Standar proses ditujukan pada kegiatan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan serta meningkatkan keterampilan sumber daya manusia dalam paradigma pembelajaran Abad 21. Salah satu kompetensi Abad 21 adalah keterampilan dalam menguasai media informasi dan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hambatan guru biologi dalam implementasi standar proses Kurikulum 2013 terkait dengan pemanfaatan media informasi dan teknologi. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah guru biologi yang mengajar di SMA negeri dan swasta terakreditasi A, B dan C di Kecamatan Seberang Ulu II Palembang. Kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian didukung dengan dokumentasi (silabus dan RPP). Analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman (2009) dengan tahap: reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hambatan guru biologi terkait pemanfaatan media informasi dan teknologi terdapat pada aspek perencanaan maupun pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hambatan pada aspek perencanaan adalah dalam pengembangan silabus pembelajaran dan RPP, integrasi lebih dari satu macam peralatan teknologi informasi dan komputer (TIK) untuk keperluan belajar, pengembangan produk digital sebagai sumber belajar, dan perpaduan berbagai macam perangkat TIK untuk keperluan sumber belajar. Hambatan pada aspek pelaksanaan meliputi pembiasaan peserta didik dalam memanfaatkan TIK untuk mengakses materi pelajaran dan penggunaan TIK untuk komunikasi guru dan peserta didik. The study results showed that the obstacles of biology teachers related to the utilization of information and technology media were in the planning and implementation aspects of learning. The obstacles in planning aspect were the development of the learning syllabus and lesson plans, the integration of more than one type of information technology and computer (ICT) equipment for learning purposes, the development of digital products as learning resources, and the combination of various kinds of ICT tools for the learning resources. Persepsi siswa dalam menggunakan e-learning dalam kegiatan pembelajaran perlu untuk dikaji karena siswa merupakan pihak yang menggunakan e-learning dalam proses belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan e-learning dalam pembelajaran biologi pada masa pandemic Covid-19 di SMA Negeri 1 Godean, Sleman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Data penelitian didapatkan dengan cara membagikan angket dalam bentuk Google form yang terdiri dari 11 pernyataan (indikator) yang mencakup tiga aspek, yaitu aspek kemudahan akses, aspek kebermanfaatan dalam pembelajaran dan aspek kemudahan penggunaan e-learning. Angket dibagikan ke seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Godean, Sleman. Data hasil respon siswa dianalisis dengan menghitung persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Godean, Sleman memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap penggunaan e-learning dalam kegiatan pembelajaran daring biologi, dengan capaian tertinggi siswa menganggap e-learning mudah untuk digunakan. Namun untuk kegiatan diskusi sebagai salah satu indikator dari aspek kebermanfaatan, siswa merasa bahwa e-learning kurang tepat sebagai sarana diskusi sehingga e-learning masih perlu dikembangkan lagi. The results of this study indicated that students of SMA Negeri 1 Godean, Sleman had the positive perception of using e-learning in biology online learning activities, with the highest aspect was that students considered e-learning easy to use.However, for the discussion activities as one of indicators of the usefulness aspect, students felt that e-learning was not appropriate as a means of discussion so that e-learning still needs to be developed.

Penulusuran literatur atau penelitian perihal praktik pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada literasi kesehatan khususnya melalui mata pelajaran sains-biologi di Indonesia menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan dan aplikasi desain instruksional belum banyak dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan web pembelajaran biologi berbasis Socio-scientific issues (SSI) untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah research & development. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 2 ahli materi, 2 ahli media, 2 guru biologi, dan 20 siswa SMA. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen penilaian dan angket. Data kualitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif sebagai bahan revisi media dan data kuatitatif menggunakan persentase untuk penilaian kelayakan. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah web pembelajaran biologi berbasis SSI topik sistem pernapasan untuk mengembangkan literasi kesehatan siswa SMA kelas XI. Web pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan berdasarkan aspek konsep esensial materi biologi, informasi kajian biologi, bahasa kajian biologi, organisasi pembelajaran, dan operasional sajian web berdasarkan hasil penilaian dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru biologi. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut dapat disimpulkan web pembelajaran yang dkembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi. Searching the literature or research on learning practices oriented towards health literacy, especially through science-biology subjects in Indonesia, showed that the development and application of instructional design has not been widely produced. This study aimed to determine the feasibility of a biology learning web based on Socio-scientific issues (SSI) to be implemented in biology learning in high school.The method used was research & development. The study subjects consisted of 2 material experts, 2 media experts, 2 biology teachers, and 20 high school students. Data collection was carried out using assessment instruments and questionnaires. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively as media revision material and quantitative data using percentages for feasibility assessment.The result of this development research is a biology learning web based on SSI on the topic of the respiratory system to develop health literacy for high school students. The developed learning web has the feasibility criteria based on aspects of the essential concepts of biological material, information and language of biological studies, learning organization, and web presentation operation. It was Based on the results of assessments from material experts, media experts, biology teachers and limited trial test. Based on the results of the assessment, it can be concluded that the learning web developed is suitable for use in biology learning.

Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam semua kemajuan dunia pendidikan pada abad ke-21, yang termasuk didalamnya adalah berpikir kreatif. Hasil studi awal diperoleh informasi keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kurang berkembang melalui pembelajaran daring karena adanya pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) secara daring terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas XI MIPA.3 UPT SMA Negeri 1 Parepare. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-experiment dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan semester ganjil tahun akademik 2021/2022. Subjek penelitian kelas XI MIPA.3yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas XI MIPA.3 UPT SMA Negeri 1 Parepare sebelum diterapkan model pembelajaran PjBL secara daring rata-rata berada pada kategori kurang kreatif dengan persentase 40,42% dan sesudah pembelajaran rata-rata berada pada kategori sangat kreatif dengan persentase 90,28%. Penerapan model pembelajaran PjBL secara daring berpengaruh signifikan (sig. 0,000 < ? 0,05) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas XI MIPA.3 UPT SMAN 1 Parepare. Higher-order thinking skills are needed in all advancements in the world of education in the 21st century, which includes creative thinking. The results of the initial study obtained information that students' creative thinking skills were less developed through online learning due to the covid-19 pandemic. This study aimed to determine the application of the online Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on students’ creative thinking skills in class XI MIPA.3 UPT SMA Negeri 1 Parepare. The type of research used was pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research subjects were class XI MIPA.3 which consisted of 36 students. The research instrument used was a creative thinking skill test sheet. Analysis of the data used was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. From the results of the study, it was found that students’ creative thinking skills in class XI MIPA.3 UPT SMA Negeri 1 Parepare before the applied online PjBL model was less creative category with a percentage of 40.42% and after learning it was very creative category with a percentage of 90.28%. The application of the online PjBL model has a significant effect (sig. 0.000 < ? 0.05) on students’ creative thinking skills in class XI MIPA.3 UPT SMAN 1 Parepare.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-experiment dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan semester ganjil tahun akademik 2021/2022. Subjek penelitian kelas XI MIPA.3yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas XI MIPA.3 UPT SMA Negeri 1 Parepare sebelum diterapkan model pembelajaran PjBL secara daring rata-rata berada pada kategori kurang kreatif dengan persentase 40,42% dan sesudah pembelajaran rata-rata berada pada kategori sangat kreatif dengan persentase 90,28%. Penerapan model pembelajaran PjBL secara daring berpengaruh signifikan (sig. 0,000 < ? 0,05) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas XI MIPA.3 UPT SMAN 1 Parepare. Higher-order thinking skills are needed in all advancements in the world of education in the 21st century, which includes creative thinking. The results of the initial study obtained information that students' creative thinking skills were less developed through online learning due to the covid-19 pandemic. This study aimed to determine the application of the online Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on students’ creative thinking skills in class XI MIPA.3 UPT SMA Negeri 1 Parepare. The type of research used was pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research subjects were class XI MIPA.3 which consisted of 36 students. The research instrument used was a creative thinking skill test sheet. Analysis of the data used was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. From the results of the study, it was found that students’ creative thinking skills in class XI MIPA.3 UPT SMA Negeri 1 Parepare before the applied online PjBL model was less creative category with a percentage of 40.42% and after learning it was very creative category with a percentage of 90.28%. Penelitian dilaksanakan untuk pengembangan buku saku materi jamur untuk kelas X yang layak dan praktis yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Materi buku saku merupakan hasil identifikasi jamur patogen pada cabai merah berpenyakit di dataran rendah Kelurahan Padang Serai Kota Bengkulu dan Desa Pekik Nyaring Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Borg & Gall (1989), namun hanya sampai tahap keempat, yaitu 1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, dilakukan dengan identifikasi jamur patogen dan wawancara guru terkait penggunaan dan kebutuhan bahan ajar materi jamur, 2) perencanaan dan 3) pengembangan buku saku yang dilakukan dengan penyusunan berdasarkan hasil identifikasi jamur patogen pada cabai merah, serta 4) pengujian lapangan awal, dilakukan melalui uji validasi untuk melihat kelayakan dan uji respon siswa untuk mengetahui kepraktisan buku saku. Hasil uji validasi dan uji respon siswa dianalisis dengan persentase. Berdasarkan identifikasi jamur patogen pada cabai merah diperoleh 4 jenis, yaitu Fusarium sp., Curvularia sp., Colletotrichum sp., dan Cercospora sp. Hasil identifikasi dimuat sebagai materi buku saku dengan penilaian layak berdasarkan validasi ahli media sebesar 92,8%, ahli materi 98,9% dan guru biologi 92,5%. Selain layak, buku saku juga praktis melalui penilaian respon siswa terhadap keterbacaan buku saku dengan persentase sebesar 85,13%. The research was carried out for the development of a feasible and practical fungi material pocket book for class X that can be used in learning. The pocket book material was the result of identification of pathogenic fungi on diseased red chilies in the lowlands of Padang Serai Village, Bengkulu City and Pekik Nyaring Village, Central Bengkulu Regency. This research was carried out using the Borg & Gall (1989) development model, but only reached the fourth stage, namely 1) research and information collection, carried out by identification of pathogenic fungi and teacher interviews related to the use and need for fungi teaching material, 2) planning and 3 ) development, carried out by compiling based on the results of identification of pathogenic fungi on red chilies, and 4) initial field test, carried out through validation test to see the feasibility and student response test to determine the practicality of pocket book. The results of the validation test and student response test were analyzed by percentage. Based on the identification of pathogenic fungi in red chilies, 4 types were obtained, namely Fusarium sp., Curvularia sp., Colletotrichum sp., and Cercospora sp. The identification results were published as pocket book material with feasible results based on the validation of media experts by 92.8%, material experts 98.9% and biology teachers 92.5%. Besides being feasible, pocket book was also practical through the assessment of students response to the readability of pocket book with a percentage of 85.13%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kecerdasan naturalis dengan perspektif taksonomi Bloom revisi pada pelajaran biologi di MAN 2 Kabupaten Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi metode, sedangkan untuk analisis data dengan teknik Miles, Huberman, & Saldana (2014) yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X dan XI MIA di MAN 2 Kabupaten Tangerang. Teknik pengumpulan data memakai angket, studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa kecerdasan naturalis siswa kelas X MIA pada kategori sangat tinggi sebanyak 80 siswa, kategori tinggi 32 siswa. Sedangkan kecerdasan naturalis siswa kelas XI MIA pada kategori sangat tinggi sebanyak 70 siswa, kategori tinggi 40 siswa, dan kategori cukup 1 siswa. Hasil dari kecerdasan naturalis dan kemampuan kognitif yang didapat menunjukkan perbedaan antara siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan naturalis dengan kemampuan kognitif C1, C2, C3, dan C4. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study research design, with data validity techniques using the triangulation method, while for data analysis using the Miles, Huberman, & Saldana (2014) technique, which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The sample in this study were all class X and XI MIA at MAN 2 Tangerang Regency. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, documentation studies, and interviews. The results of the study can be seen that the naturalist intelligence of class X MIA students in the very high category is 80 students, the high category is 32 students. Meanwhile, the naturalist intelligence of class XI MIA students in the very high category is 70 students, the high category is 40 students, and the category is quite 1 student. The results of naturalist intelligence and cognitive abilities obtained show differences between students who have naturalist intelligence with cognitive abilities of C1, C2, C3, and C4. These differences can be seen from each component of the naturalist intelligence of students with cognitive abilities C1, C2, C3, and C4 which have different values in each component.

Salah satu pemanfaatan keanekaragaman hayati adalah tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat oleh masyarakat di Desa Sabung Kabupaten Sambas yang dimuat di dalam media ensiklopedia mencakup uraian ringkas yang tersusun berdasarkan alfabet dari A-Z, sehingga mudah untuk dipahami dan bisa digunakan di sekolah yang terkendala dengan infocus dan listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kelayakan media ensiklopedia pemanfaatan keanekaragamanan hayati sebagai obat di Desa Sabung Kabupaten Sambas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua tahap, yaitu tahap pertama adalah kajian etnobotani tumbuhan obat di Desa Sabung Kabupaten Sambas menggunakan penelitian metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik triangulasi dan tahap kedua adalah pembuatan media pembelajaran ensiklopedia dengan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) mengikuti model yang dikembangkan Borg and Gall (hanya sampai tahap ke empat, yaitu tahap validasi produk). Media ensiklopedia divalidasi oleh lima validator yang terdiri dari dua orang dosen dan tiga orang guru Biologi. Hasil validasi dianalisis menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V diperoleh nilai rata-rata 0,91 yang tergolong valid dengan menggunakan 4 aspek dan 13 kriteria penilaian. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa media ensiklopedia yang dibuat sebagai implementasi dari hasil etnobotani tumbuhan obat di Desa Sabung layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada submateri pemanfaatan keanekaragaman hayati. One of the uses of biodiversity is plants that are used as medicine by the community in Sabung Village, Sambas Regency which is published in the encyclopedia including a brief description arranged according to the alphabet from A-Z, making it easy to understand and can be used in schools that are constrained by infocus and electricity. This study aimed to determine the feasibility of encyclopedia for the use of biodiversity as medicine in Sabung Village, Sambas Regency. This research was carried out in two stages, the first stage was an ethnobotanical study of medicinal plants in Sabung Village, Sambas Regency using the descriptive qualitative research methods with triangulation techniques and the second stage was the creation of an encyclopedia learning media using the Research and Development (R&D) method following the model developed by Borg and Gall (only up to the fourth stage, namely the product validation stage). The encyclopedia was validated by five validators consisting of two lecturers and three Biology teachers. The validation results were analyzed using the Aiken's V formula, an average value of 0.91 was obtained which was classified as valid using 4 aspects and 13 assessment criteria. Thus, it was concluded that the encyclopedia created as an implementation of the results of the ethnobotany of medicinal plants in Sabung Village was feasible to be used as a learning medium in the sub-material of the use of biodiversity.

Tenriawaru","doi":"10.32502/dikbio.v5i2.4438","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32502/dikbio.v5i2.4438","url":null,"abstract":"Salah satu pemanfaatan keanekaragaman hayati adalah tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat oleh masyarakat di Desa Sabung Kabupaten Sambas yang dimuat di dalam media ensiklopedia mencakup uraian ringkas yang tersusun berdasarkan alfabet dari A-Z, sehingga mudah untuk dipahami dan bisa digunakan di sekolah yang terkendala dengan infocus dan listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kelayakan media ensiklopedia pemanfaatan keanekaragamanan hayati sebagai obat di Desa Sabung Kabupaten Sambas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua tahap, yaitu tahap pertama adalah kajian etnobotani tumbuhan obat di Desa Sabung Kabupaten Sambas menggunakan penelitian metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik triangulasi dan tahap kedua adalah pembuatan media pembelajaran ensiklopedia dengan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) mengikuti model yang dikembangkan Borg and Gall (hanya sampai tahap ke empat, yaitu tahap validasi produk). Media ensiklopedia divalidasi oleh lima validator yang terdiri dari dua orang dosen dan tiga orang guru Biologi. Hasil validasi dianalisis menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V diperoleh nilai rata-rata 0,91 yang tergolong valid dengan menggunakan 4 aspek dan 13 kriteria penilaian. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa media ensiklopedia yang dibuat sebagai implementasi dari hasil etnobotani tumbuhan obat di Desa Sabung layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada submateri pemanfaatan keanekaragaman hayati. One of the uses of biodiversity is plants that are used as medicine by the community in Sabung Village, Sambas Regency which is published in the encyclopedia including a brief description arranged according to the alphabet from A-Z, making it easy to understand and can be used in schools that are constrained by infocus and electricity. This study aimed to determine the feasibility of encyclopedia for the use of biodiversity as medicine in Sabung Village, Sambas Regency. This research was carried out in two stages, the first stage was an ethnobotanical study of medicinal plants in Sabung Village, Sambas Regency using the descriptive qualitative research methods with triangulation techniques and the second stage was the creation of an encyclopedia learning media using the Research and Development (R&D) method following the model developed by Borg and Gall (only up to the fourth stage, namely the product validation stage). The encyclopedia was validated by five validators consisting of two lecturers and three Biology teachers. The validation results were analyzed using the Aiken's V formula, an average value of 0.91 was obtained which was classified as valid using 4 aspects and 13 assessment criteria. Majalah dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran karena memiliki kesan santai, karakteristik bahasa lebih ringan, informatif, dikemas dengan sederhana yang berisi berita terkini. Oleh karena itu, majalah cocok digunakan untuk memberikan informasi yang isinya bersifat ilmiah seperti hasil penelitian inventarisasi tumbuhan kosmetik yang berasal dari potensi lokal tumbuhan Indonesia yang beraneka ragam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan majalah pada submateri pemanfaatan keanekaragaman hayati berbasis tumbuhan kosmetik. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang dilakukan melalui tahapan: pembuatan media, validasi media, dan analisis data validasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi media yang berisi aspek bahasa, isi, dan kegrafikan dengan jumlah 10 item penilaian. Validator majalah adalah 2 orang dosen Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Tanjungpura dan 3 orang guru biologi SMA. Hasil validasi dianalisis menggunakan rumus Lawshe (1975), yaitu analisis CVR dan CVI. Majalah dapat dikatakan layak jika pada perhitungan akhir skor CVR dan CVI memenuhi nilai batas minimum yang disesuaikan dengan jumlah validator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perolehan hasil analisis validasi majalah sebesar 1,00 dikategorikan valid, maka majalah dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada submateri pemanfaatan keanekaragaman hayati kelas X SMA. Namun, media ini perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut, yaitu uji coba dalam proses pembelajaran biologi. Magazine can be used as learning media because it has the relaxed impression, lighter language characteristics, informative, and being packaged simply containing the latest news. Therefore, the magazine is suitable to be used to provide scientific information, such as the results of research on the inventory of cosmetic plants derived from the diverse local potential of Indonesian plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the magazine on the sub-material of the use of biodiversity based on cosmetic plants. The method in this study was a quantitative descriptive method which was carried out through the following stages: media creation, media validation, and validation data analysis. The instrument used was a media validation sheet that contained aspects of language, content, and graphics with a total of 10 assessment items. The validators of the magazine were 2 lecturers of Biology Education at Tanjungpura University and 3 high school biology teachers. The validation results were analyzed using Lawshe's (1975) formula, namely the analysis of CVR and CVI. Magazine can be said to be feasible if in the final calculation the CVR and CVI scores met the minimum threshold value adjusted for the number of validators. Perkembangan kurikulum di Indonesia menuntut adanya pengembangan potensi siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan ilmiah. Salah satu alternatif penerapan pendekatan ilmiah dalam pembelajaran biologi adalah melalui kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam laboratorium. Kegiatan laboratorium melibatkan penggunaan keterampilan laboratorium dan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keterampilan laboratorium dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI SMA pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu SMA swasta Kota Salatiga dengan subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA sejumlah 47 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan tes. Wawancara untuk analisis pendahuluan proses pembelajaran biologi di sekolah. Observasi untuk keterampilan laboratorium siswa saat pelaksanaan praktikum. Tes evaluasi dalam bentuk esai untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah pembelajaran dilakukan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan diuji melalui uji korelasi Spearman rho. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara keterampilan laboratorium dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa (nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05) dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,745 menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat dan arah hubungan yang positif. Hal ini berarti dengan keterampilan laboratorium siswa yang baik, maka baik pula kemampuan berpikir kritisnya atau sebaliknya dengan besaran hubungan yang dalam kategori kuat. The curriculum in Indonesia demands the whole students’ development through applying the scientific approach in the learning process. The scientific approach can be implemented by doing learning activities in the laboratory. Laboratory activities can enhance laboratory skills and critical thinking ability. This study aimed to determine the correlation of skills and the critical thinking ability of 11th-grade students in plants tissue learning processes. This study was conducted at a private high school in Salatiga City, with the research subjects were 47 students.Data collection techniques were interview, observation, and test techniques. Interview were used for preliminary analysis of the biology learning process in schools, observation for students' laboratory skills during practicum implementation and evaluation test in the form of an essay for students' critical thinking skills after learning was done.Data were analyzed descriptively and tested by the Spearman rho correlation test. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there was a significant relationship between students' laboratory skills and critical thinking skills (significance value 0.00 <0.05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.745 indicating a strong relationship with a positive direction.
