Purpose: This study aims to examine hotel reviews, with a specific emphasis on environmental aspects. Employing advanced sentiment analysis techniques, we delve into user sentiments expressed in evaluations. Theoretical Framework: The theoretical framework utilizes sentiment analysis to delve into hotel reviews, emphasizing the environment. Focused on key areas such as staff service (professionalism and friendliness), hotel environment and facilities (beautiful décor and cleanliness), and affordability with a friendly pricing strategy. Design/Methodology/Approach: This study involves the manual collection and analysis of 3,475 hotel review from Centara Hotel & Convention Center Udon Thani. The methodology includes systematic steps: Preprocessing (removing irrelevant charcters and stopword), Feature Extraction (identifying key elements), Classification (using Logistic Regression for binary sentiment analysis), and Prediction (applying the model to categorize new reviews). Findings: In our findings, Logistic Regression effectively categorized reviews into positive or negative sentiments, boasting a robust macro precision of 0.80. Notably, positive evaluations showed superior prediction results, with a high recall value of 0.84 percent, contributing to an impressive overall accuracy of 86 percent. These results highlight the efficacy of Logistic Regression in distinguishing sentiment categories, affirming its suitability for this analysis. Research, Practical & Social Implications: In summary, focusing on enhancing staff service, maintaining a pristine hotel environment, and offering friendly, affordable services has the potential to greatly boost customer satisfaction and overall business performance. These strategic efforts not only generate positive feedback but also lead to increased competitive advantages and expanded market share in the fiercely competitive hotel industry. Originality/Value: The findings have broader implications by shaping public perceptions, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making, and positioning hotels for success in the highly competitive hospitality landscape.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a hands-on educational approach on pupils' achievement and retention in the Cultural and Creative Arts. Theoretical Framework: The theoretical framework for this study is based on cognitive learning and experiential learning. Methodology: Study participants were primary five pupils in Oshimili South Local Government Area, Delta State. As part of this study, ten hands-on activities were used to engage primary five pupils in the learning process. Hands-on activities included magazine family puppets, musical glasses, painting to music, PVC sculptures, roll an activity, sound boxes, sound cans, sun shadow pictures, and swinging to music. Using a quasi-experimental design, two research questions and two hypotheses were developed and tested at a 0.05 level of significance. The study involved 100 primary five pupils from ten primary schools. Participants were divided into experimental and control groups (n=50). Culture and creative arts were taught through hands-on activities in the experimental group, but not to their counterparts in the control group. Despite this, after four weeks of experimentation, pretest and posttest data were collected from both groups. Data were collected using the Cultural and Creative Arts Achievement Test (CCAT) and the Cultural and Creative Arts Retention Test (CCRT). Participants were given the instruments directly by their respective group leaders. Based on the mean and standard deviation of the test scores, ANOVA was used to test the hypotheses. Findings: A significant effect of hands-on instruction on pupils' achievement and retention in cultural and creative arts was found. Based on the findings, the researchers recommended that pupils should be exposed to sophisticated hands-on materials to improve their achievement and retention in cultural and creative arts, and that teachers also be trained on how to use hands-on instructions in the classroom. Research, Practical & Social Implications: The study promotes active engagement and participation, which allows pupils to actively participate in the learning process. They gain a better understanding of the subject matter and retain more information. The hands-on approach promotes creativity and problem-solving skills. Pupils are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, and come up with innovative solutions through hands-on activities. As a result, their creative thinking skills are enhanced, and they are prepared for future challenges in the creative arts industry. Originality/Value: In the cultural and creative arts domain, hands-on instructional methods offer originality and uniqueness. Pupils gain a deeper understanding of subjects through interactive and hands-on classroom experiences. Hands-on activities can assist teachers in creating a more engaging and effective learning environment, resulting in improved pupil performance and retention.

Purpose: The objective of this work is to apply a predictive model of bacterial growth to determine the concentration of total coliforms, under controlled laboratory conditions, in wastewater from the city of Riobamba that flows into the Chambo River (Ecuador). Theoretical Framework: Wastewater pollution is a global problem that affects water quality and public health. Population growth has a drastic impact on the contamination of water bodies, particularly in Ecuador, since most of the effluents are not adequately treated, which becomes a public health and environmental problem. For this reason, over the years, total and fecal coliforms have been used as indicators of water quality. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study used a mathematical modeling approach of a logistic and deterministic type, and calculated through an executable command designed in the integrated development environment (IDE) with the Visual C# programming language (logic) and the XAML design language (interface). Findings: The results achieved are 1) the theoretical construction of a mathematical model (logistic model) starting from a differential equation and the taking of three experimental measurements, 2) the computer construction of the bacterial growth model and 3) it has been demonstrated that there is agreement between the values obtained from the model of total coliform growth and the experimental results with a margin of error of less than 1%. Research, Practical & Social Implications: This information can be used by stakeholders to determine actions that could improve current conditions. Originality/Value: The result of this study emphasizes that the model proposed can reproduce the growth of coliforms up to a maximum growth point, it is necessary to continue with the development of the same in the stationary phase of bacterial growth and then in the decay phase.

Purpose: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a surge in e-commerce as millions of people were forced to stay at home and adopt digital channels for their purchases to avoid crowded supermarkets. It made the whole world look towards e-commerce as a one-stop solution for keeping markets alive. However, it came as an opportunity for digital fraudsters as a huge number of digital frauds were reported during this pandemic. Such incidents raised questions about online trust-related issues. Fake websites, insecure payment mechanisms, data theft, privacy breach, product reliability, etc., are a few of the reasons why many people are still not confident about using e-commerce platforms. When customers cannot physically touch, feel, and see the products, it becomes even more suspicious and raises serious uncertainty about the quality of the promised product and transaction setup in the e-commerce framework. Design/Methodology/Approch: In this study, primary data was collected through structured questionnaires from e-commerce website users belonging to Generation Z and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling and Path Analysis in IBM SPSS AMOS version 24. Findings: Online Security, Online Privacy, and Website appearance were studied and found to have a significant positive impact on online trust. Online trust was also found to be a predictor of purchase intention. Online trust was also found to act as a full mediator between online security and purchase intention, online privacy, and purchase intention, and as a partial mediator between website appearance and purchase intention. Research, Practical & Social Implications: The cross-sectional nature of this study makes it difficult for making inferences about causal relationships so new studies can adopt and check the utility of a longitudinal approach in this area. Furthermore, the data collected using convenience sampling had all young generation respondents, mostly college/university students. This current study takes only three antecedents of online trust with reference to a young generation; an exploratory study is needed here to find out new possible antecedents of developing online trust. Moreover, the appearance of the website is altogether a vast area to investigate for further development; very limited dimensions of the appearance of e-commerce websites are covered in this study.

Purpose: The research focuses on identifying managerial practices in higher education and their connection to innovation in order to establish diagnostic and reflective elements regarding managerial activities in the university. Finally, it is crucial to interpret the results within the specific context and the value that managers bring to academic activities. Theoretical Framework: There are not enough studies associated with managerial practice in higher education, let alone focused on innovation. The main references in managerial practice refer to Mintzberg. In terms of innovation management, various models and alternatives are presented in both the management and education domains. Design/Methodology/Approach: The research has a qualitative descriptive hermeneutic approach and used a non-probabilistic sample of 20 executives from 5 higher education institutions, who were provided with a self-administered questionnaire. Additionally, observation processes and dialogue with 6 executives were conducted to delve deeper into the obtained information and carry out a more detailed hermeneutic process. Findings: The managerial practice in higher education institutions is far from consistently incorporating innovation into their activities. The analyzed institutions show a low presence of innovation management methods, indicating that they do not have a clear development path. Among some of the needs prevailing in the studied organizations is the incorporation of innovation in the design of managerial positions and functions, as well as the ability to allocate specific periods of time to address innovation. Research, Practical & Social Implications: The research proposes elements to evaluate within the organization and projects elements to strengthen managerial activity in higher education, as well as to improve decision-making. Originality/Value: Research on managerial practice is not abundant, and even less so within the framework of higher education. Therefore, it is essential to replicate this type of work to understand the reality of organizations

Research, Practical & Social Implications: The research proposes elements to evaluate within the organization and projects elements to strengthen managerial activity in higher education, as well as to improve decision-making. Originality/Value: Research on managerial practice is not abundant, and even less so within the framework of higher education. Therefore, it is essential to replicate this type of work to understand the reality of organizations","PeriodicalId":31480,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Professional Business Review","volume":" 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139144127","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Purpose: The aim of this article is to understand the perception of stakeholders of university performance, its determinants, actors and influencing factors. Theoretical Framework: The literature review shed light on the current state of the Moroccan university, namely its issues and challenges, while emphasizing the concept of performance in the complex university environment. Design/Methodology/Approach: In the course of this research, we mobilized a qualitative approach based on a single case study, namely the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University in the city of Fez. Findings: The analysis of stakeholders' perceptions and expectations revealed the existence of several factors influencing the university's performance: the quality of the internal environment and its ability to guarantee the quality of training, the integration of graduates into the job market, scientific production, the search for funding through contracts, research projects, motivation of researchers through the reimbursement of publication costs for their scientific research in indexed journals, and good governance. Taken together, these factors are the main determinants of Moroccan university performance. Research, Practical & Social Implications: The results of our research will be used by neighboring universities to improve their performance. It's not just a question of looking at financial indicators such as the commitment rate to judge whether the university is efficient. We need to go beyond this dimension to touch on others, because as long as its missions and stakeholders are plural, achieving performance remains utopian in terms of its dimensions. Originality/Value: The article's originality lies in its treatment of the notion of performance in a rather complicated environment characterized by the proliferation of its stakeholders, making it difficult to assess in comparison with other establishments. This paper will be of great added value to universities that want to make performance one of their elementary objectives by referring first and foremost to the various factors that help generate university performance.

Purpose: Agribusiness is a phenomenon of interest to science from several aspects, and this multiplicity of aspects taken simultaneously is a new way of trying to understand and explain it. Specific, unidisciplinary studies still predominate on a single element of agribusiness, such as finance, marketing, and production, among countless others. However, the trend is towards multifactorial studies because agribusiness is a phenomenon that cannot be classified solely as industry, commerce, or service or as a primary, secondary, or tertiary sector. Consolidated agribusiness is all of these things simultaneously, whose reality is delimited by science based on its conceptual definitions. Therefore, the definitions must be analyzed so that the current stage of scientific knowledge about the phenomenon can be understood, especially its limits, characteristics, and dynamics, which are the purposes of this study. Theoretical Structure: The theoretical architecture of this study consisted of seeking to understand the phenomenon of agribusiness with socio-economic development, which is its most evident externality. It was carried out interdisciplinary, highlighting its integral reality based on what appears and can be identified in the conceptual definitions available in scientific publications. The justification for this procedure was the need to understand agribusiness from multiple scientific views so that its various aspects could be understood. Design/Methodology/Approach: This study aimed to analyze the conceptual definitions of agribusiness in the scientific literature in studies published between 2015 and 2023. To this end, it established three guiding questions, which sought to identify the frontiers of knowledge about the phenomenon, its main attributes, and what logical scheme it is possible to find among its main defining characteristics. For this, the conceptual bibliographic method was used, which consists of formulating a problem and its breakdown into a response pattern, collecting data in scientific databases, organizing and analyzing data based on semantic resources, and generating responses from the diagrammatic layout of the data organization. Findings: The results showed the existence of nine approaches to agribusiness (set, sum, activity, science, practice, configuration, industry, process, and transformation) and eight groups of attributes (transnational activities, commercialization, distribution logistics, supply logistics, companies, production, services, and agroecosystem). These discoveries allowed us to understand that agribusiness has an evolutionary dynamic that begins with the professionalization of the rural output and culminates with the irradiation of the reach of this production to transnational borders. Research, Practical, and Social Implications: These findings fundamentally affect how agribusiness is viewed. In Brazil, in particular, the prevalent mentality tends to distinguish agribusiness as a unique an
