RESUMO Theodor Heuberger foi Kunsthandler atuante no Rio de Janeiro e em Sao Paulo. Com formacao em Munique, realizou exposicoes no Brasil com obras importantes do expressionismo alemao; foi, tambem, o primeiro a expor no pais a artista Kathe Kollwitz. Alem disso, difundiu, no ambiente cultural brasileiro, padroes renovados de desenho de lojas e de expografia ligados ao gosto estetico do Deutscher Werkbund. Em que pese sua atuacao em prol do expressionismo, Heuberger fundou uma revista de trocas culturais entre Alemanha e Brasil na qual a arte moderna dividiria espaco, progressivamente durante as decadas de 1930 e 1940, com noticias oficiais da Alemanha. De incentivadora da arte moderna alema, a revista Intercâmbio terminaria seus dias como veiculo de propaganda nazista.

This article seeks to reflect upon the double paradigm of transparency and opacity with the photographic series Hoppe, by Mariano Klautau Filho. It presents some of the broad meanings of these concepts as a basis to analyzing the reflexive quality the photographs’ framing (their apparent refusal to transparency, the implication of the gaze in their materiality) and the texture of time inherent to its images – for this purpose, we mobilize the concepts of between-the-images and time montage.

Objectives. This literature review aimed to reveal the relationship between psychological factors such as anxiety, depression, stress, emotionality and aggression on the one hand, and irrational alcohol consumption and risky sexual activity on the other hand, in students (19-25 years) and adjacent age groups. Material and methods. The study was conducted by analyzing the literature published between 2010 and 2020. The search was conducted in Romanian and English, in 9 international publications, by the following key phrases and terms, separately or in combination: anxiety, depression, stress, emotionality, aggressiveness, alcohol consumption, drinking motives, binge drinking, sexual behavior, risky sex. Results. Applying repeated exclusion criteria, 31 articles remained in the analysis. Among these, risk behaviors were rarely analyzed in connection with psychological factors. Most studies that investigate risky behaviors regarding alcohol consumption and sexual activity, address them according to gender, educational level, age groups. Women were more prone to anxiety and depression, but also to show more psychological aggression compared to men who showed more physical aggression, even in sexual activity. Researches included aggression as a behavioral trait, and emotionality has been used as a variable in studies to validate standardized tools. Irrational alcohol consumption has been significantly associated with risky sexual activity and various forms of aggression. Conclusions. The risk of manifesting and developing depressive and anxiety symptoms is higher in victims of aggression, in people with risky sexual activity, and in consumers of irrational alcohol. In students and young people, stress has high values, contributing to the tendency towards risky behaviors. It is necessary to promote successful coping strategies and mechanisms, both in individual and group level, as well as the development of prevention strategies and therapeutic procedures to improve the listed risk behaviors. Geophysical surveying is crucial in the investigation of mineral resources in poorly exposed areas such as SE-Cameroon, a region known for its gold mineral potential. In this paper, gravity survey is carried out in the Batouri area, SE-Cameroon based on land gravity data from the Centre-south Cameroon. Therefore, an analytical polynomial separation program, based on least-square fitting of a third-degree polynomial surface to the Bouguer anomaly map, was used to separate the regional/residual components in gravity data. This technique permitted to better understand the disposition of the deep and near surface structures responsible of the observed anomalies in the Batouri area. Spectral analysis and 2.5D modelling of two profiles P1 (SW-NE) and P2 (N-S) selected from the residual anomaly map provided depths to basement. These depths constrain the gravity models along the profiles, indicating a variable thickness of the sedimentary infill with an approximate anomaly of -33 mGal. The 2.5D model of the basement shows a gravity body, with a signature suggesting two close and similar masses, which characterize the quartz-bearing formations associated here to granite and gneiss. Our work highlights a main heavy gravity: Gwe-Batouri anomaly, containing the major part of auriferous deposits located along the NE-SW direction. Further, three tectonic sub-basins bounded by normal faults have been highlighted at Guedal, Gwe, and Belimban, in the south of Guedal-Belimban depression. They are associated with the extension tectonics, more or less vertical tangential cuts and accidents that have affected the region. A correlation with previous results from tectonic, lithological and gold mineralization activities proves the relevance of the study and the need to intensify geophysical surveying in the area.

This article analyzes the contribution of Mario Pedrosa in the conception of the Museum of Solidarity during the government of Salvador Allende (1970-1973). At the invitation of the president, the critic founded the International Committee for Artistic Solidarity with Chile to centralize the organization of the institution, expand contacts with artists of different nationalities and guarantee donations. The Museum symbolized the fraternal vocation of the socialist experiment, collecting works by artists moved by the feeling of affection, empathy and unity in favor of the opposition against imperialism and cultural dependence.

The poetry of Augusto de Campos affirmed itself as concrete when it abandoned the conventions accepted by immediately previous modernist generations. It advanced in benefit of a new plurality of meanings through intensively exploring the word’s expressive potential and materiality. Campos is a poet of innovation who recovered the functionality of the page by controlling time and silence, which mobilize the senses through blank space, and who dislocated its work to exhibition spaces and to the streets. In this article we analyze his poetry considering the ways in which the text, in its visual and typographical form, activates the layers of the verbivocovisual meaning and, consequentely, the cultural and symbolical references linked to the shape of letters and the media.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan perhiasan dan mendeskripsikan kuwalitas pengembangan perhiasan motif Majapahit untuk pengrajin di Desa Batan Krajan Kab. Mojokerto Jawa Timur. Penelitian yang berpendekatan pengembangan seni kriya, ditinjau dari sudut proses dan kualitas produk perhiasan bermotif Surya Majapahit. Menggunakan metode eksperimen untuk menghasilkan produk perhiasan dengan gaya klasik dan postmodern. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data ialah menggunakan metode observasi untuk memperoleh data utama, serta metode wawancara dan metode analisa dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data penunjang. Hasil dari penelitian dilapangan bahwa perhiasan motif Surya Majapahit dengan kolaborasi teori ikonografi, teori ergonomi, teori design thingking dan PPE, sangat membantu pengrajin untuk dapat mengembangkan perhiasan. Mulai dari segi proses sampai kwalitas produk perhiasan yang berbahan perak. Saran yang bisa diajukan dalam penilitian ini agar bisa dimanfaatkan oleh pengrajin dalam memproses perhiasan yang berkwalitas. Sehingga untuk pengrajin lebih meningkatkan kwalitas perhiasan dalam segi desain maupun perhiasan yang bercirikan atau bermotif Majapahit. Dan bagi peneliti dapat mengkaji dan menganalisa lebih mendalam tentang perhiasan klasik maupupun postmodern bermotif Surya Majapahit lebih mendalam.

Ampliada pelo desenvolvimento tecnológico, a movimentação humana na contemporaneidade tem se configurado como diversas formas de dispersão (tanto físicas quanto ideológicas). Em sua expansão centrífuga, a dispersão desconsidera aspectos coletivos da rede inter-relacional em que existimos em prol de atitudes autorreferentes, tais como o crescimento econômico ou o utilitarismo. No entanto, a dispersão ganha um sentido distinto se refletida no campo da arte. Como mecanismo de coletividade, ela possibilita a reflexão sobre o altruísmo e a convivialidade, que elucidam laços sociais distintos à dispersão. Utilizam-se aqui métodos de investigação próprios às ciências humanas e às artes, com a intenção de propor a combinação entre imagens, símbolos e conceitos como metodologia condizente à pesquisa em antropologia e sociologia da arte.

This article discusses the intimate writing of the Catalan painter Joan Ponc (1927-1984) to delineate part of his history in Brazil, whose transit through the Brazilian cultural-artistic environment was set in a narrative crystallized in two ways: in his pictorial production, in his diary and correspondence, cultivated during his stay in Sao Paulo and on his return to Catalonia. To scrutinize its hybrid nature, configured between the world of “I” and that of others, the analysis will explore personal archives of the painter and his Brazilian former students through an essay type of writing, with the aim of delving into the possibilities of approaching the recovery of a rearranged and recreated past by a hand that paints and writes.
