With the development of metropolises, the application of environmental engineering in urban management is increasingly more apparent. When examining urban land use, not only the economic cost but the environmental cost of urban land-using project should be taken into account. In this paper, the Ecosystem Service Evaluation model group is established to understand the comprehensive costs of land-using project. Environment Development Index (EDI) and Environment Carrying Capability (ECC) are defined respectively to evaluate biosphere quality and the ability of biosphere to provide service. According to the ecosystem theory, Ecosystem Service Evaluation model is established based on logistic regression to explore how does ECC change with the variation of EDI and Environmental Cost Accounting model is established to transfer the decrease of ECC into the environment cost. Based on the principle of productivity change approach and feedback theory, the comprehensive cost considering environmental factors can be calculated by integrating the time function of ECC.

With the establishment of recent information system networks, maritime vessel trajectory data are becoming increasingly available. Spatial pattern mining in these data can measure the behaviour of ships in space and time and can be used in traffic monitoring or other security purpose. The difficulty of this topic is that it needs to deal with both highdimensional data and huge amount of data.In this paper, a cooccurrence pattern mining algorithm based on Mapreduce architecture is presented. The algorithm is focused on the mining on spatial co-occurrence pattern, and implemented in the parallel partitioning architecture. The experiments on real data sets show that the large-scale ship trajectory data can be processed effectively.

The study on comprehensive risk assessment of gravity-wharf structural failure is of great significance in engineering application. In this paper, the main economic, social and environmental risks caused by the failure of gravity wharf are identified by using the fishbone diagram method, and the main failure consequences of gravity-wharf structure such as life loss, economic loss, social and environmental impact are quantified, and AHP method is used to determine the weight. The linear weighted sum method is used to construct the comprehensive assessment coefficient of consequences and the assessment standard of failure risk level of gravity-wharf structure is established based on ALARP principle. Combined with the overall failure probability analysis of gravity-wharf serial system based on Rosenblueth method, the comprehensive assessment system of the economic, social and environmental risks of gravity-wharf structural failure which is established in this paper, can realize the comprehensive assessment of the economic, social and environmental risks of gravity-wharf structural failure. The study of caisson wharf structure shows that the comprehensive risk level caused by its failure is negligible risk, which can be acceptable.

With continuous application of work flow management systems in enterprises where higher requirements for work flow management systems are proposed, work flow management systems cannot determine all processes in advance, which are not static during execution. Therefore, in perspective of application, work flow engine based on finite state machine to build work flow model as above is designed as well as implemented in this paper so that changeable work flows and complex business logic can be adapted to reduce work flow and difficulty of users and developers. Each step of work flow can be regarded as a state and a process as a state machine. Besides it, complex businesses can also be described as shunting, aggregation, parallelism, and jump operations of state machine. What’s more, inherent essence and external manifestations of dynamic modification and adaptive work flow dynamics are analyzed at first, and distributed data management language namely ActiveXML is introduced as work flow model definition language. Additionally, work flow model that can be dynamically modified is created as well. Besides, adaptive work flow engine framework is designed, where dynamic modification rules and dynamic modification algorithms are given to process, and how to ensure consistency as well as correctness of data running in work flow system after dynamic modification is discussed.

In general, old renovation refers to renovation design of old towns, factories, villages and other old areas and spaces. In this article, “old renovation space” mainly refers to the renovation design of some old factory spaces and area in Shanghai. As one of the largest international cities in China, industrial area of Shanghai accounts for a much higher proportion than other cities of the same type, so its land use, transformation of industrial area have become a focus of Shanghai’s urban renewal. In the transformation of industrial areas, art intervention plays a significant role, due to various art intervention techniques are used in different old areas, as a result, the effects are different. In this article, a relative analysis is made on continuity and timeliness of art intervention in different places through taking art intervention in old factory building of surrounding public areas, as well as external & internal organization forms and existence state of old factory building as the breakthrough point. Meanwhile, the adaptability and possibility of the art forms composition in the old city transformation space were discussed and suggested.

This paper considers the static bike sharing repositioning operation that is essential to eliminate inventory imbalance among bike sharing stations caused by stochastic bike renting and returning in modern bike sharing systems. The operation aims to remove excess bike inventories from surplus stations and add needed bikes to insufficient stations in order to minimize both traveling cost and inventory cost. A hybrid variable neighborhood search (VNS) algorithm based on two grouping strategies is proposed to solve the static bike sharing re-positioning problem (s-BSRP). The two grouping strategies, namely, geolocation-based grouping and supply-demand-based grouping, are designed to construct station groups. Vehicle routes within each group and among groups are improved using a variable neighborhood search algorithm with local search, for which several neighborhood structures are designed. Extensive computational experiments are conducted on benchmark instances with various sizes taken from the literature. Performance of the proposed algorithm is compared with that of branch-and-cut and two other state-of-the-art algorithms. Computational results show the superior performance of the proposed grouping strategies and the hybrid VNS algorithm in solving large-scale BSRPs.

Aging is a major social problem in the process of rapid urbanizing China, but the current general elderly-care pattern usually emphasizes physical welfare and neglects spiritual wellbeing of the elderly. As the carrier of community spirit and memory, urban temples can meet new needs and realize social service value through space design. Taking the project of Xiao-putuo Guan-yin Temple as an example, this paper studies the spatial design of modern urban Buddhist temples from the aspects of function and spatial layout, dialogue between modernity and tradition, the shaping of religious atmosphere, and ecological planning and community garden. The study aims to provide useful reference for the construction of urban religious spaces in the aging society.

Based on thermodynamic and energy dissipation principles, and directed towards the repeated “tensile-compressive-tensile-compressive” stress of the concrete structure of the high-speed railway tunnel base, double scalar damage variables are defined, the hardening function is introduced, the elastoplastic Helmholtz free energy is amended, and the nonlinear stochastic damage constitutive model that describes strainsoftening of the concrete under tensile and compressive conditions is derived. In the effective stress space, the evolution rule of the damage variables is derived based on the normality rule of the plastic mechanics. After solving the probability density evolution equation, the numerical analysis solving algorithm of “elastic prediction-plastic amendment-damage amendment” was established. Further, secondary development of the program is performed, which realizes the numerical computation of the stochastic damage constitutive model. By comparing with the indoor uniaxial tensile and uniaxial compressive test results obtained in previous studies, the accuracy and the adaptability of the derived stochastic damage constitutive model were verified. This model not only reflects the stress–strain relationship of the concrete when in tension or compression in terms of the mean value but also simulates the discrete range in terms of probability, which closely reflects the non-linearity and randomness of the loading behaviour of the concrete. Through algorithm analysis, this model can be adopted to calculate the damage evolution rules and fatigue damage life of the tunnel base concrete.
