We have obligation and duty to help our fellow citizens when they face the threat of displacement. In this paper, we first predicted the number of EDPs, by fitting to get the rate of sea level rise increasing at first, and then by dividing EDPs into the number of gradual refugees and extreme disaster refugees. This paper divide culture into natural culture and human culture, and assess their risk of loss, and give the percentage of natural culture destroyed and the curve of the disappearance of human culture, which provides ideas for the cultural protection of the following text. Finally, in order to explore how these policies have impact on EDPs' ability to better adapt to responsible countries, this paper create an HLOY model to classify populations for the purpose of teaching.

The Woman Warrior, written by Maxine Hong Kingston, depicts some either real or imaginary stories focusing on five women, with several male images connected with those mainly portrayed females. However, the two couples in “White Tigers” maintain a kind of harmonious relationship and bear some subversive character features, compared with others in the novel, even in other literary works. This paper makes an analysis of the two couples’ major characteristics through close reading, explores the probable causes by seeking the cultural origins and from the perspective of historical criticism, and then draws the conclusion that the two couples are testaments to androgyny, which, indeed, cannot go without Eastern philosophy, Western mythology and the experiences of Maxine Hong Kingston.

This article is an analytical review of Samuel Beckett's supreme representation of the absurd, Waiting for Godot, which aims mainly at stressing Schopenhauer’s presence in this work from two aspects: the aesthetic idea and pessimism. In Schopenhauerian aesthetics, one way to recognize thing-in-itself is to get rid of time, space, and causality, which is a noticeable characteristic in Waiting for Godot, and the suffering of life, the core of Schopenhauer's pessimism, is also an essential element in this play. This paper will attempt to interpret Waiting for Godot from these two perspectives, which might help to illuminate how Schopenhauer's ideas have influenced Samuel Beckett in his early works.

The essay explores the growing influence of Facebook, a location-based social application, on personal memory archiving. Facebook can contribute to memory storage, offering new ways for users to record their current feelings, ideas and experiences, especially as related to places. In this sense, the location services facilitate the documentation of memory, and Facebook makes it possible for people to locate a place and remember what happened at that place. Facebook also encourages users to create new memories, including place-based memory and social relational memories, and various location functions such as the Nearby tab provide a wide variety of choices of places users may be interested in. Due to the increased popularity of sharing and commenting on updates on Facebook, social interactions have also been enhanced, which enables people to make more social memories.

At the end of 2019, the COVID-19 broke out in the whole China. The epidemic had various transmission routes and strong infectiousness, which seriously affected the social operation. For a period of time, amid the general trend of slowing production and calling for the closing of doors, all kinds of religious gatherings were seriously affected. At the beginning of 2020, China's economy was boosted and epidemic prevention and control became normal. The special studies on the Buddhist culture of Mount Wutai in Shanxi Province, China, the Mount Wutai Studies, in religious practice, disease treatment, ecological construction, religious governance and other aspects are consistent with epidemic prevention, contributing disciplinary wisdom to COVID-19 prevention and control, and has the practical significance of improving the effectiveness of anti-epidemic and promoting the development of local people's livelihood.

This paper uses a grounded theory approach to conduct semi-structured interviews with 15 employees of a large state-owned enterprise around the issue of employee work stress and physical and mental health. This was followed by a three-level coding with the help of NVIVO 11 to reveal the impact of challenge/hindrance stressor on employees' physical/mental health and the moderating effect of organizational support and self-efficacy on this relationship.

With the improvement of people's living standard in China, the amount of municipal solid wastes (MSW) has been increasing year by year, and resulted in serious environmental issues. Developing diverse classification and recycling technologies for treating municipal solid wastes is an effective solution to such problem, which can maximizes the utilization of wastes, reduces the amount of waste disposal and improves the living environment. This paper analyzes the Shanghai municipal wastes sorting programmed and concludes the following reasons for its first-stage success, including a well-designed recycling structure, a high-value food wastes reduction and recycling system, a low value-added wastes re-utilization system, various treatment technologies and the corresponding policy supports.

John Bull’s Other Island is George Bernard Shaw’s a rare play set in Ireland, which is doomed to reflect the problems between England and Ireland. According to Homi Bhabha’s theory, it can be found that Shaw not only reflects the conflicts between colonizers and the colonized through the construction of the binary opposition but reveals how the colonized weakens the dominant power of colonizers by deconstructing the hierarchical power scheme and building a hybrid identity. Meanwhile, by virtue of Keegan and Doyle, Shaw expresses his cosmopolitan viewpoints, reveals that independence is not a panacea for the problems of Ireland and accurately predicts the future of Ireland in the coming postcolonial era, which gives an important warning to Irish and reference to other countries.
