Outstanding engineer training plan aims at producing huge reserve talents to meet the requirements of the quantity and quality of engineers for China's economical and social development. Academic competition is an effective means to enhance overall quality of college students. Regarding academic competition as the carrier and the purpose is to improve innovation ability of students, it strengthen the learning ability, innovation ability, practice ability and cooperation ability. These abilities lay a solid foundation for better implementation of outstanding engineer plan.

One challenge to the cloud computing paradigm is the task complexity associated with designing and managing multi-cloud solutions based on operational objectives. Heterogeneous vendor interfaces and a lack of standardization compounds this complexity and may eventually lead to vendor lock-in. In this article we present a model driven approach to allowing network administrators to intuitively describe and rapidly realize non-trivial IaaS behavior in realtime. We have developed iCloudML, an interpreted domain-specific modeling language and its interpreter as tooling support for the domain.

This paper reports the teaching practice of a new undergraduate curriculum design and assessment of English majors at Henan University of Economics and Law in 2013-2014 academic year. Underpinned by social constructivism, this new curriculum design highly evaluates students' participation through additional activities, and considers it as a valuable experience for students to practice their learning skills, to work with peers and to solve practical problems. It also presents results of a questionnaire survey as well as interviews for both teachers and students, discusses some key considerations of additional activities in English teaching, and finally draws a conclusion that although the new curriculum design and assessment have a high recognition, they still need improvement as well.

Arithmetic unit design has been one of the important and difficult parts in teaching of principles of computer organization course and is hard for students to understand and master. Because teaching of arithmetic unit design is usually began with examining the process of computer arithmetic, many students are apt to think it as numerical calculation and don't really understand the main idea in computer design of simplification, normalization and rapid processing. In this paper, we reveal the basic idea of computer arithmetic unit design by the analysis of data representation and the process of calculation, taking addition, subtraction and multiplication as example. Based on the background of our many years' teaching and research, we discuss some effective heuristic methods in teaching of arithmetic unit design.

We explored the methods of computer technology in the application of mental health services about the community residents. This paper used statistical analysis carried out by statistical software SPSS19.0, aimed to study the mental health status about 384 community residents, to investigate the willingness of psychological seeking help and to explore the relationship between them. This study shows that the psychological health status of 40~49 years old population is best, and their willingness of psychological seeking help is also significantly higher than that of other age people. Whereas the psychological health status of 50~59 years old population is the worst, and they are also the most reluctant to seek the professional psychological assistance. Moreover the mental health status and the willingness of psychological seeking help of residents have a high negative correlation. Furthermore, psychological health status are the significant predictors to the willingness of seeking help.

In long term evolution (LTE) network, the inhomogeneity of traffic distribution results in local network congestion and waste of resource. Mobility load balancing (MLB) is introduced to solve the problem and improve the efficiency of resource utilization. But application of MLB and the mobility robustness optimization (MRO) of systems are bound to influence each other. A MLB algorithm based on handover optimization (HO) has been proposed in the paper to prevent ping-pong effect. The selection of cell-edge users for handover is been taken into the consideration in the algorithm and average throughput has an almost 20% improvement. A simulation has been executed in the last of the paper and the algorithm is proved feasible.

Vehicular ad hoc networks technology is an important part of intelligent transportation system which has wide developmental and applied prospect. The routing protocol is a key technology of vehicular ad hoc networks and largely determines the performance of the vehicle network communication system. Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) makes great requests to routing protocol due to several reasons: firstly, vehicle nodes moving into tubular mobile states which are limited in road. Then, nodes moves fast, network topology changes frequently, the relationship among nodes becomes unstable. Aiming at the network congestion problem exists in commonly used GPSR routing protocols of current vehicular ad hoc networks, this paper proposed an improved project of GPSR routing protocol which controls network congestion based on the buffer of nodes. Performance simulation for relevant parameters is tested on platform NS2. From the results of the analysis, the enhanced GPSR protocol in vehicle's environment has lower packet loss rate and less time delay than the traditional GPSR protocol.

Data Mining refers to extracting or “mining” knowledge from large amounts of data. Data Mining concepts and techniques have been applied in many fields such as Financial Data Analysis, Retail Industry, Telecommunication Industry, Biological Data Analysis and other Scientific Applications, in medicine but a little in radiology and imagery. We propose in this paper the application of Data Mining techniques in breast imaging for breast cancer screening.

The notion of software ageing was introduced about twenty years ago. Since then the knowledge and idea of it were increasingly accepted by the academia and researchers. Software ageing is a phenomenon when the software is degraded in its quality, user's satisfaction and dynamic environment adaptation. In human being, ageing is inevitable process, but with an understanding of the causes, it way helps to delay the ageing process. But unlike human ageing, software ageing can be delayed by identifying factors that influence and accelerate the ageing process. In this study software ageing is defined as the phenomenon when the software drops its quality values accepted by the users and environment. This paper presents the empirical study done to investigate the issues of software ageing among software practitioners in Malaysia. The findings show that software ageing factors can be classified into four main classifications: functional, human, environment and product profile.
