Pesantren’s Traditions in Preparing Human Resources (Santri) at Ibnul Amin Pamangkih and Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Amuntai Pesantren Pesantren在Ibnul Amin Pamangkih和Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Amuntai的人力资源准备传统(Santri)

This study aimed to know what traditions were developed by Ibnul Amin Pamangkih and Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Amuntai Pesantren in preparing human resources (santri). This study used field research which was done by observing pesantren’s traditions in preparing human resources (santri) at Ibnul Amin Pamangkih and Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Amuntai pesantren in preparing human resources (santri). The qualitative approach was used in this study. Then, the data obtained from the interview, observation, and documentation. While, the data sources were from foundation management, the head of pesantren, administrators, ustadz and ustadzah. The result of this study showed that the sciences and skills field were developed at pesantren. Science field covered writing book, reading yellow book, studying Nahwu and Sharaf, and vocabuary memorizing (English and Arabic). While skills field covered foreign language conversation (Arabic and English), reading Maulid, pilgrimage, muhadharah, memorizing Al-Qur’an, memorizing prayers of arwah, haul, and selamat, Haula tradition and calligraphy.

Survey Study of ESP Learning Needs at the Islamic Religious Education Study Program of Tarbiyah Faculty of IAIN Bengkulu 明古鲁伊斯兰学院塔比耶学院伊斯兰宗教教育研究项目ESP学习需求调查研究

This study aimed to determine the needs of non-English Study Program students. Quantitative and survey methods were applied in this study. A questionnaire through the Graves model analysis consisting of student profile analysis, Target Situation Analysis (TSA), Current Situation Analysis (CSA), and Learning Situation Analysis (LSA) were the instruments used in collecting the data. Participants were the third-semester students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at Tarbiyah and Tadris Faculty of IAIN Bengkulu in 2018 to 2019 academic year. In determining the participants, the writers applied a simple random sampling technique. There were 37 students from a total population of 150 students. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, namely by calculating percentage (%) and classified data so that the needs of students in learning English could be identified. The findings were (1) the ESP approach was the right approach to be applied in learning English at IAIN Bengkulu based on the students’ age and experience in learning English,  (2) the gap between the targeted needs by the campus and the students’ English skills was less, (3) the gap between what students needs and the material in the ESP English textbook was in category desire, and (4) the topic of reading comprehension text was directly related to the study of Islamic Religious Education as a student’s area of ​​expertise.

Modern Pesantren Tradition: Kiai’s Leadership in Keeping the Tradition in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era 现代Pesantren传统:Kiai在工业革命4.0时代保持传统的领导

This study aimed to describe modern pesantren tradition that focused on the traditional values, kiai’s leadership in keeping the tradition, and modern pesantren educational orientation in the industrial revolution 4.0 era. The data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation with multi-site research. The research sites were six modern pesantren which were taken from six districts or cities in Banten province. The findings of the research were:  Modern pesantren was the daily life behavior of all its residents who were attached to five souls and motto of the pondok. The leadership of the kiai was not centralized to the role of the kiai but it was distributed to the teachers, and the kiai’s role as the guardian of the modern pesantren tradition was central; the education of modern pesantren in the industrial revolution 4.0 era had experienced a shift in orientation, especially in preparing qualified graduates in the digital era. The modern pesantren did not only serve as the institution of tafaqquh fi al-din which educated students to have noble character but also prepared independent and competitive graduates in the digital era.  
本研究旨在描述以传统价值观为核心的现代女大学生传统、kiai在保持传统方面的领导地位,以及工业革命4.0时代的现代女大学生教育取向。数据收集是通过多地点调查的访谈、观察和记录来进行的。研究地点为在万丹省6个区(市)采集的6幅现代妇女画像。研究结果表明:“现代居民是依附于5个灵魂和池塘格言的所有居民的日常生活行为。”教会的领导权并不是集中在教会的角色上而是分配给教师,教会的角色是现代教会传统的守护者;工业革命4.0时代的现代大学生教育经历了取向的转变,特别是在培养数字时代的合格毕业生方面。现代大学不仅是教育学生高尚品格的机构,也是为数字时代培养独立和有竞争力的毕业生的机构。

Suprasegmental Errors of Students with Javanese Mother Tongue: A Case at a Private Islamic University in Purworejo 爪哇母语学生的超语段错误——以Purworejo私立伊斯兰大学为例

This study was aimed to examine errors found in suprasegmentals, more specifically in word stress and intonation; and to explain the causes of errors made by the learners. The research samples were twenty of the first semester students who spoke Javanese as their mother tongue and who took Pronunciation subject. The instruments of the study were pronunciation test and focus group interview. The pronunciation test was used to get the data of suprasegmental errors, specifically in word stress and intonation. Meanwhile, the interview was used to get the data of the causes of errors. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics analysis and thematic analysis. The findings showed that there were 35.8 % errors in word stress and 40 % errors in intonation. Then, the source of errors occurred because of mother-tongue influence, target language or intralingua, learning strategy and learners' attitude. Other factors contributed to the errors were lack of practice and lack of exposure to the native speakers both in the classroom and outside the classroom

STRATEGI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MEMBENTUK AKHLAKUL KARIMAH PESERTA DIDIK

All educational institutions try to form students who have faith and noble character. In this case the teacher has a central role to participate in the process, especially for Islamic education teachers. In the teaching and learning process not only provides knowledge, but must show aspects of educating morals to students. Therefore the strategy that is owned by the teacher in forming moral character must be appropriate so that the learning process is more effective and efficient. The purpose of this study was to determine the values ​​of moral values ​​implanted by Islamic education teachers at and to find out the strategies used by Islamic education teachers in shaping students' morals. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with methods of literature. The results of this study indicate that the formation of morals by Islamic education teachers is by maintaining cleanliness, caring for others and being responsible for what has been done. While the strategy used by Islamic education teachers in shaping the morals of students is by giving examples to students and accustoming Dhuha prayer and Dhuhr prayer in congregation, and reading the Qur'an together so that students have noble character.

NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM TRADISI SUROAN: Studi di Desa IV Suku Menanti, Sindang Dataran Kabupaten Rejang Lebong

Merging between Islamic religion and Javanese cultural behavior has become an interesting phenomenon for any study related to religion. This is supported by the strong Javanese people’s belief in their tradition and therefore cannot be abandoned. Some people may assume that such a tradition is against religious teachings, especially Islam. Apart from that, this study sought to see another side of the tradition, especially the Suroan’s tradition in the Javanese community in Sindanti Dataran Menanti village, Rejang Lebong regency, Bengkulu, whether there were values ​​in Islamic education. To answer this problem, a qualitative approach was used by conducting direct observations and in-depth interviews. This study concluded that there were some Islamic education values ​​such as (I'tiqodiyah) which represented the value ​​related to faith such as the faith in Allah SWT; Educational value (Amaliyah) that was associated with behavior such as worshiping education; and educational value (Khuluqiyah) which was related to ethics (morals) aiming to avoid oneself from negative behavior and decorate oneself with commendable behavior.

This study investigated the link between each dimension of English teachers’ classroom management and the twelfth grade students’ English achievement, and the influence of each dimension of English teachers’ classroom management on the twelfth grade students’ English achievement of one Islamic senior high school in Palembang. The correlation research design was applied in this study. The population of this study was the twelfth grade students. Convenience sampling technique was used to select the sample consisting of 85 students, 42 students of science class and 43 students of social class. The result analysis indicated that there was no significant correlation between behavioral dimension of classroom management and English achievement since the r-obtained (-.012) was lower than r-table (.213). Then, there was no significant correlation between instructional dimension of classroom management and English achievement since the r-obtained (-.016) was lower than r-table (.213). From the findings, it can be concluded that each dimensions of classroom management had no correlation with English achievement. It means that the English teachers’ classroom management was not a dominant factor affecting students’ English achievement.

The need for good communication skill in English has become a demand that continues to increase. One frustration is that they have spent years studying English, but they still cannot speak it. Therefore in this case, it is necessary to know what are the things that influence willingness of the students to speak English in the language class. This study investigated the student teachers’ perception on factor influencing willingness to speak English in language classroom at English Education Study Program of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. I used qualitative study with case study design. The participants of this study were nine students of English Education Study Program of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang in the academic year of 2016/2017. The participants were chosen by using purposeful sampling technique. I employed interview technique to collect the data. The result showed that a number of factors contributed to student teachers’ willingness to speak. These factors included motivation, selfbeliefs’, collocutor, and object discussion.

Communication Strategy for Children with Speech Delay 言语迟缓儿童的沟通策略

  Delay in talking to children certainly has an impact on the stages of its development so that it requires a communication strategy from both parents and teachers to stimulate the child's speaking ability. This study aimed to describe the application of communication strategies and the effect of their application on children's communication skills. This research is qualitative research using a case study method involving students, parents and kindergarten teachers in Jumni City, Palopo. The results of observations and interviews were then analyzed using thematic content analysis techniques. Based on observations and interviews conducted, it was found that parents implemented various strategies, such as speaking slowly and clearly, routinely inviting talking and using hand movements. While, the teacher implements strategies to correct word pronunciation errors, invites storytelling and uses body movements. Through the application of this strategy, the child's ability to speak is getting better and the principle of two-way communication can occur where students are able to channel their desires, imagination, and emotions. Thus, it is hoped that communication strategies can be developed and implemented by parents and teachers to the fullest.

AbstractDemocracy about education in which many problems often occur, one of which is a problem that often occurs in the world of education according to the observations of researchers, such as schools, especially teachers often become a reference of many things that are not desired by the community. When children depend on watching television, it is the school that is targeted because it is considered not to provide maximum media education. When brawls often occur, it is the school that is highlighted the most because schools lack instill education in values. When people do not know much about technology, it is also the school that is the focus because of inattention to the times, and there are still many other examples of problems. The purpose of this study is to find out what is a democratic concept in Islam and to explain democratic education according to Islam. The research method used is a grounded theory method that uses data from materials that are a library (library research), where the author reads and studies books or literature relating to the problem under study. The principles of Islamic democracy towards Islamic education are: There is freedom for educators and students, which freedom here includes: freedom of work, freedom to develop potential and freedom of opinion. Similarities with students in Islamic education. Because Islam provides equal opportunities for all students to get an education or study. Respect for the dignity of individuals in Islamic education. Keywords: Democracy; Discussion; Education; Value.    Abstrak Demokrasi mengenai pendidikan yang mana banyak permasalahan yang sering terjadi salah satunya adalah masalah yang sering terjadi dalam dunia pendidikan menurut hasil pengamatan peneliti, seperti: sekolah terutama guru sering menjadi rujukan dari banyak hal yang tidak diinginkan masyarakat.
