: TEM-8 is an authoritative test to judge the professional level of English majors, in which reading comprehension occupies an important proportion. Based on Bachman & Palmer’s test task characteristics framework and combined with the requirements of teaching syllabus for English majors and the revised TEM-8 test syllabus in 2015, this paper, from the perspectives of language input characteristics and expected response characteristics, takes TEM-8 reading comprehension passages in the past five years as the research object to analyze the content validity of reading comprehension with the methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results reveal that TEM-8 reading comprehension test in 2016-2021 has relatively high content validity on the whole, but there is space for further improvement in the length of reading text, the selection of text materials, the balance of text difficulty and the diversity of response types.

: Physics experiment teaching plays an important role in physics teaching and is an important part of physics teaching. Implementing physics experimental education in middle schools can stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning and improve learning efficiency. By intuitively understanding physical concepts and laws, students can develop their observation and thinking abilities. Therefore, investigating the current situation of physics experimental teaching in middle schools is of great significance. Based on the partial research results of middle school physics experiments, investigate the problems that exist in middle school physics experiments. This article mainly analyzes the problems and reasons of physics experimental education.

: This paper takes the art and design major as the object of research and practice and conducts theoretical research and practical exploration of online and offline hybrid teaching. Not only does it conduct research and exploration in multiple dimensions such as teaching content, teaching mode, teaching effect, assessment topics, and evaluation system, but also through the establishment of course clusters, the independence of courses in the core course cluster of the major and the correlation between courses will be researched, and the idea of combining course modules within the core course cluster is proposed, so that the modules are in an orderly relationship with each other and can be freely combined within the scope, integrating the core courses of the major The core courses are designed to be integrated, upgraded and restructured. This study provides innovative methods and ideas for creating an online and offline hybrid "golden course" for art and design majors.

: Educational practice is an important part of teacher education, and it is also an essential content of practical teaching reform for teachers’ majors in colleges and universities. In this paper, the normal practice mode of normal students is studied to provide reference for exploring more effective practice mode. First, the centralized fixed-point model. Under the unified management and arrangement of colleges and universities, normal students go to the contacted primary and secondary schools to carry out educational practice.Second, the mixed formation mode, in which normal students from different majors are organized into a team, and one or several teachers lead them to practice in primary and secondary schools.Third, the supporting education mode. The school organizes normal students to go to rural schools or weak schools to carry out educational and teaching practice activities for one semester. Fourth, the post educational practice mode. After completing professional courses and teacher education courses, normal students go to primary and secondary schools to carry out a full semester of teacher post practice training.

: The theme of this paper is that for college teachers, micro classes will reform the traditional teaching methods, break through the traditional teaching and research models, and make teachers' lesson preparation, teaching and reflection more targeted and effective. The specific objectives of the research are the current situation of college teachers' use and cognition of micro lessons, the skills of college teachers' micro lesson design, shooting and editing, and the learning and training of college teachers' micro lesson skills. This study uses a quantitative research method, and the respondents need to answer 23 questions in the "online questionnaire". All the interviewees in this questionnaire are asked the same questions, and the interviewees are compared and analyzed under the same situation, which can investigate the different consciousness and state of micro lesson production with college teachers. Its research significance lies in rapidly enhancing teachers' classroom teaching level and promoting the growth of teachers' teaching ability. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey on college teachers' cognition of micro lesson making and their skills, it is expounded that as a new teaching form and method, the mastery of micro lesson design, shooting and editing skills should become the primary issue to be considered.

: This case study analyses the student’s investment of BICS (Basic Interpersonal Communication Skills) at a school in the Los Angeles. In terms of the investment, this case study explores the relationship between the community, motivation, and the investment. This paper includes a series of observations and interviews in the School of Abram Friedman Occupational Centre for ten weeks, focusing on the ELD beginning level student named Roberto Hernandez Perez. The data gathered includes several week’s class observation, the students’ hands out, interviews of the students, his teacher, the school administer, and his relatives. Overall, I conclude that Roberto’s learning environment and social network of community support his investment. His motivation also matches with his high investment.

: In the new era, Chinese painting has played an important role in inheriting and promoting the excellent Chinese culture. In the context of the increasing emphasis on Chinese creation courses in colleges and universities, Chinese painting creation has ushered in new opportunities. However, opportunities and challenges coexist, and the Chinese creative courses still faces problems such as insufficient integration of excellent traditional culture, imperfect theoretical system of the curriculum, insufficient attention to basic teaching, and insufficient student body. In this regard, in order to better promote the reform and development of Chinese painting creation courses in colleges and universities, it has become an inevitable choice to strengthen the influence of excellent culture, add theoretical content, pay attention to basic teaching, and strengthen the main body of students.

: The development and changes of the world have never stopped, and cultural exchanges have never stopped. Therefore, studying the compositional features and Chinese translation of English words is of great benefit to our accurate translation and to ensure the quality of translation. This article aims to analyze the characteristics of English language from the perspective of word formation. First, it explains the meaning of English word formation and its role in learning English. Guided by modern language theory, a complete English-Chinese word formation system is carried out through comparative analysis. Form systematic theoretical knowledge, adopt natural experimental methods, and study the effectiveness of English word formation in memorizing words through experimental and comparison classes. The experimental results show that after training the word-building strategy, the average score improves by 9 points. Using word formation method can split a word with regular word formation from the original longer word into a shorter memory.
