Da maneira como é apresentado no ensino escolar no Brasil, a Idade Média, é um período Histórico que se inicia em 476 com a queda de Roma e que termina com a de Constantinopla ou o fim da Guerra dos Cem Anos ambos os eventos em 1453. Depreciada, a ideia de Idade Média representa algo ruim na memória coletiva graças a uma cultura de desprezo produzida pelos renascentistas e perpetuada pelos iluministas. Fugindo desses preconceitos, a História, enquanto ciência apresentará este período com um novo olhar norteador (MACEDO, 2005). Brazil, in recent years, has been reaching a large influx of immigrants, most of them coming from border countries facing social, economic and political crisis, in search of better living conditions. They face many challenges in the new country and language is one of them. In order to supply this need for efficient communication by immigrants, the concept of Portuguese as Host Language (PHL) was born. Considering that this is an emerging area in Brazil, we aim to provide in this article valuable information for assertive teaching practices by analyzing the linguistic profile of learner immigrants of PHL based on data collected in questionnaires, interviews and narrative. The results suggest that the immigrant public has characteristics that differentiate them from learners of Portuguese as a foreign language, and the teacher in the PHL area should be aware of these specificities and prioritize activities that meet the needs of this public.

We propose to make in this work a brief theoretical discussion of the concepts of culture, identity and territory, understanding their “mobile” character, as well as the relationship with the historical, political and economic aspects in which they are inserted. Hall (2006) states that it is through language that we mean the world and give meaning to our social relationships. As we re-signify the world and these relationships, we also change the way we express them through language. Haesbaert (2008) addresses the need to think about such concepts from an integrating perspective, as approaching them in a dichotomous way doesn’t seem to correspond to the increasingly dynamic society in which we live. From these discussions, we approach territorial identities from the research of Morais (2016), in order to understand this hybrid concept, as well as its historical, political and economic implications in the context of the identity construction of Acre.

: The domain of reading directly reflects on the quality of learning, so it’s necessary to reflect on the practice of this in the classroom as a perspective of measuring the quality of teaching-learning at school. In this context, this study sought to reflect, through a bibliographic approach, on the importance of didactic-peda-gogical procedures for teaching reading in schools, in the light of authors such as Brasil (1996); Martins (1982); Kleimam (1999); Cagliari (1992); Freitag (1994); Geraldi (1995) e dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais do Ensino Fundamental (2001). Given this, for the development of the students’ taste and habit for reading, playful and pleasurable moments should be elucidated so that school spaces are used - as physical dependencies (library / reading room) - that encourage reading in playful moments and pleasurable, since this is an alternative that can overcome the difficulties shown in the discussions of the research to act in a perspective of the formation of citizens and, therefore, in the evolution of society.

RESUMO : Concepções de texto e ensino de linguagem à luz dos estudos em Linguística evocam discussões e contribuições para a prática docente. Realizou-se uma inves-tigação de natureza qualitativa analisando um corpus composto por exemplares de gêneros digitais. Destaca-se a abordagem curricular dos PCN, Brasil (1998) e da BNCC, Brasil (2018). Dessa forma, a pesquisa evidenciou que a imersão dos gêneros digitais no ensino fornece dinamismo e recursividade para desenvolver as competências e habilidades preconizadas pela BNCC. A qualitative investigation was carried out analyzing a corpus composed of copies of digital genres. The curricular approach of PCN, Brazil (1998) and BNCC, Brazil (2018) stands out. Thus, the research showed that the immersion of digital genres in teaching provides dynamism and recursion to develop the competencies and skills recommended by BNCC.

This article is to analyze text production proposals based on textual genre theories. To address the subject, it is conducted a survey of some theoretical issues related to working with textual genres in Portuguese language classes. Thus, there is the development of the language approach that includes aspects of textual genres. There are also some questions about the same work done in PLE classes. For the analysis of this article, the text production proposals of the last three editions of the Celpe-Bras Exam are observed, more specifically, the third and fourth tasks of the tests. This analysis sought to investigate whether such proposals actually followed the approach of a particular text genre, corroborating the teaching-learning process in PLE classes.
