The life of the river community in South Kalimantan with the dynamics that surround it over time has undergone a cultural transformation. The cultural transformation that is sometimes so fast makes the orientation of the people change too. These changes are recorded and illustrated in the works of painters from South Kalimantan through scratches on canvas. This research has the aim of being an inventory as well as an insight into the meaning behind river paintings in South Kalimantan as a representation of past communities. The historical method is used to explore data and facts from events left by historical actors, both in the form of writing, paintings, and relics that they have used. Changes in the people of South Kalimantan can be seen or traced through historical research. The results of this study can clearly describe the social reality and beauty of the river communities in South Kalimantan which have changed through the painter's strokes in pictures from time to time. This reality can provide a new understanding of painting as an aesthetic portrait of the traces of the past. Thus, river painting in South Kalimantan can be viewed from various aspects, one of which is through its historiography.

Face-to-face learning (PTM) during the pandemic does not provide comfort for students and social studies teachers in learning at school. Learning requires students and teachers to strictly carry out PROKES, from wearing masks to not being allowed to gather. In addition to students, teachers face the same problem when required to complete curriculum targets (emergency) with shorter study times. The aims of this study are to (1) describe the implementation of learning during a pandemic; (2) the constraints experienced during the implementation of PTM during the pandemic; (3) Implementation of PTM which is expected to overcome the obstacles faced during the pandemic. The subjects of this study were principals, teachers and students in the city of Banjarmasin as many as 37 people. Structured interviews were conducted via google form. Data were analyzed by following the Miles and Huberman models. This article concludes that the choice of learning methods with PTM in the midst of a pandemic, according to students the most important thing is that it is easier to accept lessons and more effective communication with fellow friends and teachers. Social studies teachers are easier to condition the class so that the material that has been prepared is easier to convey. The main obstacle for PTM is the shorter study time so that the curriculum targets are difficult to achieve. Second, the difficulty of communicating between students and teachers because they have to carry out strict PROKES both in the use of masks and prohibition of gathering. This study recommends a more comprehensive investigation of the implementation of PTM in order to find the right formulation for the implementation of PTM to run effectively.

This study aims to describe the science-based contextual learning model applied in kindergarten in North Banjarbaru District during the pandemic, by adopting the type of development research. The tool used in this research is a science-based contextual learning tool developed by the researcher, so the tool must be tested before being used. Based on the findings, it is known that so far teachers have not designed learning tools according to the 2013 curriculum, where in the curriculum there are six aspects of development that must be carried out, including aspects of religious and moral values, social emotional, cognitive, language, physical motor, and art. . Where in presenting the themes and sub-themes, it must refer to these six aspects by presenting them in an integrated manner, it means linking the indicators developed in these aspects related to the sub-themes that have been selected or determined. The learning implementation plan made by the teacher only contains an assessment sheet in the form of a checklist, while to find out all aspects of child development, several assessment techniques are needed when the teacher provides learning and observes children while in the school environment.
