RECONSTRUCTION OF PAST SETTLEMENTS IN AN AUDIO-VISUAL FORM 以视听的形式重建过去的聚落

People’s living in the past has always became a big question for everyone, not only archeology. Unfortunately the answers to these questions are sometimes difficult to understand directly by public. It takes an effort to provide an answer that is easily accepted by the public. One of them is to build the mindset of archeology students to be able to make archaeological research products that are more popular and useful. This study seeks to apply a project-based learning model to the Ancient Settlement course. Students are assigned to conduct research to reconstruct past settlements around Jambi based on their traces. The results of this research are then narrated in the form of a documentary and uploaded to an online video sharing service. Based on the research results, research products in the form of audio-visual media are more accessible to the general public. In addition, the current generation of “digital native” students also seems to find it easier to narrate research results through audio-visual media compared to textual narration.

OPTIMIZATION OF ONLINE LEARNING IN BLANKSPOT AREA 空白区在线学习的优化

The purpose of this study was to determine the optimization of online learning in the Blank Spot area at SMP Negeri 2 Pulau Hanaut. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects in this study were 2 teachers of class VII and VIII, at SMP Negeri 2 Pulau Hanaut while the informants were 2 (two) students of class VII and VIII. Online learning uses learning media in the form of the Whatsaap application and LKS which for Whatsapp itself is the media used by the teacher to interact with students as well as information from the teacher to students, especially in social studies learning which is carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Pulau Hanaut. While the LKS media is the media used by the teacher in determining the material discussed and giving assignments by the teacher to students. Optimization of Online Learning in Blank Spot Areas at SMP Negeri 2 Pulau, one of which is a wifi kiosk facility that provides paid wifi facilities as well as wifi facilities in schools that can be used free of charge by students even though they are used interchangeably. Implementation of online learning conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Hanaut Island has obstacles including: The location of the school which is in the Blank Spot area, Frequent power outages in the village resulting in dead Wifi access, a small number of students do not have cellphone facilities

INTEREST IN LEARNING BY USING VISUAL MEDIA IN SOCIAL STUDIES SUBJECTS 对在社会研究科目中使用视觉媒体学习有兴趣

The purpose of this study was to find out students' interest in learning by using visual media in social studies subjects in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Sampit for the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects in this study were 3 (tree) grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sampit who were taken by one representative from 3 classes while the informants were social studies teachers who taught 3 (three) grade VIII students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the use of visual media in the social studies learning process can increase student learning interest as seen from students paying more attention when the teacher explains learning material, feelings of pleasure, interest in the material because it is not boring and fosters curiosity, and satisfaction when learning social studies using Visual media can improve understanding and memory of learning material besides that in terms of student satisfaction they feel quite satisfied learning social studies using visual media because of the importance of innovation and creativity of social studies teachers in designing and making visual learning media so that they can help achieve social studies learning goals.

LECTURERS AND STUDENTS' RECEPTION OF FACE-TO-FACE LEARNING IN THE NEW NORMAL PERIOD 新常态下教师和学生对面对面学习的接受情况

This study aims to describe the acceptance of lecturers and students towards the implementation of face-to-face learning during the new normal period, to analyze the reasons for choosing learning methods, as well as their acceptance and expectations of face-to-face learning. Data collection was carried out through structured interviews using Google Forms with 15 lecturers and 35 students from the Department of Social Sciences FKIP ULM. The results showed that most lecturers preferred online learning (84%), while students were almost balanced between online (54%) and offline (46%) methods. The majority of lecturers choose online learning because of the pandemic, while some students prefer face-to-face because it is considered effective. The study recommends implementing the hybrid learning model while adhering to health protocols and infrastructure requirements according to the Circular Letter of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture Number 4 of 2021.

Online learning, an event that feels foreign to many stakeholders, but with technological developments it will slowly sync with the changing times. Educational technology is able to replace the stereotypical way of learning into a new one. learning activities using the lecture method and updated using interactive learning (for example using media), using innovative learning emphasizing on process skills, student centered and active earning. as a result deliver positive innovations for student learning. Although the design of information technology-based media must have exclusive skills, it is not that the media should be avoided or abandoned, studying it can be done with various literatures such as books and the internet. Learning media using news technology can be internet, cellphone, flash disk, power point, internet classroom, e-mail, YouTube, and there are still many media that can be used. use includes components of Learning content (LC) and Learning Management System (LMS). so that with the advancement of dynamic technological developments, it is hoped that it will have an impact on the Indonesian generation who will become progressive, transformative, and not beleaguered in the frozen mindset of life. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING MODEL ON GEOGRAPHY LEARNING OUTCOMES 基于问题的学习模式对地理学习效果的影响

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of problem-based learning models on geography learning outcomes. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The sampling method is purposive sampling with samples of class X IPS 1 as the experiment class and class X IPS 2 as the control class. The techniques in data collection used are tests, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results show a difference between learning outcomes using a problem-based model and learning outcomes without problem-based models. The problem-based learning model is effective in learning outcomes of Geography class X social studies SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Badauh. Student learning outcomes in the experimental type have increased significantly because, in the learning process, students play an active role in finding the concept of learning materials so that students can apply these concepts to identify existing problems. Problem-based learning model provides a more concrete learning experience so that the understanding students get in learning is not limited to textual but to a broader mastery of the material.

ANALYSIS OF THE LIFESTYLE OF ANIME AND MANGA FANS IN SURAKARTA CITY 泗水市动漫迷的生活方式分析

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the emergence of Otaku who are fans of Japanese sub-culture in the form of anime and manga in Surakarta City. How is their behavior or lifestyle and what are their reasons for identifying themselves as Otaku. This research will describe the lifestyle of Otaku and how they interpret anime, manga and themselves as Otaku. This qualitative research uses an ethnographic approach in which data sources are events, informants and documents. This study used a purposive sampling technique in which researchers conducted interviews, observations and documentation while researching. The data validity technique was carried out by triangulating data from documents with interview results. This study found that some otaku interpret anime and manga as more than just entertainment.

The precious metal in the form of gold in Kalirejo Village has brought disaster. As there is a horizontal conflict, namely conflict among citizens. The purpose of this paper is to look at the dynamics of horizontal conflict and its resolution in Kalirejo Village using Moore's triangle of statistics approach. This research uses a qualitative method, namely analytical descriptive with a collective case study strategy to look at the conflicts that occurred in the period from 2009 to 2014. The result is that the dynamics of conflict over natural resources at the horizontal level cannot be avoided. Whereas the conflict resolution offered does not get satisfaction from one party who is harmed both in a transparent, procedural, and psychological way that has been done on this conflict phenomenon

DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA USING GOOGLE SITES TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' ABILITIES 利用谷歌网站开发学习媒体,提高学生能力

The development of online learning media is increasingly important in today's digital era, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic which forced the process of distance learning. This study aims to develop learning media using Google Sites and evaluate its effect on students' abilities in terms of understanding the material and practical skills. The literature study method was used to evaluate the results of previous similar studies and provide a broader understanding of this topic. The results of the study show that the development of online learning media using Google Sites can improve students' abilities in terms of understanding material and practical skills, using technology that is familiar to students can increase their learning motivation. This study also compares the results with previous similar studies, including research that examined offline learning media. This helps provide a broader understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of online and offline learning media. In conclusion, the development of online learning media using Google Sites can be an effective alternative for distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it should be noted that the use of online learning media does not completely replace the use of offline learning media. Further research with a larger and more diverse sample is recommended to generalize the results of this study more broadly.

AbstrakFlood disasters that occur in Satui District almost occur every year, in 2019 there were six villages affected by flooding in Satui District, the purpose of this study was to find out the causes of floods that occurred in Satui District, and the efforts of the government and the community in minimizing the risk of loss in dealing with floods. flood disaster or better known as disaster mitigation. Mitigation activities include preparation before a disaster occurs, handling when a disaster occurs, evacuating residents affected by floods, and socializing disaster mitigation after a flood which can be socialized through social studies education that specifically discusses social issues. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include; interviews, observations and documentation of data analysis starting from reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of the study illustrate that the flood disaster that occurred in Satui District, Tanah Bumbu Regency is caused because it is a lowland if high rainfall will cause flooding, the government's efforts in implementing mitigation have not been maximized so it is necessary to disseminate information to the community by making flood disaster mitigation a learning resource for social studies class. VII junior high school level.
