In this article the relation of the level of development of the production sector to the demographic state of the city was revealed. Factors influencing the development of demography in the city and models that need to be built for further research have been identified. All models will be built in the program "PowerSim". The first model of the housing sector was built, which displays all the necessary variables. The constants and variables, which should be introduced to construct a model of population size, have been determined. Considering the built model, it is concluded that with the increase in the number of jobs, the birth rate increases (due to a number of positive factors). A level model of the number of jobs was built to show the links between increasing jobs, increasing the general well-being of the population and increasing the birth rate. The following graphs and tables have been added for illustration of the built-up model: Parameters of population - parameter of "land and housing", drawing "Population" and "Share of builtup land", deflecting corresponding growth of indicators. The output interface of the program is shown at the start of our model , with which the main conclusions are made.

In this paper, the parameters of the two different automatic voltage regulation (AVR) system models are estimated using operational data of synchronous generator (SG). The operational data are obtained from the simulation model of the complete AVR system, which is developed using the technical documentation of the excitation system of 40 MVA SG from the hydropower plant (HPP) Perucica in Montenegro. The parameters of the considered AVR system models are extracted using a metaheuristic equilibrium optimizer (EO) algorithm. The mutual comparison between the two considered models, in terms of accuracy and precision, is provided.

Unlike the systematic/algorithmic approach, the heuristic approach to the professional design of technical systems is based on experience, intuition and the exploitation of readily available information. The main value of readily available information is precisely that it is "readily available" - it does not have to be reliable or applicable. When the systematic approach is not satisfactory for some reason, the heuristic approach is certainly useful, but with significant caution and indispensable experience of the designer. Unfortunately, the flood of information on the Internet has brought a false self-confidence to various profiles of inexperienced designers and their managers, which has led to the fact that the amateur and non-professional approach to design is often viewed as a professional heuristic approach. In the academic community the same effect led to a loss of understanding of the need for fundamental scientific and technical disciplines. In this paper, basic pros and cons of the algorithmic and heuristic approach are discussed, following by an illustrative example in which is described how an existing heuristic design can be approached by the use of fundamental undergraduate knowledge.

It is well known that signal transformations are very powerful and popular methods for signal and image processing. Because of its ability to decompose signals, signal analysis on form level is enabled. Therefore, there are many more or less known signal transformations in the scientific community. The most popular ones are Fourier transform, short time Fourier transform, Wavelet transform, Discrete cosine transform and those transforms are commonly mentioned in academic literature. On the other hand, Stockwell transform has self-adjusted window size, while fractional Stockwell transform improves the flexibility of time–frequency analysis and energy of signal spectra. Because of the above, in this paper Stockwell transform advantages and applications in the signal and image processing area are analyzed. Its features and parity to the other transformations is shown. Also, the most commonly used fractional transformations that improve standard transformations, because their ability of rotation, were listed.

This paper presents a comparison of different guest file systems on the specific hosted hypervisor. Chosen hypervisor was the VMware Workstation 15.1 and used file systems were XFS, Btrfs and ext4. To receive the most realistic results we decided to set identical virtual machines (VM) for all measurements: first with a single VM and latter with two VM running at the same time. The host operating system (OS) was Windows 10 and guest OS Centos 7.9. To analyze expected behavior from our hypothesis we have used Filebench measuring tool for getting test results.

This paper considers power definitions for unbalanced polyphase power systems with sinusoidal voltages and currents. Based on the regression model, novel formulations of apparent, reactive, and unbalanced powers using voltage and current covariance indicators have been derived. The definitions of total power factor, symmetry factor, and power displacement power factor are proposed using the Pearson correlation coefficient. The illustrative examples are given to confirm the validity and applicability of the proposed definitions.

The traditional way of doing business can no longer meet the needs of work and clients, and it is necessary to introduce information systems and new technologies into work processes and corporate management. Worldwide, governments have been developing information systems and e-government to provide better services to their citizens. Integration of information systems in public sectors, especially in government, can maximize business performance and productivity in relations between government and citizens. This paper aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the integration of information systems in e-government by evaluating bibliographic data for all articles indexed in the Scopus database. The science mapping and bibliometric analysis were conducted using the "bibliometrix" R package. Also, a graphical analysis of the bibliographic data was performed using VoSviewer. This study identified the main information about the implementation of information systems integration in e-government, the most productive authors, the most productive countries, the main keywords, and the main sources.

Wireless communications are extremely important segment of telecommunications. There are many available wireless technologies like 4G, 5G, WiFi, WiMAX to end users. User communication devices are often capable to support multiple wireless technologies. Thus, vertical handover (VHO) between different wireless technologies and network selection become important to user from economical and coverage points of view. In recent years VHO and network selection are even more important as satellite communications are seen as extension to terrestrial wireless communications. This paper provides survey of state-of-the-art of the currently available network selection and VHO techniques and procedures, giving deeper insight into the mathematical models and algorithms of each, and offering the analysis and comparison of their performance with their pros and cons.

In this article, an improved version of the experimental low voltage distribution network simulator, intended for the analysis of the voltage imbalances and power quality parameters in radial distribution lines is considered. The simulator was developed to perform load balancing in the three-phase power supply system, with the automated low voltage regulating and optimizing transformer, while increasing the voltage conditions stability and energy efficiency. In the paper, different load conditions are analyzed separately with measured values of voltage and current at individual points of the distribution line, without additional voltage regulation.
