate Reputation significantly mediated the relationship between CSR and Purchase Intention.

As one of UNESCO Design City, Bandung is committed to develop its designbased public facilities and creativity, including revamping of city parks, arrangement of sidewalks and other public facilities. Street furniture theme is taken as research material, based by existence as one of the main tools in public space and facilities which become an important indicator public space quality of the city. Therefore it is necessary to have an appropriate analysis of the street furniture application and integrated in accordance with its capacity as a world design city. This research will examine the existence of street furniture at Bandung strategic points in its context as City of Design, by taking Visual Research method. It is expected that this research can be the initial input for the establishment of a guidelines for other cities in Indonesia to create cities that are design friendly, using sustainable materials and comfortable for its users.

Indonesia reflect the natural diversity and splendor of the routes, moorings, and interiors among thousands of sea-bounded land masses forming this archipelago.Through this research writer will discuss one of the results culture originating in Indonesia, namely Buginese Phinisi ship. Buginese Phinisi ship is sustainability design because the Phinisi ship already exists in 14 century and continue to exist till this day, even a design are continuing developed according the global developments. This Study, Researcher use qualitative descriptive methodology based on picture, literature, and references after that researcher analyze data with STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positions Product).

Academic writing is introduced to higher education students since the first year at BINUS University. A course named English for Academic Writing focuses on the development and improvement of academic writing skills in the English language of students in Global Class. The respondents are the students of Computer Science and Information System. Data was collected through an onlinesurvey filled by the students, and interview with the lecturer. The collected data will be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. This paper discusses the perception of students on the improvement of academic writing skills applied in writing an abstract, introduction, literature review, methodology, andreferences. The students mentioned skills such as citing, paraphrasing, referencing, quoting, problem/topic statement writing, finding/result writing were hard to be learned. The students practiced those skills manually and using the feature in Microsoft Words. The result will provide data and information about the improvement made, so the teaching-learning activities applied could become suggestions or feedbacks for the respective class and parallel classes. Therefore, this papersupports the building of students’ capacity in English academic writing skills for sustainable development in education.

One of the causes of land disputes is the conflict about the right of land ownership. it is the problem of land registration in Indonesia. The sources of Agrarian Law in Indonesia are derived from adat (customary) law, including the principle of rechtsverwerking. This principle explains about the expiration of land claim when the certificate of land ownership has published. Therefore, the problem in this paper is to question about how the application of the rechtsverwerking principle in settling land cases in Indonesia. The result found that the regulation and the court jurisprudence related to the regulation of the rechtsverwerking principle often used by people to occupy another people’s land. It represents from the case of land ownership disputes. The disputes on land need to be reduced by make the implementation of the rechtsverwerking principle more certain so that it will promote the just, peaceful and inclusive societies.
