LoRaWAN gateway coverage evaluation for smart city applications 面向智慧城市应用的LoRaWAN网关覆盖评估

The meaning of the term smart city has undergone changes over the last decades. However, smart city services nowadays are gaining popularity worldwide. Russia is not an exception. Today, the possible applications of smart city services cover a wide range of sectors – from energy production, distribution and consumption to sustainable mobility and waste management. All the innovative services require millions of monitoring sensors and control devices to be connected between each other and to a management platform. Hence, new types of wireless communication networks that meet the specific requirements of smart city services are needed. LoRaWAN is the most promising M2M (Machine-to-Machine) communication technology among other LPWANs such as NB-IoT and SigFox. Conducted field study of LoRaWAN gateway coverage in different conditions shows the LoRaWAN attenuation coefficient in conditions of city center and outskirt and reveals the factors on which the signal attenuation coefficient depends.

Investigation of Ultra-Wide Band Local Positioning System Accuracy Using Precise Laser Equipment 基于精密激光设备的超宽带局部定位系统精度研究

In this paper accuracy of ultra-wide band local positioning system is investigated. This work is organized as follows: firstly, relevance of carried out research is justified in Introduction, purpose of studies and tasks for achieving it are presented in second section Problem statement, system overview and its operation principle is explained in third section (System overview), anchor deployment technique using two laser levels and one laser rangefinder with experimental set-ups and results of conducted field experiment are described in fourth and fifth sections (Experiment methodology and Experiment results) respectively and, finally, conclusions about experiment and direction of future work are provided in the last section (Conclusion). The overall value of the average norm of positioning error for the entire work area was 15.6 cm, standard deviation of positioning error – 5.8 cm, level 0.95 confidence interval for positioning error-24.6 cm.

Considered controlled ventilation system for electric motor. The analysis of the heat balance and obtain an expression that allows to take into account the humidity and ventilation rate. Compiled block diagrams of motor thermal model and the automated control system. The simulation charts and received transients for different modes of operation. The analysis and the dependence of the steady value of temperature rise of thermal power. The influence of the inertia of the electric fan on system performance. Described the use of the motor temperature feedback, that allows control of the electric fan drive functioning.

Development of a Micro-Power Systems Model for the Study of Price-Dependent Management Method 基于价格相关管理方法的微电力系统模型的建立

Features of electric energy as a commodity, due to its physical properties, determine the need to continuously maintain a balance of production and consumption. In the absence of special measures to stimulate consumers, the demand for electric energy does not depend or does not depend much on prices in the market, consumers do not reduce consumption when the price increases. Therefore, in this paper, a micro-power system model was developed using the Simscape Electrical library in the MATLAB software package, consisting of a diesel generator, a solar and wind power plant, an electric energy storage device, and a controlled load to test the automatic load control method. With the help of MATLAB Function blocks using the code of the price-dependent reduction consumption algorithm, various abnormal modes associated with climatic conditions for power supply systems and wind power plants are modeled.

Energy and economic assessment of composite products production on the example of pipe products 以管材产品为例,进行复合材料产品生产的能源与经济评价

The increasing consumption of resources with simultaneously low energy efficiency of production of products, determines the relevance of issues of production of products with minimal energy costs. The article presents the competitive advantages of pipe products made of composite materials in comparison with steel products, and estimates the energy costs of pipe production. As an alternative estimate of possible energy costs for the production of pipe products, the energy costs for the production of continuous basalt fiber are considered. The estimation of energy and economic costs for the production of new types of products made of composite materials is presented. It is shown that the energy intensity of production of one meter of pipe made of composite materials based on basalt fiber is 68 times lower than the production of a similar pipe made of steel.

Magnetic Bearing with HTS Tapes for Flywheel Energy Storage System 飞轮储能系统用高温超导带磁轴承

This work is devoted to the development of a contactless magnetic bearing based on high-temperature superconductors for a flywheel energy storage system (FESS). Electromagnetic calculations of various designs of hightemperature superconducting (HTS) bearings are presented, their force characteristics are analyzed. The construction of the magnetic bearing based on HTS tapes has been developed for use in FESS. The force characteristics in the axial and radial directions for the developed magnetic bearing are given. The operation of the flywheel with developed HTS bearings was studied using the model of the dynamics in Matlab Simulink.

Mathematical Modeling of Noise Attenuation in Dissipative Silencers of Irregular Shape 不规则形状耗散消声器噪声衰减的数学建模

Analyzed the using of mathematical modeling of noise silencers for the power industry. Results allow to determine its acoustic characteristics. The most important characteristics of silencers are their acoustic efficiency and aerodynamic drag. These two factors need to consider together. Aerodynamic drag imposes restrictions on the use of silencers. Improvement in the design of industrial silencers leads to the sophistication of their shapes. Difficulties arise to use known formulas for calculating the acoustic efficiency of such silencers. Analyzed the mathematical models and the physical characteristics of materials. Also, information on material properties depending on the selected model. Discussing the information about the limits of applicability dissipative silencers models. Carried out a mathematical simulation of a silencer. Results compared with known acoustic efficiency from the experiment for verification. Presented the results of modeling a silencer with variable plate thickness.

Boundary – value static problem and modeling of elastic deformations of structures 结构弹性变形的边值静力问题与建模

The problem of determining the undeformed (natural) configuration of a body for a given deformed state is solved. The mathematical model for this problem is based on the solution of the boundary value problem of the theory of elasticity in the non-classical formulation, obtained in [1]. The final state is the domain for determining the equations of equilibrium and compatibility of deformations, as well as boundary conditions. This state of equilibrium is considered to be given, not sought. Otherwise, it is impossible to mathematically correctly indicate the positions of the forces distributed in the volume and on the surface of the body. It turned out that with this approach, the final deformations can be described by linear tensors of displacement gradients at any values of the latter. The displacements determined by the Cesaro’s formulas represent those displacements that bring the body into the region of the final (deformed) state. They are used to find the coordinates of the points of the initial state of the body and build its configuration.

Using a neural network in a thermophysical problem 在热物理问题中使用神经网络

This current work examines the use of an artificial neural network to predict the minimum film boiling temperature of a subcooled liquid at atmospheric and elevated pressures. To train the neural network, it was used more than 2000 different experimental data points were obtained during experiments on the experimental facility. In the current work, several models with different input parameters were considered. Liquid subcooling $Delta$Tsub, thermophysical properties of the wall, thermophysical properties of liquid, Prandtl number Pr, Grashof number Gr, the linear scale of the cooled body D are used as input parameters. The output of the neural network is wall overheating $Delta$ Tw. For training, 3 hidden layers with the number of neurons (15,10,3) are used. On average, after training, the prediction error for each model is ±30K, the root-mean-square error is about 10%.

A consumer-based approach to the design of distributed energy systems with solar photovoltaic generation 基于消费者的太阳能光伏发电分布式能源系统设计方法

This paper describes how the design of distributed energy systems (DES) with renewable energy sources, particularly solar photovoltaic (PV) generation, could be improved with an approach based on the management of electricity consumption and behavior of end-users. With the use of HOMER Grid software, a grid-connected DES with three different load profiles has been designed, simulated, and compared in terms of performance and cost-effectiveness. Using demand flexibility to shift consumer loads throughout the day to better match the availability of renewable energy sources could represent a valuable key to enhancing DES development with regulated customers by increasing the penetration of renewables in the energy mix and subsequently increasing savings on utility bills.
