The scientific program "Cultural Heritage" implemented in the Republic should have an outlet for the development of architecture in Kazakhstan. The ethno-cultural concept of the image is realized through the synthesis of traditions and modern experience of technical and technological achievements. Archaic brutality of Scythian art compositions and bionic semantics - plasticity of ornamental art of the Kazakhs will be a formative component of the architectural image.

The research results are presented, according to the experimental assessment of the influence of the content (by weight) of various fractions of fine soil on its maximum density and optimal moisture content. It is shown that by increasing a certain fraction, it is possible to achieve the highest density and the lowest moisture content of fine soil with its required amount in the mixture. To select the optimal composition of soil mixtures for the construction of bulk earth dams, it is recommended to carry out similar laboratory tests.

The article deals with the experimental study of the technical characteristics of the new upholstery fabrics for upholstered furniture. As well as the basic methods of tissue tests, equipment and materials used for the study. The aim of the article is to study the technical characteristics of new upholstery materials for the production of upholstered furniture and the prediction of their durability. On the basis of the study found that flock tissue is more resistant to abrasion than chenille fabric and is recommended for the office and public furniture production. The results obtained allow to predict the life of upholstery fabric and choose for specific conditions and the most suitable type of tissue.

The article deals with the problems of technical renovation of the Kazakh theater stage. The relevance of the problem raised in the article is connected with the need for timely changes in the staging practice of theaters of the republic. These issues required a comparative and historical-cultural analysis of the problems of improving the technique of the stage and equipping the stage with equipment in the modern era. The global development of technology has forced many theater professionals to seriously think about the relationship between technology and art. After all, the technical equipment of the stage changed and developed along with the change in the tasks assigned to the theater by society. These problems arose in the theater in ancient times and accompanied the theater throughout its development. From this point of view, the question arises: is it necessary to look for new types of mechanical equipment, or has the theater reached the point where technology threatens art? In order to answer many questions put forward by time, it is necessary first of all to understand how stage technique developed and what role it played in the theater at different stages of its development. This requires a comparative analysis of the use of past and present technologies. It is also necessary to establish the boundaries of the use of technical means and the areas in which they are currently used.

The article presents the results of experimental studies of the properties of sand and cement. A comparative study of cements from different manufacturers for physical and mechanical characteristics, as well as analyzed the mining sites of quarry sand in Akmola region and their characteristics on the physical and mechanical properties. Evaluation of the physical and mechanical characteristics of Portland cement was made for the three types. The main evaluation parameters were: setting time, compressive and flexural strength. Performed studies have shown that the sand deposits «Eltok» (Type 1) on the physical and mechanical properties can be used for building purposes in the production of foamed concrete. A comparative analysis of the data setting time and strength properties of Portland cement shows that the most positive effect on the kinetics of concrete strength has «Kokshe-Cement» (Type 3). Based on the parameters, as well as taking into account their effectiveness on the physical and mechanical properties of concrete for further studies, the composition of Type 3 was chosen. As a result of the study of properties it is shown that the sands and cements are suitable for use in the foam concrete production.

The spatial organization of work, life and recreation of rural residents is characterized by the spatial integration of these functions. This applies not only to the residential sector, but also to the commercial sector. There is life and leisure, but there is also work; in the production zone there is not only work, but also creativity, life, rest (during a pause) (food, etc.). All functions operate outside the settlement. The conclusion suggests itself that rural restructuring should be viewed as a set of broad concepts, i.e. a feature of communities of different rank and degree, exclusive to a small circle of people.

The results of studies of the effect of modifying additives on the properties of ceramic masses are presented. It is shown that the complex activation of the ceramic mass by plasticizing additives in the form of bentonite and surfactants and using rice straw leads to a decrease in molding humidity and an improvement in the physical and mechanical properties of ceramics while reducing the firing temperature by 50-100 °C. The optimal composition of a ceramic composition containing low-plastic loam, bentonite, rice straw and surfactants for the production of ceramic bricks by plastic molding has been determined.

The article discusses the issues of natural examination of the technical condition of facings of inter-farm canals, which are an important element of the irrigation and drainage systems in agriculture. The purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for natural examination of the technical condition of facings, based on the use of modern methods of surveys. The study presents the results of natural examination of the facings of inter-farm canals in the agricultural areas of the region. The study shows that the facings of inter-farm canals are subject to various types of defects, including erosion, landslides, cracks, and deformation. The severity of these defects depends on the characteristics of the soil, the design of the facings, and the hydrological regime of the canals. The authors have developed a set of criteria for assessing the technical condition of facings, taking into account the characteristics of the geological structure of the soil, hydrological conditions, and other factors affecting the stability of the facings.

The prerequisite for the research reflected in this article is the need to recycle industrial waste, such as silicon production waste – microsilica; ferroalloys production waste – refined ferrochrome slag (further – RFS); the next waste – coal-fired power plant fly ash, all these wastes can and should be used in the building materials industry. The dynamically developing construction industry requires the attention of scientists and the direction of their work to improve production technology. Thus, the article is devoted to research of influence of various small fillers (industrial wastes) available in Kazakhstan on self-compacting concrete mixes (SCC) and their rheological, physical and technical properties. By results of researches the most effective type of fine aggregate from industrial wastes, allowing to receive a high-quality SCC mix on the basis of local raw materials was revealed. The use of microsilica as compared to other industrial wastes resulted in a conglomerate with high compressive strength (SCC) at early hardening periods. In terms of economic efficiency and quality improvement, the results of the study are of practical value for manufacturers of ready-made self-compacting concrete mixtures operating in Kazakhstan.

The research article examines the impact and principles of the modernisation of architecture and design in response to pandemics and epidemics of the past. At present, the sanitary and epidemiological requirements in the design process make new demands on the organisation of new techniques not only for the design component, but also for the organisation of the object-spatial structure of objects of object design that contribute to answering the zoning of residential spaces both for the current time and aimed at the future. The article also deals with the fundamental tasks that drive change and become imperative characteristics of contemporary urban housing.
