This article examines the genetics of Islam in Indonesia, namely Javanese Islam. Through the lens of cross-cultural theology, this research aims to observe the dialogue and interaction between Hindu tradition and culture and Islamic religious practices and behaviors. Employing anthropological and sociological approach with an intensive library research method, this research found out that the style and behavior of Javanese Islam have resulted from the dialogue, interaction, negotiation, and synergy with Hindu (local) culture and traditions. The result also shows that Islam can harmonize and synergize its teachings with the local culture while maintaining its values or doctrines. Hence, Javanese Islam is better called Local Islam or Islam Nusantara rather than Syncretic Islam.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi eksistensi perempuan dalam epos Lutung Kasarung dalam perspektif perkembangan kebudayaan Van Peursen. Studi ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka kualitatif dan mengkaji teks-teks yang terkait dengan topik tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eksistensi perempuan dalam epos Lutung Kasarung memainkan peran yang penting dalam membentuk perkembangan kebudayaan (mitis, ontologis dan fungsional). Perempuan dianggap sebagai simbol kekuatan dan martabat, dan memiliki peran yang sama dengan laki-laki dalam membentuk masyarakat yang adil dan sejahtera. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi baru bagi pemahaman tentang peran perempuan dalam masyarakat dalam perspektif perkembangan kebudayaan Van Peursen.

Character education is essential, especially for the younger generation. Successful character education can be seen in students’ daily behavior, in how they apply vertical relation to God and horizontal regard to His creatures. To perform an effective character education, various methods and learning media can make students more excited at character values in the learning materials. The story method, mutalaah within the al-Qira’ah al-Rashidah Book 1 by Abdul Fatah Shabri Bik and Ali Amir Bik, includes some stories that contain noble morality. This study showed that character education through the story method has several stages, (1) the preparation of the syllabus and lesson plan, (2) the learning activity that covers opening, teaching-learning process, and closing. The process of planting moral values is carried out when a teacher explains the content and text of the lesson. Meanwhile, a formal evaluation is done in the semester test, besides daily assessment of student’s behavior in pesantren; (3) the story method through the learning mutalaah is considered effective in the development of morals because instinctively students like stories and are encouraged and motivated to practice the moral values in the mutalaah stories; (4) some factors supporting character education through the story method include the support of pesantren and principal, teacher’s linear educational background, and availability of decent infrastructure. On the contrary, the inhibiting factors include students’ diverse educational backgrounds, less motivation to study Arabic vocabulary, and lack of learning media that supports the delivery of learning materials.

Pengabdian yang ditujukan kepada Tuhan beraneka ragam macamnya seperti, membantu diantara sesama, saling bahu membahu diantara satu dengan yang lainnya, aktif dalam kegiatan di masyarakat dengan dasar ilmu pengetahuan yang ia miliki dan taraf religiusnya. Sebelum mengabdikan dirinya kepada masyarakat seorang biarawati membutuhkan pembinaan guna memperoleh bekal yang akan dibanya selama masa pengabdian. Di RSCJ Bandung para calon biarawati mendapat banyak sekali pembinaan sesuai dengan bidang masing masing yang dikuasi dengan penekanan kepada kaul Pendidikan, karena diharapkan kepada biarawati untuk bisa mengajarkan segala apa yang telah ia dapatkan selama di RSCJ kepada orang lain . Building a culture of tolerance and interreligious dialogue is one of the important agendas for creating religious harmony in various contexts. This study analyzes the concept of religious education and conflict resolution initiated by Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Lab School in building a culture of tolerance and interfaith dialogue among Muslim and non-Muslim students. UPI Lab School is an educational institution with diverse students from different religious backgrounds. This research used a qualitative approach and descriptive case study method by collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman procedure framework through three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result showed several findings: 1) the internalization of religious moderation is manifested in the school’s curriculum and learning process, 2) the learning model is based on freedom and non-coercion and builds a moderate and dynamic discussion space, 3) the school carries out conflict resolution and inter-religious dialogue by communicating with non-Muslim parents and external parties to avoid misunderstanding, and 4) the strengthening of religious identity is built through open discussion based on freedom of opinion for every student, without any form of coercion and discrimination.

Pendampingan pastoral merupakan tugas penting dari gereja untuk menjaga kehidupan jemaat, karena itu pendampingan pastoral senantiasa ditujukan pada kehidupan. Salah satu bentuk pendampingan pastoral gereja yang kurang mendapat perhatian adalah pendampingan terhadap orang yang sedang menghadapi kematian, padahal pendampingan seperti ini sangat diharapkan karena ketika menghadapi kematian seseorang akan diperhadapkan pada rasa cemas dan takut. Narasi Kejadian 27:1-19 menyoroti tentang pentingnya pemberian makan kepada orang yang sedang menghadapi kematian sebagai bentuk kesanggupan anak/keluarga untuk terus menjadi pendamping. Kisah ini memiliki kesejajaran dengan budaya Manulangi Natua-tua dalam suku Batak, di mana melalui budaya ini setiap anggota keluarga akan memberikan kepastian kepada orang tua yang sedang menghadapi kematian bahwa mereka akan tetap ada mendampingi, sehingga orang tua tidak perlu takut dan cemas menghadapi kematian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan tafsir narasi terhadap Kejadian 27:1-19 dan penelitian pustaka terhadap budaya Batak. Mamasa merupakan daerah yang berada dalam lingkup Komunitas Kondosapata Uaisapalean yang merupakan gabungan dari keberadaan awal Pitu Ulunna Salu (PUS) ditambah komunitas lain yang terbentuk di sekitar PUS. Penduduk di Kabupaten Mamasa adalah 83% Kristen dari berbagai denominasi gereja termasuk Kristen Katolik. Uaisapalean Kondosapata menganut Ada 'Tuo. Kajian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh adat dan budaya Mamasa terhadap pilihan politik masyarakat Mamasa di tingkat kabupaten, provinsi dan nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mewawancarai sumber yang kompeten dan memahami esensi penelitian dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada korelasi yang cukup kuat antara Bea Cukai dan Budaya Mamasa terhadap pilihan politik masyarakat Mamasa. Adat dan Budaya di Kabupaten Mamasa berbeda dari satu daerah ke daerah lain, mempengaruhi dan membentuk masyarakat dengan karakter yang berbeda.

Kajian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh adat dan budaya Mamasa terhadap pilihan politik masyarakat Mamasa di tingkat kabupaten, provinsi dan nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mewawancarai sumber yang kompeten dan memahami esensi penelitian dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada korelasi yang cukup kuat antara Bea Cukai dan Budaya Mamasa terhadap pilihan politik masyarakat Mamasa. This article attempts to look at great potential of pesantren as the oldest Islamic religious institution in Indonesia. This research analyzes the three primary assets owned by pesantren (human capital, social capital, and intellectual capital) to become agents of inter-religious harmony. It is based on field research conducted in two Islamic boarding schools with great attention to issues of inter-religious harmony, namely the Aswaja Nusantara Islamic Boarding School, Mlangi, Yogyakarta, managed by Kiai Muhammad Mustafid and the Roudhatus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School, Demak, managed by KH. Abdul Qodir, Lc. The primary data sources of this study were taken from interviews with the leaders and notes from Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with representatives of students. Based on the SWOT analysis of the collected data, this study concludes that Pesantren has excellent potential to become an agent of inter-religious harmony because of its social and intellectual capital and the diverse backgrounds of its students. However, this still requires pesantrens to conduct collaborative-comprehensive efforts to maximize their potential.

This study aims to determine the role of microfinance on the business of MSME customers at Bank Syariah Indonesia at the Sarolangun Branch Office. This is field research with descriptive qualitative in nature. Sources of data used are primary and secondary data sources. Data was collected using interview and documentation techniques. The data from the findings are described descriptively and analyzed using inductive thinking. The results of this study also concluded that the role of micro-financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia Sarolangun Branch Office in MSME business has less effect on increasing customer business income, this can be proven by the absence of an increase in revenue for several customer businesses that have done micro-financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Sarolangun. Due to the lack of adequate and equitable direction to the customer's business, other factors cause the customer's income not to increase, namely the lack of human resources in financial reporting and lack of marketing knowledge.

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemunculan tafsir ijmali, dasar dan urgensi, langkah-langkah, kelebihan dan kekurangannya, serta metode penerapannya pada surat al-fatihah dalam tafsir al-Jalalain. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis yaitu dimulai dengan mengumpulkan data, menganalisis data, dan menginterprestasikannya. Dan didukung dengan data-data primer dan sekunder melalui pendekatan tafsir ijmali. Hasil risetnya yaitu ditemukan pokok pembahasan bahwa pada zaman Nabi kondisi menafsirkan Alquran hanya sebatas penafsiran dari Nabi dan belum ada istilah tafsir ijmali saat itu, namun penafsiran beliau implementasinya seperti tafsir ijmali. Kemunculan istilah tafsir ijmali tidak secara langsung ada, tetapi bertahap yaitu lahir dan berkembangnya tafsir menjadi ilmu tersendiri yang terpisah dari hadis, seiring mengikuti kemajuan ilmu pada masa akhir bani umayyah dan awal bani abbasiyyah. Dasar dan urgensi tafsir ijmali memeberikan kontribusi yang mendasar bagi mufassir awal dalam mengkaji tafsir-tafsir Alquran. Dalam penafsirannya, tafsir ijmali memiliki langkah-langkah umum yang termuat dalam bahasa ringkasnya menjadi tiga poin, diantaranya tafsir ijmali diterapkan berdasarkan urutan-urutan teks Alquran mengikuti ayat-ayat yang sesuai dengan pengaturannya, terkadang mengedepankan asbab al-Nuzul, dan mufassir mengklasifikasi maknanya secara umum sehingga menampakkan maksud dan tujuan pada ayat-ayat Alquran. Kemudian tentunya tafsir ijmali bukan satu-satunya tafsir yang sempurna, pasti dalam implementasinya memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Salah satu kelebihannya mempermudah tahap awal bagi mufassir pemula, dengan tampak sederhana, mudah, praktis dan cepat, serta pesan-pesan Alquran mudah ditangkap, di sisi lain kekurang tafsir ijmali terdapat pada sifatnya yang simplisitis sehingga analisisnya terlalu dangkal dan tidak komprehensif.
