Nowadays, Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) poses a good solution for waste heat recovery. In this research, we have chosen the appropriate working fluid for ORC to be tested and worked out among a range of wet and isentropic working fluids available to us in the domestic market. A test bench for the ORC has been developed to recover heat at temperature $85^{circ}mathrm{C}$ using R141b, which resulted in a thermal efficiency about 2.24% due to the low efficiency of the equipment. In spite of the low thermal efficiency of ORC, it is effective in heat recovery processes.

This review article considers various algorithms of optimization methods for solving local and global optimization problems in automatic control theory. The necessity, essence and features of deterministic, stochastic and evolutionary methods and their algorithms will be described. As well as their mathematical and logical basis. The result of the work will be a comparative characterization of the advantages and disadvantages of the described methods and optimization algorithms, determining the level of efficiency and the amount of resources needed for each of them.

The use of radio absorbing materials makes it possible to reduce the reflected electromagnetic fields from the structural elements, housings of on board instruments and devices of spacecraft. For spacecraft, it is necessary to use radio absorbing materials that do not change the frequency responses of the reflection coefficient at extreme space temperatures. The results of studies of the reflection coefficient of the radio absorbing material TPMV-1S which intend for use on spacecraft are presented. Based on carried out research it was concluded that this radio absorbing material TPMV-1S can be used to reduce electromagnetic fields on board of spacecraft via space flight.

The article presents method of estimating the current technical condition of condensers of steam turbines of TPP by several indicators, the change of which in aggregate indicates the presence of a defect in the condenser stack. Failure of the condensing unit results in forced turbine downtime. In terms of failure frequency, condensing plants are in leading positions, relative to the rest of the heat exchange equipment. The main causes of the condensing plant failures include the untimely replacement of the condenser pipes. The use of this method can allow you to switch from the system of planned preventive repairs to repair according to the current technical condition.

This language is very popular in data science, mathematical statistics and other calculations. Here we start with static RMarkdown documents including Markdown markup and code written on R language in the same file. Then we consider dynamic applications named Shiny which contain R-code for calculations and interaction with user. Shiny allows one to significantly improve the presentation of educational or scientific material to the audience in person or remotely through web technologies.

The article is devoted to the issues of increasing the power and torque on the shaft of a subminiature electric motor with excitation by permanent magnets based on rare earth materials. The essential feature of the design of the electric motor in question is a glass stator made by polycapillary fiber technology. The motor excitation system is a two-pole permanent magnet. The values of magnetic induction and electromagnetic moment for several variants of the rotor design were obtained by finite element modeling.

This paper presents results of investigating of ferroresonance occurrence conditions in a simple RLC with a nonlinear inductance. The physical approach is used for this investigation. Ferroresonance is considered as a periodical process existing in the circuit. The real magnetizing curve of the inductance has been approximated by piecewise-linear function. Ferroresonance thus is a succession of transients with each of the inductance values, defined by approximation. The created model of ferroresonance phenomenon defines its main characteristics. Based on these characteristics, investigation resulted in analytical equations determining boundaries of ferroresonance occurrence area as a function of the circuit parameters.

The analysis of the operation modes of power supply systems with nonlinear load connected to a transformer winding with the secondary winding and cleavage of the linear load and a capacitor bank connected to another transformers windings performed. The modes of daily variation of the linear load and the corresponding regulation of the capacitor bank power for a typical range of 110/10 kV transformers with a power of 25 SO MVA are considered. It has been established that the allocation of a nonlinear load to a separate bus section improves the quality of the voltage on the linear load buses and reduces the current overload of the capacitors with higher harmonics currents. It is shown that switching reactors in series with capacitors eliminates problems with the quality of voltage at the linear load.

This article focuses on the application of a battery storage system in order to reduce fluctuations in the power output of a wind farm integrated into the power system. The article shows the development of an algorithm that allows determining the power and capacity of the battery energy storage system to ensure a decrease in power output fluctuations, taking into account the limitations related to the peculiarities of the wind farm and energy storage operations. The developed algorithm was applied to a model of a real electrical network including wind farms. At the end of the article, a comparative analysis of the results obtained using the developed algorithm against the results obtained using the algorithm based on low frequencies was carried out.

In this regard, the tasks of developing energy-efficient technical solutions and a regulatory framework for the environmentally friendly employment of used petroleum products as fuel are considered urgent. The organizational and technical aspects that should be taken into account when solving these problems in order to obtain an energy-saving effect are formulated. The results of the research form the basis for the development of a regulatory document establishing technical conditions for the application of boiler and furnace fuels from used petroleum products.
